    Christopher Robertson

I’d like to introduce you to Christopher Robertson.

Christopher Robertson is a 41 year old professional criminal and crackhead.

I’ve known a lot of crackheads in my days. Being a recovering drug addict, and spending time in numerous drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, as well as a Sober Living House or two, I’ve run across my share of those little vermin.

I’m gonna let you in on a little secret folks; just about every other type of junkie doesn’t think much of crackheads. There’s something about that God damn drug that gets ahold of you and once its got you, it’s as hard as anything I’ve every seen to get away from. I never messed with it, and I thank God for that, because there was a time when I truly believed crack came to the Earth from the Devil himself, and I could bring you 1000 guys I knew who would tell you the same thing.

So I looked up Chris’ arrest record on the Pinellas County FL court records, and he had the usual arm’s length jacket, this time for Grand Theft Auto, a bunch of traffic infractions and (of course) failure to pay fines for said infractions, a dab of domestic abuse, and a DUI with Injuries. He did do a small amount of jail time, but not much. No sign that he’ was a threat to kill anyone, right? At least, not on purpose.

But apparently Christopher Robertson was more of a danger than his police record belied. I found this comment on an online newspaper article about Anna’s murder:

This S.O.B used to live in the Central Virginia area for a couple years ago and dated my older sister briefly. We always thought Chris was crazy until he finally snapped (keep in mind he is a crack head/steroid abuser) and nearly strangled my sister to death. He went as far as stopping to get a gas canister and throwing the gasoline everywhere in the house; threatening to burn them all down. My sister got her dog and drove the hell out of there, 50 miles away to where my mom and I left.

This is 22-year-old Anna Marie Kasvicis, the mother of two beautiful kids – Sabrina, 7 and Nathan, 4 – and fiancée’ of Robert Piccolo, 20. She was also 2 months pregnant with Robert’s baby. Life was becoming really good for a person who everyone described as “a wonderful person” & “hard working”. She was living with her two children & Robert in his trailer in the Palace Mobile Home Park along with Chris Robertson, who had just been released from jail, and on whom Robert Piccolo had made the mistake of bestowing a little kindness.

On Friday, March 7th 2008, at about 12:30 PM, Anna Marie stopped by the trailer to drop off some groceries on her way to a job interview. Piccolo said she commented to Robertson that he wasn’t to touch the food. He said that triggered a back-and-forth that ended when Robertson, 41, grabbed a butcher knife from the kitchen and stabbed her in the chest. Piccolo witnessed the altercation.

22-year-old Anna Marie Kasvicis – mother, daughter, friend, wife-to-be – was taken by ambulance to Bayfront Medical Center, where she was pronounced Dead On Arrival

Christopher Robertson, being the stand up guy that he was, ran. Now there’s a man’s man for you. Ain’t no ho gonna tell me what I can & can’t eat. But wait, she might be a black belt in some martial art, or have a nail file, or maybe her finger nails a long and sharp. I better even the odds with this butcher knife. And now that I’ve stabbed her in the heart, I better go run to the nearest place where no one is and get help.

What a fucking guy, huh folks? Let all here it for Chris Robertson, murderer of women and unborn babies.

Anyways, the Saint Pete cops caught up with him the next day, and Christopher Robertson almost immediately confessed to the murder. He was charged with Second Degree Murder, which carries a maximum penalty of Life in Prison. Let’s hope he gets sentenced to every single day of that Life Sentence, because this girl deserved to live her life. What she didn’t deserve was to have it taken away by some roid ragin’ crackhead son of a bitch who was so worthless he was incapable of going out and getting a job just to feed his own dumb ass self.

Postscript: Many thanks to Andrea for sending in the idea to write this story. Anna Marie Kasvicis was a friend of hers, and this is the second time I’ve been asked to handle a story that was close to someone. I’d first like to say that it was my privilege write this story. Second, I’ve never been one to take anything very seriously, but not with this case. I researched, I read, and I hope I came through for you. Know this, you got my best effort, and even my mother never figured that one out…..

Many years ago getting my start I worked as a night manager at a convenience store in a pretty rough part of town. As the only 24 hour store within several blocks we were a magnet for vagrants and drug abusers. I tolerated them as long as they stayed out of sight, didn’t panhandle or beg my customers, and didn’t do drugs or drink on the property.

Most followed the rules and kept each other in line (they didn’t want to jepordize their safe lighted spot in the bushes and daily free stale donut and old coffee.) If one messed up, I’d warn them once before banning them.

All except the known drug abusers. I learned very quickly that one incident with a drug abuser, if tolerated, nearly always resulted in them pushing the line further and further.

In this case, I wish that animal “Chris” had pushed too far and that Robert had had a chance to ban him from his house before this tragedy occured.

    2. Fred says:

Plain and simple – death penalty.
I am 41 and I hope I do not look that shitty in another 20 years from now.
Not much to say except death – the money and the space that he takes could be used better elsewhere.

    3. Claire says:

I worked with the homeless in my last job, particularly street drinkers. I warned everyone who would listen not to give the addicts even a glance when they passed them on the street. I told them where they hung out so they would keep walking – if they gave them even a second of attention, and God forbid money, chances are the drug abusers would remember them and hassle them again and again. But they wouldn’t remember them if they gave them nothing.

I’d also like to add, that Anna Marie was a beautiful looking girl – that picture has really touched me for some reason. She looks so full of hope.

      RIP Anna Marie.

    4. The Danger Zone says:

WTF Was this scrotum scab thinking killing this girl? Over what? A fucking piece of bologna?

She goes out and works… She’s hunting for a new job… Moneys tight & this absess puss gets pissed when she lets him know to leave it alone…

Oh how I hate the sin of gluttony… This greedy little fuck needs to comprehend what it feels like to be scalped.

      • Claire says:

He was a crackhead. He wasn’t thinking.

        • Marcie says:

Crackheads do think. I almost married one myself at the age of 18. They just dont think clearly and are completly fuckin ridiculous with the way they think. May this girl RIP and hopefully, since he is not only a woman killer, but a BABY KILLER that some father whose also in jail for life might just kill him off for us…what a fuckin shame

          • Claire says:

That’s what I meant Marcie…he wasn’t thinking like a NORMAL person – not that his whole entire brain had fallen out of his ears and there was just a black hole there.

    5. Marcie says:

oh and LOL @ the blongna thing a comment or 2 back. I think it was brobably more over the cheese though ;) j/k

      • Miwist says:

Max doesn’t have to proofread – he’s a cat, ya know. You hafta play the game his way.

      • Amy says:

So there was a typo or two…it does not change the fact that this beautiful young woman, mother, was brutally murdered.
I know that Max really feels for the victims on this site as if he had lost someone dear to him.
Its an emotional thing doing a write up such as this one, especially when your doing the research. You get angry, you get sad and you grieve right along with the people that the victims have left behind.
I hope they fry this scub bag.

      • SC says:

This is not a term paper and has less typos than some articles I’ve seen in the newspaper. I never thought that I would say this, but stop being such a grammar Nazi and just focus on the article. Damn.

        • Claire says:

Yeah who cares!! I’m an Essential Skills teacher (I teach vulnerable adults how to read, write and so on) and I’m the Queen of typos!!! It just doesn’t matter when there is a real life tragedy going on!!!

          • SC says:

I volunteer as a tutor; I help children who need extra one-on-one attention learn to read and write. I’ve always been painstakingly correct and notice when other people are not. However, there is a time and place for everything. If this were a term paper for an Ivy League school, okay, yeah, the typos wouldn’t fly. But this is a blog article about a terrible tragedy that has destroyed two lives and shattered three. The two really can’t be compared.

          • Claire says:

Exactly SC!!! I notice mistakes – especially my own when I type too fast – but only point them out on the internet if I feel they interfere with legibility, which in this case they obviously do not.

      • whiteiris says:

Danielle you better think twice, Max the Cat has been knocking stories out on the fly left and right with passion and conviction. It’s amazing, they are coming out of his pores! I would like to see you do the same. Harsh maybe, but someone needs to point you in the right direction. Fast! It is bad etiquette to come to a site such as this to read and rip-off. Because that’s how I felt reading your comment, ripped off. Not only are you a mooch (Definition:to get or take without paying or at another’s expense; sponge) :o), it goes to show how uncreative your mind is. You don’t even deserve to comment here…you are not worthy. Ha ha, he he.

Max, the story was great. The tie in with the friend of the victim, continued with their personal comments from the heart, who actually ended up being nice people, cool. You could tell they enjoyed the story a lot. How special. :o)…Bravo Fluffy Kitty..Bravo…

      • LoriC says:

This is the only comment you have after reading this story?!? Amazing-a young mother was killed over groceries by a crackhead, and you’re worried about a few typos or misspellings?!? You are the type of person that would see someone killing someone and criticize their technique.

RIP Anna Marie. I hope you are in a much better place now.

      • eternal says:

you write one, danielle. show us what perfection looks like.

    12. jennifer says:

I know this trailer park. It is specifically for sex offenders. My brother-in-law had to live there for a while. He got drunk and exposed himself, on webcam, to an undercover officer posing as a 14 year old girl. What an idiot! I didn’t think children were allowed to live there. My sister’s kids were not allowed to step on the property. I hope Robert is able to get his kids the hell away from those sickos. I don’t even want to imagine what else could happen.

    13. Lena says:

PROOFREAD?! You read this story and thats your only comment?! WOW!

    14. SC says:

He stabbed a pregnant woman to death over groceries…wow. Now her children have to grow up without a mother. Nice going, asshat. Someone tries to help him out and how does this worthless crackhead repay him? He murders his fiancee and unborn child. Nice, real nice. And he only gets second degree murder? Wow. I think anyone who strikes a pregnant woman deserves life in prison and anyone who kills one and/or causes the death of the baby deserves to die.

Oh, and another bone of contention: Who voted “No” on the poll? Maybe you missed this, but the bastard MURDERED A PREGNANT WOMAN and left two small children motherless! Honestly, if there really is a heaven and hell (which I doubt because I believe in reincarnation, but anyway) I really wouldn’t want to be in heaven with a monster like this! If this asshole is in heaven and there are only two places to go, I would choose to go to hell because, honestly, heaven wouldn’t be a good place with scum like this stinking it up.

      • Claire says:

Am I the only person on this site who believes in Hell??

St Teresa of Avila, a Doctor of the Catholic Church, wrote a number of annals relating to her visions of Hell. They are very interesting. She said that Hell is not an eternal fire, as some believe, but is actually a pit where each doomed person has reserved what can only be described as a cupboard, in which he will be locked for all eternity, doomed forever to listen to the wails and cries of the souls who rejected God on earth, and who continue to reject Him forever in the afterlife.

Even if you don’t believe in God, it makes for scary reading.

As a Catholic, I believe in Hell. I kinda have to…otherwise why would Jesus die on the cross?? But I also WANT to…I don’t want to think there is no justice or punishment for those who deserve it.

        • Amy says:

Jesus died to provide an equal to Adam, a ransom sacrifice. That way we could once again have what Adam and Eve lost. Perfect life On a paradise earth.
The bible tells us that the dead are ‘concious of nothing.’ If they are concious of nothing how can they feel the flames of hell…
Because of that scripture, i do not believe in hell or any description of it.

          • SC says:

You’re a Jehovah’s Witness:) I studied with them for a year and clearly remember the lessons. Although I did not accept the path for myself, I deeply enjoyed the lessons and the time spent with my teachers.

          • Claire says:

Really Amy?? Thats so interesting. No, as Catholic I believe that Jesus died to save me and everyone..He took on the sins that people had committed, and took on our punishment. BUT…only if we joined in the New Covenant He established, which took over from the Old Testament Covenant between God and the Jews.

I believe very much in Heaven and Hell…the dead may be conscious of nothing (after all, they are just corpses) but the SOULS of the dead are certainly conscious. At least that’s what I think.

          • Amy says:

Actually i was raised as a Jehovahs Wittness. Now im just…me.
I have been involved with a lot of religions, and found none that seemed to be backed up by the bible. Now i read the bible and draw my own conclusions from what is written there. I do go to church, but that is mostly for the social aspect of being around like minded people.

        • SC says:

No, I’m pretty sure there are others here who also believe in hell. It’s a very pervasive belief in our society, as well as an intriguing one.

St. Teresa of Avila sounds like a fascinating individual :) I think I shall have to pursue some of her writing now. It does sound like interesting–and scary–reading! Thanks for mentioning it!

Something I’ve noticed over the years is that even though people believe in many different things, most of them have a concept of justice that goes beyond this life. I am no exception. I basically believe that people who do good in life get rewarded in their next incarnation while those who do evil get punished. I don’t believe in eternal reward and punishment, as my view of the soul’s journey is cyclic rather than linear. I also view pregnant women as sacred, so the murder/mistreatment of one infuriates me, which is why I reacted so strongly to this article.

      • eternal says:

WTF? Did he make popcorn too?
What happened to jumping in there and kicking ass to save your girl?
I don’t care if this fuck is twisted high with a knife…somethings are worth the risk of death.

        • Andrea says:

Let me tell you that is the same questions all of her close friends asked, trust me that was the biggest question of them all!!!

        • NavyCop says:

A man with a knife can move very quickly, something like six feet in three seconds. Piccolo probably didn’t have enough time to react, poor guy. He lost his fiancee and unborn child. Don’t blame him more than he blames himself.

    17. Lena says:

I’m glad i wasnt the only one thinking that. I kinda felt bad for thinking it. What was he doing? I understand that it may have happened fast, but why let it get to that point(especially when some crazy crackhead is arguing with your pregnant fiance’)? Dont get me wrong it’s still this asshole crackheads fault, but that statment about him being there just threw me off.

    18. Wender er er says:

      Sigh…
My ex mother in law is a recovering crackhead, and although she managed to quit on her own, she still has very “crackish” ways.

Something about that drug, and meth, fries out the neurons that carry any type of locigal thought process. She comes up with the most RANDOM shit to say, and will try to fight you if you don’t agree with her.

      Sigh…crack is wack.

      • Amy says:

What kind of an idiot would START using crack in the first place? Everyone knows its addictive. Everyone knows it ruins lives.
You are so right…crack is whack!!!

        • Mulch says:

It’s simple Amy. Lazy good for nothing shitheads do drugs. Not only crack but pot, speed what the hell ever. Most are weak not being able to cope with life’s problems. Wanting to “tune” the problem out.

Then we have the “artists” who think they can only paint or what ever while stoned.

It’s all bullshit. Yes I have done pot and LSD in the past. Yes I was weak. but I got stronger and walked away from that shit. Never looked back. Shose instead to go through my problems and setbacks. Not run away from them.

Lastly we have the stoners who honestly believe that pot will do nothing to the body. So many studies have proven that is in fact does destroy the body. Using the old bullshit remark that it’s an “herb”. Well then on those lines normal tobaco is also an herb. Still destroys the body.

I would rather spend the day with my daughter. No drug can give me my daughter or the love from her.

If someone here smokes pot and is getting pissed off at me for writing the truth then fuck you and stop lying to yourself.

    19. Bob Saget says:

Which 3 assholes voted no for hell?

    20. missmissmarie says:

Amy, why do you believe some parts of the Bible but not other parts? You believe that the dead know nothing, but not that there is hell. Both are from the Bible, so either they are both true, or neither is true.

      • Amy says:

Hell was a place called Gehenna. It was literally a place where they dumped dead bodies and burned them.
I back up what i read in the bible with research of facts and actual places and events. Try doing some research.

    21. missmissmarie says:

Does anyone know where this guy is from?

    22. Gambler says:

Another guy who contributes nothing to society but the rotten air he exhales. Should have gotten the death penalty all he will do is take up more space in our prisons. Hope he gets raped and killed quickly.

    23. Lena says:

ROFLMAO! I can’t catch my breath! Omg! Turtle, that is the best thing I’ve heard ALL DAY! That’s gonna keep me laughing for the rest of the week!

    24. matt says:

i used to know this guy i grew up around him, he used to date my aunt and would abuse her, he always did drugs and was always fucked up in the head he is worthless to life he will burn in hell for what he did, just the thought of hurting that beautiful young woman is completly insane let alone killing her and her unborn child, my heart goes out to her family and friends. christopher robertson will rot in hell for this.

    25. FunkDupp says:

Max, lovely write up but I can’t really agree with ” Life was becoming really good “. Living in a trailer at a trailer park with your 2 kids (another on the way), your piss weak fiance and his crack head buddy while you work one job and look for a second to support them all doesn’t exactly sound like life’s becoming really good.
Why did her fiance just stand there and let it happen. If I invited someone to stay at my house to help them out and they started on my fiance they would get there ass kicked for disrespecting her.

    26. Robert says:

I can’t change what has happend.. but alot of people tend to put there opinions in the situation for fact, and most likely has never even seen a dead body before I love ger i COULD CARELESS WHAT YOU BELEVE and making it where I can no longer see them anymore is garbage grandparents and family have most likely filled up there head that I killed there mothre so there probably hate me now.. this is for the other page

Do not type drunk, on crack or other mind altering substances. I understand you have some sort of grief in this article, but little else shines through in your words. If you can’t write out what you feel, try short, simple sentences that express only one idea at a time, so others can try and understand what you’re trying to say. Think see spot run, see spot jump, sort of sentences.

        For example:

        1. I treated these children like they were my own.
        2. Someone(insert their name(s)) thinks I killed their mother.
        3. I miss my girlfriend (or wife, or what have you)
        4. I loved her.

I can try to guess your intent, but I can’t currently decipher it from what you’ve written.

      • Max The Cat says:

You really can’t blame them if some people in the family are angry with you for not intervening Robert, but that doesn’t mean everyone thinks you’re a murderer. Personally, I have a lot of compassion for you, especially after reading your comment. The truth is no one knows how they will react in a situation like the one you found yourself in until it happens, and I think it’s more than a little unfair to criticize someone else’s reaction.

Unfortunately, the loss of the children in your life is something I think you’re going to have to learn to live with. The family is well within their rights to do what they feel is in the best interests of the kids. I know it’s hard, but try and remember that they are all suffering too, and just as badly as you are.

As far as what strangers on a website like ours think of you, who cares man? None of us know you, or will probably ever meet you, even if we could recognize you. Your best bet would be to stay away from sites like this, and remember the old saying, “Opinions are like assholes – everybody has one and they all stink.” Good luck to you Robert. I hope some day you’re able to find some peace of mind and happiness.

    27. Noelegy says:

I worry that my stepson will be on this site someday. I really do.

I married a good and loving man who has three sons from his first marriage. The oldest and youngest are decent kids who’ve never given us any problems. The middle one is another matter. I don’t have enough room here to go through everything we’ve endured with this young man, just that in the 6 years I’ve known him we have dealt with a bipolar who won’t stick to a prescription regimen (he sniffs, shoots, and smokes everything under the sun but claims to be concerned about the liver damage that prescriptions can cause), EXTREME emotional abuse from his mother, two suicide attempts, numerous runaway attempts, two psych hospitals, one long and very expensive stint in drug rehab, and two years in prison.

Even more heartbreaking is the fact that this young man is handsome, charming, and very intelligent. His prison sentence happened because just after turning 17, he went to a party where he took an underage girl into a back bedroom. This boy was never able to hear and comprehend the word “NO.” He claimed it was consensual. Her parents felt otherwise. He went to jail.

In jail, he wrote me some of the most heart-wrenching and moving letters I’ve ever read. He seemed to have hit his rock bottom. He wanted to turn his life around, have a relationship with his family. He got his GED while in prison. Things were looking up.

He got out of prison, spent six weeks with his aunt, and immediately wanted to return to live with his mother. Everyone advised against it. Soon we learned that he had warrants out for his arrest because he refused to register as a sexual offender in the state where he moved.

A few weeks ago, he turned up on our doorstep unannounced, 800 miles from his mother’s home. Told us he was there to visit with us before he had to go back to prison. The last contact we had with him was a phone call in which he was yelling invectives at me, laced with the F-word. I told him he was not going to speak to me that way, and I hung up.

We just heard from his mother. He’s back in prison in the state where she lives. I can’t help but feel relieved. At least I know where he is and what he’s doing.

I know that this has nothing to do with the story above. Thanks for “listening.” I deliberately haven’t said his name here, but I’m very afraid that someday you’ll all know it too well. It’s a terrible feeling to know that you’ve done everything you can to help someone and they are still broken.

Thanks for the info Pic. God knows we’re all sorry for your loss. I’ve told you this before – I won’t blame you for what happened because I wasn’t there, and because no one knows what they will do in a given situation until they live it. Anyone who thinks differently is probably a fool and should be avoided at all costs. Time to let it go brother.
