The Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs – Igor Suprunyuck, Viktor Sayenko and Alexander Hanzha

Sometimes, when young people get bored, they get themselves into trouble. All us older member of PYSIH can attest to that. They get into their cars, or maybe even steal a car, and drive like maniacs. Young girls like to go to the malls and see if the can get away with shoplifting a couple of inexpensive items, just for the thrill of it. We’ve all seen the video of skateboarders and inline skaters trying to perform death defying stunts, and more often then not, failing miserably.

And there are the rare few for whom those things aren’t enough and only a long, violent murder spree will do the trick. Three young Ukrainian men, 20-year-old Igor Suprunyuck, Viktor Sayenko and Alexander Hanzha, found themselves in just such a position in 2005, and before it was over and they were in police custody, 21 people were dead, several more had been assaulted and severely beaten, and countless small animal had been tortured to death.

The thee youths dubbed themselves The Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs.

By all accounts, each victim came about by total chance. The three killers just picked them act random, trying to select people who wouldn’t fight back too much. Not exactly the “man as the ultimate prey” type, but just three thugs looking for thrill kills.

Of curse, they weren’t satisfied with only committing murder, they wanted things to remember their victims by for, as one of the killer put it, “when we’re old”. So they took pictures — Lot and lots of pictures. Three hundred to be exact, plus 2 complete videos of 2 murders.

One of those videos managed to find it’s way onto the Internet, and a friend of mine sent me a link to it. I must warn you that the video is brutally graphic and very, very disturbing, so don’t watch it if you’re the sensitive type or a child. I found an English translation of what was being said on the video, along with a description of the action, which I’ll reproduce here: Even if you’ve already decided you want to see it for yourself, read the translation first — It’s also very graphic and will allow you to make an informed decision about the video.

    Translation for the clip
[while approaching the victim]“Hold on, hold on….Be neater, fuck!” – probably saying that to watch out for the blood.

    *Laughing*

[After the Blond guy has used the sledge hammer ]“Hold on, hold on, hold on, don’t hit him, don’t hit him…..Watch him *the rest is muffled*” – Psycho fuck is probably telling him to watch how he is bleeding as he zooms in the camera to his face. – Camera man

The next part has very bad audio and is very muffled by cans and such. I can make out one or two words but not enough to make out a coherent sentence.

    [After the screwdriver stabbing]
“What?…..With what?” – As he responds to the guy who stabs him

“What, he’s still alive?!?” – The guy stabbing him exclaims

The response of the camera man I can’t make out perfectly because he’s speaking very fast and again the quality isn’t the best but I believe he says something along the lines of:

“He’s still moving his arms after I ripped up his intestines”

The stabber says something along the lines of “He’s having a fucked up day” as he steps on his stomach.

[More muffled talk as he proceeds to stab him in the eyes with the screwdriver]

“Get over here fast…..Kill him already.”

    “What?” – Stabber

    “Kill him already.”

He says something about his hammer which I believe to be “I already put the hammer back,” followed by “He’s already dead.” – Stabber

“He’s not dead and I already poked out his eyes” – Camera man

*Note: There are mainly two of saying the word “dead” in Russian, they’re using a term that is phonetically written as “zdoh,” which is a way of saying “dead” when talking about animals and things lower life value, such as criminals, if that makes sense*

“Get the knife” – Camera man

*Proceeds to bludgeon him then interrupts by saying something I can’t make out*

“More more” – Camera man telling him to keep bludgeoning him to make sure he’s dead, and not so much for pleasure any more.

“Hold on, hold on” – Camera man

*They start walking back to the car*

More muffled talk from the blond haired piece of shit

“Wash your hands” – Camera Man

Camera man begins telling him something that I can’t make out clearly for some reason but I believe he says “Spray the *name of the chemical*” followed by “I’ll hold it,” as they started to clean the hammer.

*Muffled talk from the guy washing the hammer*

*More muffled talk from the guy washing his face and walking back from his car*

“I stuck the screwdriver in his brain” – Says the camera man

*Muffled talk from the guy washing his hands*

“I got him in the nose from his eye” – Says the camera man *I’m not exactly sure on this one, but I know he says something along the lines of that.

“I don’t understand, how was he alive? I felt his brain” – Says the camera man

“I was holding the screw driver like this *muffled/don’t understand*” – Camera man

Before the video ends the blond piece of scum says something like “Alright, let’s get a picture”

Pretty heavy, huh? Unfortunately, the video is too big to post in this article, so I’m reduced to putting up a link to the “Documenting Reality” website. You can find the murder video here

Anyways, I found out Suprunyuck, Sayenko and Hanzha pleaded guilty to all the charges, but for the life of me I can’t locate any information on what their damn sentences were. If anyone out there happens to know this, please pass it along to me at editorpysih@comcast.net .

Man’s inhumanity to man has rarely been this ugly. We read about murders every day, and how many times have we heard that someone was bludgeoned to death. Well, up until today bludgeoning didn’t have a face, and now we know its face is a bloody, pulpy mass of flesh. These kids were having a great time watching a total stranger suffer unimaginable pain and their biggest concern was cleaning up the murder weapons while they made fun of the victim’s death throws.

It’s not like these kids were abused, or came from broken homes, just the opposite, they were quite wealthy and allegedly committed the crimes just for fun. They are thought to have used iron pipes and hammers on their victims. Mobile phone footage also suggests they practiced on cats first.

Later on one of the suspect quit and 2 guys continued to murder. Also they attended funerals of their victims, and took pictures of the mourners.

The Police are not revealing how they caught them but, with mobile phone footage of some of the murders, officers have little doubt of the identity of the criminals. “We think they were doing it as a hobby, to have a collection of memories when they get old,” said Detective Bogdan Vlasenko.

I wonder if they still do the death penalty the old Soviet way. You know, the condemned walks into a cellroom, followed by a police officer with a pistol in his hand. The door is shut behind them. Suddenly the lights go out, followed a second or 2 later by a shot as the officer put a round into the back of the condemned man’s head, thus carrying out the sentence. Seems like too quick and painless an end for these three animals, but letting them live would be even worse, IMHO.

I am not going to even attempt to watch the video. I felt ill just reading it.
      What sick, sick fucking animals.
And this was just for fun??? What the fuck is the world coming to?
The quicker they get rid of these scum the better off the world will be.

Don’t watch the video, it was sick, i had to turn it off i almost threw up

      • ArmorBlade says:

I’m quite sure they ceased to be the day after the conviction. Everyone’s response to moments like these of “What’s the world coming to!?” shows though the impact of media once again.
Everyone should stop being so ignorant – such occurances have been going on for all ages of time, it’s just more public and only shocking because that region of the world has been ‘calm’ in comparison to others. Want to see the suffering going on in Somalia? Nope everyone turns a blind eye to that one even though it promises to be worse than what these Ukranian boys did. Also all the news about American school shootings – been like that since the 80’s yet everyone is so shocked when it happens in an ‘upstanding community’ yet the news doesn’t bother covering all the ‘lower class’ school shootings of the inner cities.

The only thing that makes this worse is the obvious enjoyment and documentation of their acts – getting rid of the video would be preferable to deny their memories – but that too would defeat trying to be less ignorant…a toss up whether to be destroyed or not, but I won’t watch it though, what for?

        • PB says:

We must always continue to be utterly offended by violence. Any violence. Human nature must be defined by “humanity”.

        • Anonymous says:

Fuck you, and fuck your stupid ass views. Its because of faggots like you that the holocaust was started, too bad your grandparents werent killed in the camps.

Self-help teacher Jim Rohn said, you need to read books about how high a human can go, but also how low. This is TOO low. I’m glad the transcript was posted first. I can’t watch. My Christmas spirit is already pretty low (for no particular reason) and the video would send me over the edge.

        • Luis A. De Jesus says:

Hang in there, man. I know what you mean. The world seems like it’s only getting worse. Even the fact that technology has now allowed us to be more aware of these things than in any other time in human history, the idea that this has been a part of human nature for thousands of years brings no consolation to me at all.

      • Lavonna says:

I feel the same way Amy. I couldn’t even finish reading it. My God, people be so evil.

      • Daniel says:

I really don’t know if killing people is the right way to solve this “violence” problem, because if you do you will probably be behaving like these guys (other purposes but same actions). Also, this things happen everyday and we do not even notice them, but each one of these things have the same importance level, because we are talking about lives…so it is very unfair the fact they executed when murdering the man. I found myself in doubt and helplessnes during a long period of time, as the scenery on this video is devastating. He had a family to support, and he also was starting to recover from a cancer on his throat. When he was murdered he was on his way to his grandchild… I pay my respects for him and all those who had been murdered…

        • Mulch says:

Have you ever i your life been a part of any kind of violent act. A fist fight, served in our armed forces? Anything?

you see these scum when executed will never have the chance to kill again. They will never have the chance to hurt again.

Human beings are funny animals. We are the only animal on this planet that kills for greed, sport and fun. Yep thats right. Find me another animal that does and I’ll eat my words. It is very easy to kill. Getting over the fear of punishment today in the US is easy. You won’t get punished. After that it’s only a few peskey moral problem to get over. But pulling a trigger on a human is easy. When you find that out and really understand it there is nothing standing in the way of killing again. Well except death. thats were a strong punishment comes in.

So go back to selling your daisies on the street corner and leave th tough questions and problems to the people with the balls to handel them.

This is what kids do for thrills now. Fucking awful.

    5. vanessa says:

ive seen the video and i used to think i had a strong stomach… I had to turn away. Those boys deserve a death worse than what they dealt their vics!!! And they need brought back some how and killed again the same way.

      • diana says:

I thought of you Stormy, as I clicked on the link to the video, lol.

I shouldn’t have watched it. Obviously I’m not sensitive to gore, but have a really hard time thinking about what that poor man was feeling as he was being tortured. That was terrible.

        • stormy weathers says:

Yeah it’s pretty fucking bad man……The kind of video i wished i had never watched…..

….but also the kind of video that i couldn’t not watch

Death. Just to death. All three of them. There is no rehabilitation possible. Not when you enjoy inflicting pain and taking your time that much.

    8. TurtleMania says:

They have a video? I’m jealous.

I appreciate their enthusiasm, but it was aimed at innocents and that’s not good.

If they weren’t innocent victims then hooray for the video. In any case it goes to show you to keep the vids to yourself or risk getting caught.

I hate that they did this. I wish they were on the other side.
It takes maturity to understand that you have this raw talent but it should go to good use. These kids have the feeling of being immortal, and think that they will live forever. Combine that with immaturity, lack of guidance and boredom and you have a recipe for hell.

    9. eternal says:

this mess is si nuts it’s uncategorized. now that’s saying something about these little scumbags. reading the translation was bad enough. i do not dare watch the video.

i only wish i knew what they were sentenced to.

    10. TurtleMania says:

Watching the video was like watching a sporting event and seeing your team lose. You yell and scream at the video wishing you were there to help win for the team.
Part of me feels really down because I wished I knew these kids to have them direct their earnest energies to the bad guys not innocent folk.
You get greater pleasure from torturing some wanna be bad ass that killed a kid than you would an innocent.

I wish these kids knew that. It so sad for me this story. It’s comparable to the feeling of a son letting you down.

      • Tress says:

Seriously? I hope you are joking. I do not think a sporting event can be compared to this.

        • TurtleMania says:

In my next sentence is the answer.
I won’t respond on this thread again.
I think folks are replying hastily to what I wrote without full comprehension.

          • Amazed says:

You mean what you wrote hastily without comprehension. You talk about these kids as if they simply had the wrong hobby.

Sympathy for those poor misdirected children and hardly any for the guy getting murdered (and murdered in a most gruesome manner at that)

A variation on “I’m not angry, just disappointed”. You’re insance, however you want to spin it.

Do us all a favor and don’t have any kids yourself.

          • Max The Cat says:

Oh shut up Amazed…Take a look around at some of this man’s other comments before you condemn him. You don’t even have enough intelligence to understand what he was trying to say, but you feel qualified to judge him. You dumb jackass.

          • scotarg says:

em..no, I think amazed was correct in that Turtlemania was flipant and, seemingly, without comprehension. Talking about commiting that kind of torture on any other humanbeing, good or bad, is well fucked up. We don’t have to look at his other comments to condemn him either, so yeah, i am judging his views on this particular subject. You got a problem with that Max, you wee fuckin arse licker!??

    11. Penny says:

when i first saw the pic in the beginning, I thought they looked liked my little cousin. Scary what normal looking people can do. Sometimes I loose sight of what a monster can look like. May their crimes haunt them through eternity.

    12. Amy says:

The thing that gets me is how young they are.
      What makes monsters like this?
They are sitting there looking like they got cought with their hand in the cookie jar. They could be the boys next door or the kids at the skate park.
This goes beyond scary. When kids this age are so evil and fucked up it scares the living shit out of me.
      Surely there were warning signs.
And i agree, you have this mental iamge of what an evil person looks like…i would never have imagined it looked like innocent youths out for a game of soccer in the park.
      Scary, scary, scary.

    13. Sean says:

I liked how you said everyone has a image they keep of what a evil person looks like. The most fucked up part is I never see that face. I just see myself. And to the two who made the comments that they should of used there talents to kill the bad guys. They would of just of killed themselves. You must see your own faces when you picture the face of evil too. ” Kinda like a cloud I was up. Way up in the sky, and I was feeling some feelings you wouldn’t believe. Sometimes I don’t believe in myself, and I decided I was never coming down. Just then a tiny little dot caught my eye. It was just a dot. I just wanted to see, and I watched it way to long. It was pulling me down” :)

      • TurtleMania says:

They could have done in bad guys if given the proper guidance.
I will not elaborate on this.

I see myself in these kids because I was the same way. The fact is once you have killed animals, most of the time, the next level is human beings. It made it easier when they did it as a group because of camaraderie. Experiencing this together brought them a tight bond.

Also based on my experience it was an acceptance ritual. You didn’t want to be teased, so you stomach up and do it.

From what I know, it was the curiosity of how something died and it was boredom as well.
It was for thrills. It was for laughter that you share with each other.

The mind only wanted to explore more and more.

“How does this look when it dies?”
        “What noise does it make?”
“In death, will the victim do something funny that we can talk about for ages?”

Things like that rule your conscious.

        • Lindsay's Personal Human Toilet says:

I NEVER knew one kid who killd animals, don’t kid yourself “turtle” you were SCUM and you STILL are SCUM.

          • Amy says:

My son, acting like an ass one day, threw a stone at a duck in the lake down the road. He just happened to throw it in the right place and the duck got knocked the fuck out.
My son SHAT himself. He felt so bad that he was almost ready to start giving the poor thing mouth to mouth.
Not all kids love killing animals.
Most of the kids in our town get their thrills at the skate park or dirt bike track. Those that feel like breaking the law break into toyworld and garage stations to steal lollies and toys. ( theya re such gangsters lol).
Occasionally they will get into a fight and names are called, sides are picked and noses are bloodied. They certainly dont go stabbing each other in the head for a laugh.
These three sicko’s need to die. They are not merely troubled youth…they are evil little fuckers.

No he is a bad monkey and needs a regular spanking ;)

        • Lewl says:

Turtle you are FUCKED in the head man.

No, “How does this look when it dies” and “What sounds does it make as its dying” does NOT rule people’s conscious. Don’t kid yourself, normal people do not think about shit like this.

I wish the webmaster had some way to find you as a threat and have you looked at by local authorities. You are one scary mother fucker.

          • Max The Cat says:

If you knew Turtle as well as some of us do, you wouldn’t be so quick to judge him Lewl. I love animals man, I have 9 Cats myself, but I also know what it’s like to have a dark past, and a little bit about the courage a person needs to have to admit things like animal killing to a bunch of friends. Think about that for a minute dude. Think about what Turtle said about peer pressure and the power of the group. I also feel like you may have misunderstood what TM meant in the last sentence; things like that DO rule your conscience…it’s called guilt.

        • hahalol says:

yay for turtle watching too much dexter.
Its not that clever to kill things ,
but it can teach you alot about yourself, only if you refuse to objectify whatever it is your are wasting , or better make use of what’s left..
every one of you is responsible for so many deaths, it would break your heart for some one to kill your pet.. but that is a tasty burger.. and nice shoes… etc..
the lack of empathy is what allows these acts to be committed. and we all have to be capable of this to some extent in order to function as people.
..what it is to be human.. tricky buggers

        • scotarg says:

Apologies to Turtlemania! Sorry, i thought you were just some misguided arsehole with shit for brains. Turns out your a sadistic wee bastard aswell! I think you should turn off Dexter until you grow up and realise that it’s just a (clever and good) tv show and most people don’t think like that in real life! Nobody missed your point the first time, about killing bad people instead of innocents, and we can all see that you need to get out and about in the real world, pal. Yes, a morbid fascination of death might be part of being human but most of us can condure up our imagination to answer these innate wonders, without going out and killing animals or humans. Your not some mysterious deep enigma with a seriously high iq, your a silly little man with a small penis!( thats just a guess). LOL

    14. Kathy says:

It’s hard to imagine one young person being evil enough to torture innocent people to death–but to think there were three people screwed up enough to do this together is unfathomably scary. Does anyone know over what time period they killed the 21 people, and how it is they weren’t caught after the first few victims? There was no vote for this one, but I’ll offer my vote for them to go to hell anyway.

This took place from 2005 through 2007. I believe they got away with it for so long because no one thought children could commit such horrible crimes, not even their own parents

      • elamona says:

how can the police catch a killer just kills for fun picking victims randomly? no witnesses, no fingerprints, no tie between victims and killers etc.

i also wonder how they are caught

      • Sabala says:

Their killing spree DIDN’T last an entire year, but only a month. There was a three day period where two bodies were discovered PER DAY, and among their victims was 14 year old. The dates I’ve gotten were June 2007 to July 2007, them being apprehended July 23rd.

    15. Mike says:

Well, I watched the video. I’ve seen countless videos of people being killed but, I have to say, that was probably the sickest and most disturbing one I’ve ever come across.

    16. Mr Jay says:

      I came

    17. Lulz says:

I saw this video somewhere before, and laughed. I’ve seen sooo much worse.

    18. Zare says:

They got away with it for so long because the victims were random. This is why serial killers are so difficult to catch. They don’t kill someone close to them, someone who can be traced to them. Their victims are presented by opportunity, by chance. Look at how long Bundy or Gary Ridgway killed.

I went to the video. I covered my eyes. I couldn’t watch it. I did think that all the people who love the Saw movies will love the video.

      • DesRod says:

No, when you know its real thats totally different (unless your really fucked up). I cant get that sinking feeling out of my stomach. That video is awful, they deserve a long, slow death and guilt……Then they can burn in hell.

      • Danielle says:

I loved the Saw movies, but didn’t love this video. It’s one thing to see people PRETENDING to die horrible deaths, no matter how gruesome it is, and be excited about the horror of it, when you know that they’re only actors–they were probably giggling in their fake blood and complaining about bees coming after them if it’s outside and the fake blood is sugar based (happened to me once doing an extra in a horror movie), and mugging for bloody pictures, then taking a shower and going home to their families.

It’s not anything like that when you know that the person you saw experienced actual suffering and couldn’t go home to anybody after it was all over because they experienced horrible agony and then died.

It helped that the poor guy seemed to be blackout drunk. I’m hoping that the stuff he did was just reflexive and he wasn’t actually conscious for most of it.

        • Sabala says:

He was said to be drifting in and out of consciousness. He was recently released from the hospital, recovering from throat cancer. His name was Sergei Yatzenko, aged 48.

    19. JustaGirl says:

Im sorry, but I love horror films, and theres no way Im going to watch this. I felt sick just reading about it. How can someone watch this and say theyve “seen worse”. Im utterly appalled at the lack of humanity some people display at times.

I’m so comfortable here, I’m likely to blurt out things.
I’ll be more “guarded” as a lot of the folks here are uneasy with the macabre.

I don’t want to chase away our readers.

          • Max The Cat says:

Gaffe away my brother turtle, IMHO you’re one of the most valuable assets this group has. You were here before I was, and as much as anyone you give PYSIH it personality. So when I don’t get something you say, I figure the fault lies with me and not you. For those of you who might find one of his comments macabre or disturbing I recommend you do a little research and read some of his back comments, just to see what kind of a man he really is. You’ll find, as most of us already know, that Turtle is a good man, one of the best, who cares about every victim that gets written about. He also possess a wit as sharp as the edge of a razor blade and an intelligence to match. His sense of humor has been an endless source of amusement to me since day one. If one of you were to misinterpret one of turtle’s jokes, and think he’s gone over to the darks side, so to speak, I promise you that you couldn’t be farther from the truth. Please, take this from someone who knows him as well as anyone on this website; he’s a stand-up guy with a heart for all the victims, especially children, and a vicious sense of humor that can leave you cut and bloody if you mess with him, and rolling on the floor laughing if you’re smart enough to understand him.

“I did think that all the people who love the Saw movies will love the video.”

      wow, what a stupid comment!

      1. Saw is a movie about a man that is trying to change peoples respect of life (no matter how wrong the means may be)

      2. this is real. even out of curiosity, 99% of the people that DO end up watching his, is only watching out of curiosity, not to get off and 98% wont be able to finish it nor would want to.

    21. Gambler says:

Good video, good translation, good Article. Thanks for posting

    22. Amanda says:

Of all the things I have read on this site and felt that it was sick and depraved, This is the worst for me. To think that they did this to children. That is what me sick. That poor man. Them people. I couldn’t imagine watching my child do something so vicious and still defending them.

    23. Tress says:

Oh. My. God. I didn’t make it past the part where they zoomed in on the victims face and stomach as he was gasping for air in the vid. I couldn’t watch anymore. This is absolutely sick and I feel like I’m going to vomit. I’ve never seen anything so brutal in my life.

    24. kelli says:

this is the worst thing I have ever seen. I thought I had a pretty strong stomach, but I guess I was wrong. Some things you just can’t unsee…

      • Amy says:

I know what my reaction will be, so i wont even attempt to watch it.
And all your reactions have made me glad i made that call.

        • kelli says:

yeah Amy – good call. I wouldn’t recommend watching it. I only got through part of it and I had to turn it off. It literally made me feel nauseous. Does anyone know anything about any of their victims? Who they were, etc

What the hell were you expecting? It’s like buying a porn DVD and crying,”OMG the people were naked!”

Hence why I did NOT see it!

    25. Formorian says:

Very Brutal way to go out….those sick little fuckers need to be disposed of, and quickly. Very rare to actually see a killing like that on video, other than the beheading videos courtesy of the peace loving muslims. just how long will it take for humans to stop behaving worse than animals? 1000, 2000 years maybe?

    26. Lindsay's Personal Human Toilet says:

Too bad they didn’t kill Perez “Don’t Call Me Mario Lavenderia” Hilton then I would watch the clip seeing hate-monger Perez get murdered would be pretty sweet!

    27. Sean says:

Torturing and killing people for fun is not the same as being able to stomach killing a bad person/enemy as a vigilante. They did not kill because they could. They killed to express there overwhelming hate for life they must of shared. The killing did not seem to be the part that mattered to them. The look what we can do factor, and selfish hate seems to be they’re thing.

    28. Matt F says:

I sat through all of it last night. It was definitely hard to watch, unbelievably savage and brutal. I’ve seen two of those Iraq beheading videos and, to me, this was far worse. At least the beheadings are relatively quick.
The victim was conscious during most of it. He feebly tried to stop the guy who was plunging the screwdriver into his destroyed face. Fuck.

The only consolation is the knowledge that these tender-looking boys will be annihilated in prison. All that awaits them for the remainder of their life is an endless loop of suffering and pain.

    29. dooflotchie says:

I dunno how, but I did manage to watch that without puking. Only just barely, that is, it was a very near thing.

Calling those little bastards vermin is an insult to a cockroach but damn…they need to be killed soon. The less time they spend on this planet drinking our water and breathing our air the better. Too bad I’m not the one to mete out their punishment. It would involve IV fluids, Pavulon and lots of different instruments, both blunt and sharp.

      Matt F said:

      • Missy says:

      • Singe says:

The opening to the amazingly well written sci-fi novel “Consider Phlebas” features a medieval execution resembling that suggested here. A man is chained up in a dungeon to which the overhead castle’s numerous lavatories all empty into. The room slowly fills up.

    32. Grey says:

I have a high will power. I’ve seen some things and heard of things that haven’t really evoked the kind of emotion it should have. This, did it. I refused to get through the video. However, I thought the beheading of Eugene Armstrong was worse Either way, this video and others like it are good tools to use when considering the actual value of human life. The next time you hear about a murder, you’ll relate to this, and it will become much more emotional. We as humans need to try our best to avoid reaching a level of personality where we can perform such acts. I do, however disagree with many of you saying that these cretins should die. That doesn’t solve anything accept continuing the cycle of death. They should be made to live with knowing they performed this to people. They’ll suffer enough in hell, if such a place exists. However, killing them only brings us one step closer to them. Would any of you want to know you had something in common with these children? Probably not. If you decided to let them die by means of justice, then you should realize that you are passing the judgment of death upon a person, the same as they did.

      • Tress says:

Well said. Our society is becoming too numb to stories like these. You read about murders every day, and then an hour later, you forget about it. But when you actually have a video, when you can actually see just how brutal a murder can be, its compeletly different. It’s sad that murders, rapings, kidnappings, etc. don’t shock us anymore.

These “men” killed so many… but how can you post information like this without telling me anything about that victim who probably had loves and hates and family and struggles and anger and hopes and blah blah blah….? can we name THIS MAN? Because when i see these boys in hell i want to know THAT MAN (and 20 other’s) name.

“If you decided to let them die by means of justice, then you should realize that you are passing the judgment of death upon a person, the same as they did.”

It’s not the same. Not at all. I’m passing the judgement of death upon three vile murderers who no longer deserve to keep their lives, not three random innocent strangers of my choosing. Not three people to be killed for fun, like they did.

These three don’t deserve to live another day. No time spent gloating over what they did, no time to brag and enjoy their “memories”, no time imagining how others fear them. They should be put in a place where they will never be paroled, they can never escape and they spend eternity in darkness, never to see the light of day again.

They were just barely out of their teen years, a time when most people that age are just thinking of choosing a career and starting out their adult lives, these three were instead torturing and murdering FOR FUN.

They need to gain a firsthand understanding of the suffering their victims went through before they are put in their own graves.

    52. Javi says:

YES, remove it, it kills a bit of your humanity when you watch things like this.
They deserve to die a thousand times, shit human beings like that they never recover and they never pay enough for what they did, society doesn`t need them, the world doesn`t need them, they`re a total hazard to all of us. They`re a mistake of nature, sick fucking shit!

      • TurtleMania says:

Yes to remove it from our page.

I’m sure the victims don’t want to be remembered gurgling, gasping for air and crying. I’m sure they don’t want to be remembered with half a face or their guts hanging out.

I know this evil. And this evil wants all to see its carnage so that it goes down in the record books.
Another reason I think we need to take it down is because we certainly do not want copycats or folks trying to best the video with their own presentation.

We are PYSIH. We aren’t those other gory websites that have video stream of domestic animal killings, self-inflicted razor blade cutting, and suicides etc.

You know, I love the traffic we have and the attention but don’t like us because of the video.
We are sooo much more than a gory video.

I’ve always been a fan of the victims…the innocent. Now, had this been a video of a POSbag getting dealt pain, then no problem. Let’s make popcorn.

But these victims need to finally rest in peace.

I watched the video after hearing Jim Norton talk about it on the Opie and Anthony show. When I watched it, it was on mute because I heard that the audio is terrifying.

I wonder how the video made its way to the internet(or why?).

The video starts with the man just lying in what appears to be a wooded area, with some sort of box on his stomach. You can see that he has already been attacked, as his head has a gash on it and blood around the area, and he’s attempting to sit up but can’t.

One of the kids then take a hammer that is wrapped in some sort of plastic, and the mans face goes from almost normal to completely unrecognizable. His face just looks like minced meat, and there is blood spewing from his mouth and pooling in eye area.(This is the worst part of the video, if you can say that any one part is less worse than the other.)

The kid then stops for a minute and the camera man zooms in on the mans face at this point you think, they’re done. No. Not even close. The kid then takes a screwdriver and starts stabbing the man in the stomach. Then the camera man takes the screwdriver and does the same. The camera man stabs him at least 20 times. The man is then stabbed in the eyes, and moves his arm(which proves through all this he is still conscious).

After all this one of the kids then takes the hammer and bashes the man in the face again a few times, followed by gouging his eye out with the claw of the hammer.

The kids then go out of the woods to their SUV and take out water to wash off the hammer and one kid washes his face. Video ends.

Don’t watch this. You will cause irreversible damage to yourself. You’ll waste a few memory cells, that you could use for… well… anything else.

That said – I vote NO on removing the link.

If people want to see it, they’ll watch it. Most, will not be able to get thru the first minute. I for one, have no desire to see anything further.

Removing the link from this post would be pointless. It won’t remove the video from the internet – It will still be available for anyone to see.

    63. Kenny says:

I vote to keep the video…I think it’s an important piece of documentation…wether you watch it or not, it’s important to see evil so it’s recognized, which is what makes this site so unique.

    64. Anonymous in PA says:

One other point…if you glorify these soulless shits in the eyes of just one person, that is one too many.

    65. Anonymous214284 says:

    66. Bubbles says:

I’m as morbid as the next person (probably why I wind up on this site day after day), but this goes beyond morbid curiosity and ventures in to psychotic voyeurism.

The events in this video should never have taken place. The video should never have been recorded. These boys should never have been so fucked up.

None of that can be changed now, but at least we can stop this right now. So YES – please remove this link.

    67. Bubbles says:

Also! Why on earth to we need to desensitize ourselves to this? Watch enough of these sorts of ’snuff’ films and I’m sure that eventually it wouldn’t be so hard to stomach.

This isn’t about censorship. It’s about human compassion.

            http://www.amazon.com/Killing-Culture-Creation-Cinema-Collection/dp/1871592208

          • Bill says:

Snuff can be used in the way you used it. The traditional use of the word does mean “The filming of the death of another person in a sexual manner, with the intention of sale.”

But, since then the word has changes and so has the definition. You can debate this all day, but, It can be used in both ways, and people will understand what you mean. And only a few of em ^^ will actually say anything about it.

    68. Tito says:

I say you should remove the video….it seems disturbing enough by the transcript alone. If people wish to view the video bad enough, I’m sure it will be around somewhere else on the Internet anyway.

    69. Tress says:

      Vote No!

Don’t take it down. People do not HAVE To click on it if they dont want to. I think you should keep it up because it puts emotion back into a murder story. Everyone isnt so numb to this one. Besides, anybody can go to documentingreality.com and watch it.

    70. Amy says:

YES. These three animals want us to see it. They want infamy. They want everyone talking about their little snuff movie. Why play inot their hands? And as someone else noted, what about respect for the victim and his family?

    71. candice. says:

      Vote YES.

If someone really wanted to watch this shit they’d be able to find it somewhere else. But I think PYSIH shouldn’t glamorize it.

    72. randomer says:

Sick…just sick. The part where the cameraman is stabbing the screwdriver over and over into what’s left of the guy’s eyes and face, and he manages to move his arm up to shield his face…just wow. How can they sleep at night.

I’m not a regular here, so I’m not going to vote on whether this stays up, but I would suggest that it should. We shouldn’t forget what evil people are capable of, and although this video would no doubt be extremely distressing to this poor man’s family and friends, I think they’d want it to stay up just to show the world. I know I would, if such a thing happened to someone I care about, god forbid.

Even if it is removed from here, this video will be available in less..savory places on the internet. Surely it’s better for people to see it here along with the largely sensitive comments here condemning the attack, than on some awful site where the comments may not be quite so critical.

    73. ugh says:

Well, I watched some horrible videos (beheadings, traffic accident aftermath, etc) on the internet, and this is the first ever that I didn’t have the balls to watch. I’d vote Yes to removing it.

      • TurtleMania says:

If they wanna see it, go somewhere else to see it.

We don’t need their shitty video here.
Are we gonna sell out to those poor victims because we want ratings?

        • Amy says:

YOur right Turtle. I think PYSIH has more class than that. We are not some nasty snuff movie site. We may not be perfect, but we are better than that.

        • stormy weathers says:

Are we gonna sell out to those poor victims because we want ratings?.

Dude this site is all about selling out poor victims for ratings man.

IT’S THE NATURE OF THE BEAST

          • Amy says:

Ok, so we are all about talking about crime…agreed, but come on theres gotta be limits.

          • stormy weathers says:

This is documenting the event and the background…..i mean their is ample warning on this site and the host site that you really should not watch the video.

I mean after watching this i found a shit load more empathy for the victim than usual.

as for the glorifying of the little pricks that did this i think the opposite is true…….it just showed what an ugly act it was, totally cowardly and repugnant.

this does not glamorise murder…..if anything it has put off the idea of killing people

          • Kimi says:

I agree with Stormy. Sheesh. This site is FAMOUS because of its morbid stories about HUMAN SUFFERING. How does one justify on a site such as this that something is too brutal or morbid to post? Suddenly people start screaming that something is just too horrible? Its a TRUE story! We can sit here day after day and read about children being beaten to death / raped and tortured by their own parents (and observe their autopsy photos!) and no one complains! It truly concerns me that people yell and scream about this….but not the beating pictures of a dead child.

To me it is all pretty simple….People do not have to watch the video if they do not want to. People do not have to come to this site if they do not want to.

I would just recommend to people that some of the content here is explicit and can be disturbing…but the choice of participating should always be theirs to make.

Low and behold…..we always end up coming back :)

    74. Megan says:

It sickens me to think that they did this to 20 other people, including women and children…how they ever slept at night is beyond me…

    75. YoMomma says:

      NO! Do not censor!

We should have the right to watch if we want and not watch if we don’t! I’m tired of people trying to tell others what they can and cannot watch! If the movie was already streaming, I would understand the complaint, but it’s not! You have to click on the link to watch it! The warning the editor provides is all the labeling we need so stop your senseless whining!

If the video is removed I will post it in the comments section for those that would like to watch it, although I myself have not and will not. I will not suffocate your curiosity.

      • YoMomma says:

People are talking about the compassion of humanity and how we should take the movie down to respect the dead man. If anything, I think that is a great reason to keep it up. Because of this video, the man did not die in vain. He cemented their lives through this film, showing the lack of compassion these children had, how they knowingly performed this act, and it gives us a chance to look through this and figure out what went wrong. We can ruminate once seeing humanity at its worst and ensure that something like this will never happen again… Or at least have some foundation of knowledge to prevent it. I am at times an overwhelmingly emotional person and it is through these emotions that I can really explore myself- and humanity- and figure out what it all means, or how I can help in some way, or what I can do to prevent things from happening in the future.

This film is grotesque, yes, but it also offers insight into humanity in a way you may not explore otherwise.

        • Amy says:

And what about all the whack jobs that will sit around with a hard on watching it, or the ones who aspire to be like The Dnepropetrovsk maniacs. I just dont feel right about giving the sicko’s more to fantasize about at night.

          • YoMomma says:

            “All the whack jobs?”

They’re whack jobs, who cares? Plus, any true whack job already knows a million and one underground sites, probably with stuff even more gruesome than this, that wouldn’t even consider PYSIH as a legitimate site.

To get rid of the video in fear of people turning into them is ridiculous. Let’s also get rid of a lot of rap CD’s so people don’t become drug addicts. Lets get rid of Mark Twain books so people wont become racist. Better yet, lets make it so schools can’t read Harry Potter because magic goes against Christianity (actually happened in my high school). The idea of censorship to prevent people from doing wrong acts is tyrannical! I am a Neuropsychology major at Notre Dame and I can tell you that the sick fucks who do this kind of stuff have a biological/ psychological predisposition for this stuff and that showing this or listening to Marilyn Manson is not going to make you shoot up a school or kill people with sledgehammers and screwdrivers! The idea of it is absolutely ludicrous!

          • stormy weathers says:

for someone with a name like YoMomma your a very clever man

          • Amy says:

I would hardly put 50 cent and Eminem in the same category as murduring swine.
Were are talking about a man being brutally slaughtered and putting it on the net for all to see.
This is not Entertainment Tonight, nor is it an underground snuff site.
If this is the direction that the editor and admin want the site to take, then that is totally their decision. And i will respect whatever they decide. But its not something i would want to be known for.
As for your credentials, they make no difference to me at all.
I never said that people would suddenly go out and start killing because of this video. Neither did i say that sick fucks didnt already have a biological/psychological disposition for killing.( being a simple mother/housewife does not make me stupid) I just dont know why we need to provide them with entertainment.

          • YoMomma says:

No, which is why I didn’t say “get rid of rap CD’s so people won’t kill each other.” I said so they wont become drug addicts. And I’m tired of you throwing around “underground snuff site.” First off PYSIH is not underground. Secondly, they don’t offer snuff films, they show one film that coincides with a story about people that we will see in Hell, providing it exists.

Thank you for tossing out your credentials after saying that you don’t care for mine. It shows just how smart of a mother and housewife you are, so thank-you for that. Especially since I in no way called you stupid or inferred that you were stupid.

Also, I don’t see this as providing entertainment, as you can tell from my previous posts. It offers education through a graphic case study of sorts. Also, to assume that we are offering them (sick fucks) entertainment is again to negate that they already have other sources for this material, which is much more graphic than this even.

          • Amy says:

It offers education? What is it im going to learn from watching this video? That my vomit can be both yellow and green? That i dont like watching innocent people being murdured?
We can learn all we need to about the event from the transcript provided.
And the only time i mentioned the term ‘underground snuff films’ was in my last post. I dont think that is ‘throwing the term around.’
Whether or not the sicko’s of the world have other sources for this type of material is not the issue. The issue is, do we want to give them another one?

          • YoMomma says:

Amy, do you even read my posts or do you just read fragments to gets the gist of it? I already told you what was to be learned from this video and I am not about to waste my time typing it out again.

Here, I’ll copy and paste it to save you time…

“Because of this video, the man did not die in vain.

This film is grotesque, yes, but it also offers insight into humanity in a way you may not explore otherwise.”

PS-If you really have run out of arguments for taking the movie down, that’s fine. But reiterating the same ideas over and over again is making this mundane. I don’t have anything else to offer as to why it should stay up, and I’m not about to keep copy-pasting my previous posts to keep answering to your arguments.

So to outline one last time… This video offers insight (knowledge) in a way we may not otherwise obtain it. This video also does not fuel the fire of many sickos out there. If you disagree, that is fine, but quit acting like I haven’t already addressed these damn issues!

          • Amy says:

Yeah, i read the first line, and then the last and say ,’fuck the bits inbetween!” Of course i read the entire content of your posts.
Im not saying that your comments are not valid. But mine are valid too.
Do you really think that you need to watch this film to know that what happened was humanity at it worst? Me, i read the story and got a pretty good mental picture of what happened, and i can gauge from that alone that something needs to be done to stop something like this from ever happening again.
Most of the poeple watching the film are not watching it for educational purposes. Some will watch it out of morbid curiosity. Some because they get off on watching sick shit. There will be others who will view it for the insight into the event….ect, ect…
Id say that those watching for the insight are in the minority.

          • YoMomma says:

Then I would say that is where we differ. I feel that more people would be watching it for insight than to “get off” since I would like to believe that the sickos are the minority, not people like us. But either way, I don’t think we should stifle those that do want to view it for the right reasons.

Also, while the written dialogue does it’s job, that video offers the shock value needed to leave a permanent impression. If you read about the holocaust, would it be as memorable as reading about it, seeing the pictures, and also watching the videos? Hell no. And while that is true, those pictures and films of the holocaust are not making people want to start another one. Of course there is that minority that would love to see Hitler rise again and strike out against the Jews, Roma, and Slovaks, but if anything, I think the pictures offer cruel insight to the suffering that those people were put through and can even deter people from following in Hitler’s shoes. People may read Mein Kampf and feel inspired, but then view the pictures of starving Jewish children in the streets of the Lodz ghetto and say “You know what? Fuck that!” And I’m sure people had qualms about showing video and pictures about those that have died during the holocaust, but their stories, those videos, and pictures have helped get their story across in a way that newspaper and books just couldn’t.

If you really want to know an interesting fact, during the Holocaust Jan Karski was bringing over all kinds of information to the Western World about the Holocaust and it was even being published in newspapers! But it was not until he was finally able to smuggle over pictures and film that the public really took action! To deceive apathy, people must be able to see what happens with their own eyes.

Amy, if anything, we should applaud you and anyone like you who does not have to watch the video to understand the true cruelty portrayed within. But in a time a apathy, it almost seems necessary for people to open their eyes and to get a point across.

          • Amy says:

Ok i get what your saying loud and clear. And i understand. I remember seeing films and pics of the holocost as a child. And it is something that i will never forget.
When it comes to the subject of this film being shown on this site, i think we are just going to have to agree to disagree. I may like my daily dose of evil…but in a small dose please!

          • YoMomma says:

            Haha. Gotcha ;-)

          • Amy says:

            Yeah, yeah…*rolls eyes*…;)

          • Kimi says:

Man Yo Mama….you are GOOOOOD. Hope you plan on sticking around for a good long time. I love it. :) Love Amy’s heart too….and her writing skills. I LOVE THIS SITE.

          • YoMomma says:

Aww, thanks, Kimi! That’s really sweet.

      • Mulch says:

        @YoMomma

Its not about censorship at all. It’s about values and morals. What is right and wrong.

If it was an issue of censorship then this site as well as the entire internet would not exist.

I watched the vid. Disgusting. Sick and evil. But then again I have seen others. I have no idea why I do but I do. After 2 combat tours one would think I would not want to watch that shit. But I’m just wierd that way.

      • eternal says:

to be crucified. this post hasn’t even brought out the usual amount of wackjobs. are you new? if so, you’ll see it soon enough.

        • YoMomma says:

I’m not new to the site… New to commenting though. I don’t mind, they can bash what I say all they want, my argument is still legitimate no matter how they try to break it down.

          • eternal says:

yes, but so is amy’s. i happen to agree with her 100% but i can’t add anything to the argument (about why the vid should come down) that hasn’t already been said.

          • YoMomma says:

I’m not saying Amy’s isn’t legitimate as well; I think we both have legitimate arguments, it just depends on life experience where you fall on the spectrum. We just so happen to be polar opposites. I’m just saying that since I know my argument is legitimate, I’m not going to have hard feelings about people trying to tear it down.

    78. sickboy says:

Thats it? Thats what everyone is apeshit about? Come on people… There is sicker shit happening every day

    79. Lena says:

Whoa this is a very good debate! I had my mind made up, BUT I keep swaying back and forth. Everyone has good points. I am curious as to what the motivations were to put the video up up in the first place?

    80. Penny says:

I watched the entire video, and I have to say I wasn’t fazed. I care about other people, but for some reason I felt as if it were an internet scam. It just didn’t seem real. Maybe because they can make anything look real now days. Felt like I was watching a bad movie. It was very hard for me to relate the victims to real life. To tell you the truth I was actually more taken back by the picture with the dead dog. Not surprising though. All growing up when I watched a movie if a person died, I didn’t care, but let an animal die and I was in tears, and I am not a crying person. Usually I only cry when I want to guilt some one into something. Hopefully that didn’t come out to shitty, I am just being honest.

    81. Kemper says:

Remove the video, leave it, whatever. Once something is on the internet its near impossible to exterminate it, so you can always look for another site that has it. I personally think it should be left here, because sick as the video is, its not right to shield the world from reality at its worst. These things still happen, wether you want to feign ignorance or not.

I have seen all manner of gore through the internet, and the decapitation videos others mention don’t phase me a bit. I haven’t seen all of them simply because after 5 or so they become monotonous (aren’t I a bastard?). I admit though, this on the other hand, is incredibly gruesome and dragged out, not to mention that the victim is some random innoccent fellow who had a family and a life of his own. I would SERIOUSLY not recommend any but the bravest to try watching the video, unless you can distance yourself from the human aspect of this and see the victim as just a stubborn piece of meat. But regardless of wether or not your brain will be somehow scarred by the film, theres no reason to try and make it go away. Just don’t watch it. Read about it if you must, then go pray to your god and sit on the couch and wank with your bible until you feel better. I know that the world is not always a happy shiny little paradise, and I like knowing that.

Its not like this is happening more and more in this day and age. “what is the world coming to?” What the hell do you mean? Sure, they’re teenagers with no real motive, but man brutally murduring his fellow man has existed ages before internet or video were invented. Its just a rare oppertunity to see this depravity front row. Murder isn’t becoming a trend just because videos of it surface on the internet.

I don’t know what I’m really trying to say… Just exercise your self control damn it, don’t watch the video if you’re afraid. But don’t try and stop those curious from seeing it. Its alright for it to ruin your day, but don’t let it ruin your life. This kind of thing happens wether you like it or not.

      -your friendly internet stranger

    82. TurtleMania says:

I don’t know what all the fuss is about.
Keep it on the Internet but not here.
      That’s the bottom line.

      • Bill says:

From what i gather, this situation is a first for PYSIH.com. It seems normally the posts on this site just has an article and a few photos(non-graphic) and sometimes a personal statement from the editor(Unless i missed something.) And its a F’N video of a man being murdered(lets not forget that).

        You’re gonna get some fuss.

        • Amy says:

Its not really a new thing, and i have been thinking about this all day and feeling like a big hypocrite. In the Maine Ngati and Teusila Fa’asisillis story i used an autopsy picture of a child.
I used the photo to get across just how badly beaten this child had been. It was something that only the photo could show.
And here i am now saying that this film should not be posted on this site.
Can ya see where im heading? I am guilty of having double standards.
If i could go back, and change things so that i didnt include the photo, i wouldnt. The photo was a necessasary part of the story. Im not going to change my vote from yes to no. What i am going to do id not vote at all. Max did a great write up, as he usually does, and at the time he posted this story he felt that the link to the film was an important part of the story. And i trust Max. I know that whatever he chooses to do will be the right thing, and ill support that no matter what. But you still wont catch me watching the video.

          • TurtleMania says:

But the vid shows them in the act.
The act was a dance between the victim and the young assholes. Why do we need to share in the dance?

            The picture…just a picture.

          • TurtleMania says:

“and ill support that no matter what.”

Wish I could say the same.
I will respect their decision either way.
But I won’t support the one other than taking it off this page.
I’m fighting for my survival here. That’s why I’m campaigning so hard.

          • Amy says:

Turtle, i honestly think that Max will do the right thing. If im wrong…well im wrong. But i have faith:)

          • Anonymous in PA says:

I will not watch the video. Partially because it seems like the wrong thing to do, but mostly so I might have a chance in hell of sleeping ever again. I’m way too sensitive for this sort of thing.

Like one of the above commenters said, the internet is forever, it’s already out there. But I don’t want or need to see it. I’m glad it didn’t immediatly play when I clicked on the story, or I would have gone straight back to the gossip blogs about Spencer and Heidi.

    84. Anonymous in PA says:

Do people who want to keep the link think that it’s their right to satisfy their morbid curiosity (and let’s hope that’s all it is)? Well, this isn’t about you or us, it’s about showing respect for that victim and his family as well as all of the other victims and their families who we’re victimized by those creeps.

I don’t need to see the video to feel empathy for the victims. If that’s what it takes for some people to feel anything, I question whether they are capable of feeling empathy at all.

This video should have been destroyed and I wonder how it ever ended up on the internet at all. I guess it all comes down to what the principles of this site’s admins are…

      • Kemper says:

I want to see the second video, personally. For me even, they are painful to watch (mainly due to the circumstances of their killings) but its rare that you get such an incredible view of what the killers you read about and see are capable of, and how emotionally distant they can be from what they’re doing.
Its something that is seldom seen, and my curiosity is too damn strong for my own good, lol.

I don’t like watching this particular video, but it still interesting to be able to see the killers in the act.

      • YoMomma says:

He, please don’t post if you’re not going to read posts before yours. I stated that it’s more than a morbid curiosity, and that in reality, it goes beyond respect for the dead man because he did not die in vain. I’m not full of myself, and I don’t feel that comment was directed at me. I do however fell that your comment negated things that I have said earlier in this thread, and I have the right to defend that. I am not about to get into a pissing fight with you, I just think it would be nice if you didn’t blindly throw yourself into things, completely negating things that were said before you (Mine, Amy’s, Turtle’s, and everyone like), hence making ignorant statements that other people have already answered to. • Anonymous in PA says:

Thank you for that. And you hit the nail on the head (no pun intended…lol)…her posts were very long and I just skimmed them…

          • YoMomma says:

They are entitled to their beliefs… But when they expect to be heard, when they’re not listening to others? That’s just outlandish. It’s just getting redundant having people come in saying the same thing over and over again because they’re not taking the time to see if what they’ve said has already been said before.

I don’t care if “lazy posters” is insulting; that’s what they are being.

          • Amy says:

So you expect every single person who visits this site to read each and every comment from the top of the list to the bottom before they post anything at all? And if you or someone else has already made a point, then noone else has the right to voice theirs even if it is the same, without being called lazy?
You may not want to hear what they have to say, but please dont think that you can make that call for everyone on this site.

          • YoMomma says:

No, Amy, that’s not what I am saying at all. I think it’s stupid to throw yourself in the middle of a debate without seeing what has already been covered. If you’re not going to read the posts, obviously you don’t care to be enlightened anyways, so why even try to converse with other people? I mean, my post about the Holocaust was the one that kind of caught you but if someone else didn’t read it, they’re not going to have the same appreciation for what we’ve been talking about. By not reading the posts, you don’t care to see both sides, so when you post, you’re taking a step back from the progress both sides has made to see eye to eye. It’s as simple as that.

And I’m also not saying people shouldn’t be heard. If you have something to say; say it. But don’t throw yourself into a debate if you don’t know what’s going on. If someone has said something you agree with, rather than posting the whole thing again, just say “Yeah, I agree” or as stormy did “amen.” Now, if you agree with someone and also have a new way to look at it or something interesting to contribute, that’s fine too. But this guy said the same thing I’ve seen in at least three other posts, and I’ve already answered to those ideas. So, why take a step back, and put forth the same question when it has already been answered and you just neglect to read what others have to say?

          • YoMomma says:

Oh, and you of all people should know I don’t mind a differing opinion. I respected yours and everyone else’s and only said what was relevant to the issue.

          • Amy says:

I just dont think there is a need to be calling people ’stupid’ and ‘lazy’ because they dont post in the manner that you think they should.

          • YoMomma says:

Hey, I just call it as I see it.

    85. Bubbles says:

“the internet is forever….it’s already out there”

That attitude is too defeatist for my liking. It’s like saying that all the other kids are doing it. Not great logic in my mind.

      • YoMomma says:

I googled the Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs just to see how easy it is to get the film… Yeah, it’s not because most sites wont carry it. If I didn’t have the link up there, I would probably never find it. So “It’s on the internet forever” is kind of irrelevant too, if you don’t have access to it.

        • Bubbles says:

Even though it seems like you and I have very differing opinions on this Yomama, I have to say I respect your insight and the way in which you express your beliefs.

I don’t agree with them all, but you make a good argument anyway.

    86. Kathy says:

I have a question for Turtlemania and a question for Penny. Turtlemania, earlier on you wrote: “They have a video? I’m jealous. I appreciate their enthusiasm, but it was aimed at innocents and that’s not good.” But now you’re dead-set against the video remaining on this site. Did you have a change of heart in your views? Penny, in other discussions you come across as a very spiritual and pro-life person. Yet in this discussion, you write that you were more taken back by the picture with the dead dog than the dead victim, and that while growing up, if you watched a movie in which a person died, you didn’t care, but let an animal die and you’d be in tears. I was wondering why you are so affected by abortion but don’t seem affected by the torturing to death of an adult? If these questions are too personal or intrusive then I apologize, and no need for you to respond. I’m really honestly just curious. Regarding the vote, I see both sides of the issue. I think that if parents watch this video, then maybe they will spend more time with their children, teach them how to be compassionate, and if their children seem incapable of empathy, get them help early on. On the other hand, I’m concerned that children or disturbed people might view this video and it might impact them in a very negative way or further de-sensitize them to violence. The vicim’s family have probably already been given the option to view the video by the courts, and if they have chosen not to view it would probably not even come to a site such as this. Still, the existence of this video serves as a hurtful reminder to them. Regarding the 3 monsters who made this video relishing the fact that people are watching it–I’m assuming they’re in jail and do not have internet access, so this may be a moot point. So I’m sitting on the fence with regard to voting yes or no. BTW, I have not watched the video, nor do I intend to.

      • Penny says:

@Kathy- Like I said, I don’t feel compassion for fictional humans, and when I watched it, I felt like it was not real. I do care alot for actual humans, but because of modern technology, I have a hard time feeling like any thing I see on the internet is reality. Not that I think the video is made up, just when I watched it didn’t feel real to me. I hate what happened to those people, but the lack of personal refrence(ie their names, stories, families) to the victims made it hard for me to see them as actual human beings. I hope you can see my point. I don’t know why fictional animals bother me so bad, I’ve just always been that way.

My relatives treatment towards animals would be consider cruel to some. (Example, shooting the dog because he bit a kid.) Things like that and shooting a deer and gutting it, don’t bother me at all.

Like I said, just being honest. I don’t know why I feel the way I do.

        • Claire says:

I could only watch 10 seconds or so, but then I felt guilty?? I expected to feel repulsed and ashamed to be part of the human race (I MUCH prefer animals, especially at times like this), but not guilt. However, it felt wrong to watch a fellow human being having his life so brutally extinguished. That moment, however it happens, should be private, or at least as private as possible. He was afforded no dignity in death by those despicable things that killed him, and now it seems like he is still being stripped of his dignity in this video.

    87. Kathy says:

Penny, I can understand how a video that violent may not feel real, especially in light of all the made-up violence we see on t-v. Cruelty to animals bothers me, too. Just the thought of watching this video turns my stomach, but I tend to be over-sensitive to violence.

      • Claire says:

I’m rather like Penny in that I could never watch an animal being tortured or killed, or a baby/child, and I’m fervently anti-abortion. I suppose with me, animals, unborn children and babies have NO voice, no way to defend themselves. They depend on us in a way adults don’t, and to hurt them is like a betrayal of the trust they put in us. There is a special duty of care towards them and all vulnerable people…those who have no voice are more defenceless, so when I think of them being hurt it is unbearable.

      • TurtleMania says:

        Kathy,
I like when the bad guys die violently not the good guys.
If it were bad guys we saw tortured, I’d want to leave the video here as a warning to all dickheads. But no, it was innocent folk in that video.
I hope I answered your question.
If you have any other questions, please direct them to Penny. Thanks.

        • Penny says:

What did you put her off on me for?

          • TurtleMania says:

Because you are better versed on these issues. I trust that you know what you’re talking about.

          • Penny says:

What ever, I felt terrible for thinking the way I thought, much less having to explain it to reasonable thinking people. Plus my grammer is terrible. But I’ll take the compliment!

            * I just read your poem on Maine Ngati and Teusila Fa’asisilia page, sweet thoughts. I felt that way, just couldn’t put it into such beautiful words. His case botherd me for a while, mainly because he hadn’t always been treated so badlly, and had his happy life to compare it to. I think that could only make it 100 times worse. *

          • TurtleMania says:

You are one of the greats, Penny. You should give yourself more credit.

I know reality that we may not agree on all things. But that should never divide, but it should influence learning, acceptance, and understanding.

    88. Kim says:

Holy fucking hell. I can NOT believe somebody would actually record something like that much less DO something like that. I’ve seen things like this on TV and in movies, but never the real thing. I’m sick to my stomach right now that a human being could actually do something like to another human being. Maybe these guys are NOT humans after all. The word MONSTER comes to mind. ugh. I guess nobody is safe any more, anywhere. :(

    89. Max The Cat says:

I need to make a couple of things clear here about my decision to use this video. I really had only on reason for making it available, and no, it wasn’t the shock value, or the gross-out affect, or even just to get some attention. It just seems to me I can use my talent for writing to describe what these three little sons of bitches did to 21 innocent people, or I can show it to you. I admit it’s extremely disturbing; I had to watch it in two doses the first time, but I’ve watched it twice since looking for certain details, and I’ve reached my limit. My point is the story will lose something important without the choice of watching the video available. Those who read it without watching the clip missed out on the full horror of what these animals did and are. I can describe a man getting his face bashed in with a hammer, but until I saw it happen and felt the absolute horror of the results in my gut, all the time watching the killers laughing and discussing what to do next. Fuck man, That’s TERROR! and no one can just tell you about that.

      • diana says:

I vote keep it up. I don’t doubt your reasons for posting the link anyhow. I think the points that have already been made say it all. I have seen many injuries (and traumatic deaths) up close and personal, but it has never affected me the way this did. I can also say that I have never seen monsters like these kids. Now we have seen them at work. We know what they are capable of. Maybe a few folks who think it’s “cool” to torture another human to death (they are out there, me, I only think it’s cool when bastards like the guys that did this are being tortured)- maybe they will rethink their whole freaking outlook once they see something like this and what this poor man went through.

    90. Amanda Ruth says:

I’d just like to say that this story, when I read it the first time, made me nauseous. It was excruciating to think of what those people went through in their last moments, and what they could possibly have been thinking as they took their last breath. I broke my arm, and that was the most painful moment of my life. I can only imagine (and unrealistically so) how much pain these people could possibly have been in.

That said, I have no-and I mean NO-compassion for these self indulgent, sociopathic dick weeds.

Like it says in the article, I hope they do get that particular death penalty. I just wish they could look in the eyes of the executioner, but I wouldn’t want to put the man with the gun in the position of staring into pure evil when he pulls the trigger. Hell, using a pistol may be too good. They deserve to suffer the equivalent of all twenty one of their victims’ pain.

I’m nineteen, and I have gotten bored on occasion. There are super fun ways to waste a few hours. Go see a movie, or sit on the computer and chat away the time with a few close friends. Never, in my entire existence, have I thought that going on a killing spree would be in the least bit fun.

Oye… to think that *one* person could be so blind to the difference between right and wrong, let alone three, is just… damn.

I hope these fuckers rot in hell.

      • YoMomma says:

Someone actually said that this case is a prime example of why the Ukraine should be supported on Facebook. If only I had a nickel for evey minute I’ve wasted on that pointless site, not only when I’m bored, but when I should be doing HOMEWORK! Ah, what a bittersweet romance we share.

    91. Lena says:

Max- that’s why I think the video was a good idea. It is slightly similar to the Ngati and Briana Lopez stories. I read about the injuries but seeing the autopsy photos drove the points home as to how severe these incidents were. Not that I would wanna see things like that all the time but these stories stood out because of the sheer brutality. However i’m still not sure how I would feel if it was my mother/ father/son/daughter on that tape.

      • Amy says:

And that is where choice comes into play. Either choose to click on the link, or not.
I personally hate the idea of the video. I hate that it was made, and i hate that it was posted on the net. I hate most that it was posted on my fav site…but like the autopsy pics in the Negati story, Max thought that it was needed to fully convey the horror of what happened.
I still wont watch it. I dont need to. I can gauge from the reactions of those who have watched it , just how horrific it is.

        • YoMomma says:

Oh my gosh, and do you even know how many times I’ve clicked the link and then I’m like “No!” Just listening to the audio on Rover’s Morning Glory made me sick to my stomach, I don’t think I would be able to watch it all the way through.

        • TurtleMania says:

You know, as I said before, the picture is not he same as the video.
The video had the dipsticks in the act.
It was an act in time that was shared by the culprits and the victims.

The picture did not show anyone in the act.
The picture shows the end results of the little guys horror.
The picture was not a picture of him getting burned or hit with a bat.
That picture could have very well been of him in his little coffin. Normal..
          …unlike the video.
          They are not the same.

          • YoMomma says:

Max also makes the point though:

“Those who read it without watching the clip missed out on the full horror of what these animals did and are. I can describe a man getting his face bashed in with a hammer, but until I saw it happen and felt the absolute horror of the results in my gut, all the time watching the killers laughing and discussing what to do next. Fuck man, That’s TERROR! and no one can just tell you about that.”

I don’t think I picture has the capacity to inflict the same amount of terror he’s talking about. Even with Baby Brianna, those fuckers were cruel and it showed in her pictures… But it doesn’t show just how cruel they were. There are other dimensions to abuse that a picture just doesn’t have the capacity to hold. Maybe if we had more videos of laughing, drunken mothers biting their children, and friends playing “toss-the-baby-into-the-ceiling” judges and juries would be more apt to give these fuckers the death penalty rather than just a few years. The intent of people, their feelings during action, and the exact amount of abuse one is put through is not exactly tangible, and I think this is one point where pictures are faulty.

          • TurtleMania says:

I don’t need the video. The autopsy pictures would be enough. The video, give it to the prosecutor as evidence.

Pictures are worth a thousand words. Besides, I have a vivid enough imagination. The pictures, I think would drive home that these boys are cruel. The video is an overkill.
If I were the coroner receiving the bodies…I wouldn’t need the video.

Video is great for one thing, to prove guilt.
But if you have other evidence, the video isn’t necessary.

          • Amy says:

While i get the point that both you and Max have made, i honestly dont feel like im ‘missing out’ on anything.
And the reason i bought up the autopsy pic was not to compare the two. The video is definately MUCH worse that the photo. It was more to show that the person who wrote the story thought that it was an important part of the story. And Max thought it was important. Its his story. If he wants to take it down, i’ll be more than happy. If he doesnt, ill respect that.

          • YoMomma says:

I understand where you’re coming from, Turtle.

    92. TurtleMania says:

It’s our story, Amy. That’s why we are voting. :)

      • Max The Cat says:

That’s right, and exactly why I put it to a vote. Actually, it was because of you, Turtle, that I gave taking the video down serious consideration. You were the first to bring it up, and since I respect your opinion maybe more than anyone’s on this website, I felt I had to, even if I disagreed with you. A vote made the most sense. FYI, as of today, the count is very close. So if this matters to you, dote forget to vote.

    93. Lena says:

I have a question. Is the issue more that “Pysih” shouldn’t show these kinds of videos for the sake of the direction of the site..or is it more that people just shouldn’t watch these types of things at all?

    94. TurtleMania says:

I’m not knocking anyone’s point of view.
I respect you if you keep your gloves up.
Anyone that has a different view, hey that’s fine. It doesn’t make you less of a person or greater.
I don’t hate Max or anyone here.

You come at me and we share intelligent exchanges, that’s fine.
If someone calls me out, I’ll prove my case if I deem them worthy.

I don’t want to debate with a toilet for example.

Even after it’s all said and done. We still will have our own points of view. No problem. Now when you start accusing for stirring drama and questioning their maturity, hey, I won’t go there. And I didn’t.
Let’s have a fair exchange. Challenge me without making accusations.

      • YoMomma says:

Well then, you tell me Turtle, what was the point in posting in the article when you could have simply referenced it like all the others? Reading the post, it seems like a cheap shot at everyone (not just me) that has been arguing to keep the video up. I am sorry if I interpreted it wrong, but that’s what I got from it, and in so stated that as well as I don’t think it’s right to stain everyone else’s pages with this debate. We are talking about commemorating the victims and having respect for the victims as PYSIH, and that was even used as reason to take the video down. Then you turn around and start dragging the issues into other articles.

You tell me, Turtle, how should I feel and what should I be thinking?

        • TurtleMania says:

Your thoughts and feelings are your own. I won’t tell you what to belve or think.

As you agreed to earlier, the video was used to illustrate terror that mere words could not explain.

I went to Mr Brown’s story to explain my defense that mere words could not justify.
I had to “show” my example.

And I don’t care what I have to do to defend my debate. Max can easily go there and remove those comments. We didn’t vandilze someones tombstone. It can be undone.

          • YoMomma says:

Well, I guess that as long as you have a towel, it’s okay to shit on someone’s chest then. Want to come over for dinner sometime? ;-)

          • TurtleMania says:

Ha. No respect lost from me.
I saw your strong posts recently and something told me, “You’ll go some rounds with this person”. And I am glad I did because I can respect you more whether the vid stays or not.

          • YoMomma says:

Awww, Turtle… Did you just proclaim your love for me?

            I love you too!

      • TurtleMania says:

I am no better than any of you. I am very passionate and I intend to fight to my last on an issue I feel passionate about.
I pictured myself as that person in the video getting beat down. And it’s not something I would want the world to see. As I saw the vide I thought to myself “This is so wrong”. Why I’m a watching this man’s private moment? I felt guilty as if I were in the ancient Roman Coliseum watching Christians getting eating by lions etc. It shouldn’t be this way.

Hey, if the call goes the other way and we still have it here. So be it. I won’t make me hate or treat anyone with disrespect.
We all are individuals and if we were all alike this would be a boring world.
We all bring something unique to the table.

    95. YoMomma says:

Now does anyone want to help me write my 8 page paper on the Holocaust that I was supposed to turn in on Monday? I keep taking breaks to talk in here! :’(

      haha

    96. Bill says:

How the hell do you pronounce Dnepropetrovsk

    97. Blueghost1 says:

I never thought I would be saying this because I thought I could handle anything. The answer is Yes, take it off.

    98. YoMomma says:

You know what this whole article just made me think about while I was trying to find out how to pronounce Dnepropetrovsk?

On HBO they had this documentary a few years back… I don’t remember what it was called but I’m pretty sure it took place in Eastern Europe… Anyways, it was a documentary about these kids that were being held hostage at school by some terrorists. All of the hostages were being detained in the gymnasium and after a long wait, the terrorists decided to set off some pyrotechnics to blow the place up! Well, the gymnasium soon went under fire and these children that survived this whole mess were talking about how they watched mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, and friends become consumed by the flames and literally melt away. One child was talking about how he would love nothing more than to kill those terrorists and their families! This was a little boy, let me mind you! They made it even eerier by showing the kid shooting people up in his video game while he discussed how he wanted to grow up to become an assassin.

I was looking up Dnepropetovsk on youtube to see how reporters said the name, and that’s where I found news reports showing blown up buildings and the like which made me think about the documentary…

      Anyways…

    99. Amy says:

So did you find out how to pronounce it? I know, i should look it up for myself, but seeing as thought you have already started looking….
You know, when the whole vote thing started, while i knew that it would cause some debate, i didnt expect so much.
Its been really interesting to read everyones different views. Over the past few days, my opinion has changed several times.
And im still unsure. I see both sides of the debate. And everyone ( well, most) have done a great job of explaining the reasons behind their choice.
The emotional side of me is saying to vote yes. But then the practicle part of me is saying to vote no.
Ill decide for sure sometime soon…i hope.

      • YoMomma says:

        Du-neh-pep-trovk

However it was an English report, so accent and different language being taken into consideration here, I’m not sure how accurate it is. The only video I could find where they say the name is the one beneath the actual murder video on Max’s link. You can check it out if you’d like. The reporter said it really fast too, which made the enunciation hard to get.

    100. Miwist says:

      No –
From reading the article, I chose not to watch the video. I trust
Max put the link in to show the depravity of some people and to show what victims experience. I don’t think he put it in just for the sake of gratuitous violence or shock value. We were clearly warned – it’s not as though he said ‘here’s a video of a kitten playing with a fuzzy bunny’.
PYSIH has a responsibility to it’s readers and I believe the editors have always lived up to the responsibility. No one clicked the link without having a pretty good idea of what was going to happen.
I don’t believe the video glorifies the the criminals – I’ve not read a single comment that seriously sanctifies what they’ve done. If anything, the video has turned against them and has people identifying with the victim – no different than the pictures of ‘Baby P’ and the bloody t-shirts or autopsy photos of beaten kids.
People that do glorify this shit will find it on the internet. PYSIH readers do not glorify murderers.
We all have the choice to click or not, we have the choice to change the T.V. station or radio station. Max warned us (his responsibility) and we click or don’t (our responsibility).

    101. Kemper says:

Does anyone know if there is any more detailed information about these killings, the sentancing, background stuff? Or is this info not available yet?

Cuz shocking video aside, I want to learn more about this whole ordeal. Too much attention to the video, not enough actual info.

      • Amy says:

        Actually thats a good point.
I just re read the post and noticed the bit at the bottom that tells us that they attended the funerals of their victims…bastards.
Does anyone know what made one of the guys quit? Did he get tired of the killing? Did he move onto other sorts of crime?

      • YoMomma says:

I can’t find anything… I don’t remember any major news corporations covering this story in the states. I would expect BBC to have something on it though nothing’s coming up.

        • YoMomma says:

So, from what I’m understanding… The original story broke late 2007. The trial for them actually started around April 12th of this year and it was when someone e-mailed the video for evidence that it leaked, and after a little bit of time it has gained some momentum over the internet.

It sounds like they’re in sentencing now. Supposedly Igor’s daddy is really rich and may be able to get him off through some technicality though I haven’t seen anything about the other two.

Here’s the main page I got the info… It’s in Russian though and even after translation it’s extremely hard to understand.

          http://www.mobus.com/155438.html

      • Max The Cat says:

We have people on it, but the info is hit & miss

    102. Penny says:

Has anyone else actually checked out the other gory videos on the site that has this. Some wicked shit! Some of it is just stupid, but there is one titled “snake attack” actualy it is a crock attack. I suggest you watch it, it’s some instant karma. Guy is going to stick his hand in the crocs mouth after he keeps smaking it in the head. Doesn’t take a genius to figure out what happens next. Gross, but made me laugh and cringe at the same time. The have a whole different crop of freaks commenting on that site.

    103. Amy says:

I googled these …animals…and most of the site i came up with were all in Ukrainian, and as i dont speaka da launguage, i couldnt tell you jack shit about what was written.
I did find one site tho that has a short court video. I shows them sitting in the box , and at one stage it looked like the guy in the back was smirking. They showed no emotion at all.
The vid also showed some pics of dead animals, dogs from what i can see…and it aint pretty. it also shows the boys at the funerals of some of their victims. They took pics of themselves flipping the bird to the deceased.
I couldnt and wont watch the death vid. But this was ok to watch. And it hit home the absolute disrespect for life they have.
If you want to check it out you can find it @ http://www.kp.kiev.au/daily/291008/60468
If your queezy, dont look, the pics of the animals are awful.

    104. Claire says:

Thanks Amy. I just couldn’t bear to look at pictures of animals that have been tortured. I think these three degenerates are the worst people I have ever heard of.

    105. Kathy says:

I did search engines on these jerks, too, but could only find out that the trial began in Sept. ‘08. I haven’t found anything else about the outcome, so I’m assuming the trial is still going on. BTW, I found the video posted on about 3-4 other sites, so it’s out there on the internet (but I still won’t watch it). Also, one site said the torture/murder spree lasted a month, another site said 4 months, so I guess there are alot of details we don’t know for certain. I’m curious whether or not teenagers are eligible for the death penalty in the Ukraine? I’m normally against the death penalty (especially for under age 21), but in this case I think it’s the only appropriate sentence. I’m even more curious to learn the reactions of the families of these three teenagers…evidentally, they were from middle-class families. I’m torn about whether keeping the video up does a service or a dis-service to the victim. I agree that death is very private, and I wouldn’t want anyone to see me being tortured to death…but if the video could accomplish any good in terms of educating people to be better parents to their teen-age children to prevent them from ever turning out to be like these monsters, then maybe it should remain accessible.

    106. latoya says:

I vote NO to remove video. It is SICK, yes, but it’s the reality of the world we live in and we cant hide from that. I think each person should make their own personal decision on whether they would like to see the video or not.

      • TurtleMania says:

I vote that we keep it on the Internet so that they can see it until their hearts content, but we remove it from our site.

    107. whiteiris says:

      WWAD?

I vote yes (remove), for one reason and one reason only…I think it may be bad publicity for the site. I think it goes well with the story obviously, the offensiveness does not bother me (all though it did, I almost puked, I’m scared for life), it is what really happened, but integrity has to come 1st…

I am a little torn however, I know bad publicity is better then no publicity especially for something that is already comfortable being bad (PYSIH) :o)…I just have a bad feeling about it, it’s not really what this site is about.

      • YoMomma says:

The video has brought the site bad publicity?

        • Bill says:

Any publicity, is good publicity. You see the ads on this site. They make money every time one of those appear on someones screen. And even more money if they’re clicked. Being admittedly “self-serving”, I’d imagine this is a great things for the people who run this site and get a cut.

PYSIH.com continues to run because of this.

          You gotta love the internet.

    108. whiteiris says:

It could…I think about the “what if” quite often…

Trust me, I almost begged for the writers to bring the more gutsy approach back with their posts and less of the sappy victim stuff…It’s just I could see the headlines now…

” Website known as People You’ll See In Hell has glorified the murder of an innocent man…” The reader count would probably sky rocket, if it did hit the headlines. Is it good thing? I am not sure…

      • YoMomma says:

The main media networks in the West did not even want to touch this story so I doubt that they would want to touch us for touching it (that’s a lot of touching!).

But, hey, what do I know?

      • Bill says:

Trust me, there will be no headlines. This site is great, but, its far from newsworthy.

      • Max The Cat says:

I don’t know if I want to step into this debate, because it confuses me so much. The video was made to have a keepsake of the murder – it’s a famous trait of serial killers to collect souvenirs of their crimes. They weren’t interested in glorifying their crimes, they just wanted to get off on the feeling they got committing them over and over again. As I said before, I didn’t make it available for any other reason than to illustrate to the reader how depraved these three little sickos are. Aside from nailing a disclaimer to the actual video, I don’t know what else I can do to make that point known. I’m not trying to shock you. I’m not trying to glorify the murder of an innocent human being. I’m not trying to get publicity for this website. All was trying to do was show three murdering scumbags in their natural state. Some people objected to the video for personal reasons, people I respect. I’m also a big believer in the First Amendment. That’s why I chose to put it to a vote. I’m smart enough to know I don’t know everything, so given a situation where I can take some time to get help making a decision, I’m going to do just that. Right now the vote is still pretty close.

        • YoMomma says:

The way I see it… If these guys wanted to be glorified through this video, as some people have tried to claim, they would have put it up themselves. But they didn’t… It was leaked by officials. Does the video glorify them? No, it shows three fuckin’ kids killing a guy in a seriously deranged way that ensures they are not going to get off easy for what they’ve done. They KNEW it was fucked up and that everyone was going to hate them for it. That’s why it wasn’t put up. So keep it up, let everyone condemn these motherfuckers, and call them out for what they really are: serial killing monsters! We are actually doing the opposite of what they want. If they’re released from jail for some not-so-unforeseen reason, they are going to be ostracized for the rest of their lives by all walks of life for what they’ve done because this video will leave a lasting impression for any compassionate person. No one will forget that, and no one will forgive them for that.

Just because some people are personally upset about the video, does not mean that my right to view it should be infringed upon either…

          • SCOTARG says:

And what about the rights of the victim and his family for the sake of decency and respect? If that was your family would you like strangers to be viewing their murder, knowing that alot of them think it’s ‘cool’! Their rights take presidence over yours i think. Also, although it is tempting for vigilanti justice, these boys are tried under the judication system which hopefully serve the justice they deserve. Thats what seperates civilized society from others that may avenge murderers or peodifiles in there own and equilly uncivilized behavour! So, no this video should not be broadcast.

    109. Susan says:

There is no way I could watch the video, but these kids look like average teenagers. Wow, I am flabbergasted. Once again sick humans on humans.

    110. Ziv says:

      No
Simply because I think the only person who could give the right to have the video watched, is the victim.
I would not want the world to watch if there had been a video made of the time I was raped and nearly choked to death.
If you wouldn’t mind someone watching the same done to you, well then I guess you wold not agree.
      To each their own

      • Ziv says:

that would also go for photos

      • Penny says:

Never thought of that! Now that has totally got me thinking. I also kinda feel bed for the family. I did already, just for a different reason now. I wished I hadn’t watched it, I had a hard time believing that it was even real. I change my vote no, take it down. I can’t say I’d want people watching that of me, or any of my relatives. Thanks Ziv for sharing your view. It has helped me to see the matter differently. (if anyone else commented above this one with a simular view, my bad I don’t read all the comments.)

      • YoMomma says:

I’m donating my remains to research… People can watch me die and then pick my cold dead remains with a scalpel.

    111. Amanda Ruth says:

On the video front, I have to vote no. I have no interest in ever viewing the video, but I think that people should have the right to choose whether or not they see it. It’s just as easy to not click the link as it is to do so. Like Max says, this story doesn’t have the full effect without seeing it. I don’t have the stomach for that kind of violence, despite all the crime shows I watch, but that’s all fake. I could hardly read the transcript without my stomach churning something fierce. But, despite my decision not to watch it, I think others should have the choice. So it’s not fair to take it down and deny them that chance.

Yeah… this seems like some twisted, messed up form of an explanation of democracy. It’s three am and I’ve been up since nine thirty am. You do the math. :-)

    112. what a web we weave says:

I started to watch the video. It lasted for over 1 minute, but once he started stabbing the guy in the stomach with the screw driver, I had to stop. I agree, it should be available for those who want to see it. It would only glorify the murderers action to someone who had the sick type of mind that they obviously have. As for their parents, how can they be in denial when their kids are on VIDEO?!

    113. Kathy says:

I don’t believe anyone’s posted this video on this site yet–here’s a news video about the incident posted on YouTube. (There is no gore or violence at all on this video.)
      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTVWNj0Cbq0
According to this news report, the hearings are set for May (I guess May ‘08, though I’m not sure how old the news video is). It’s interesting how the boys’ parents are in complete denial, wondering how they could have confessed to these crimes when they’re innocent!

      • YoMomma says:

It might have been this May since the video leaked in April when they were sending the evidence around. This video was put up December 5th, but it may be an old video… Who knows?

    114. Inxile says:

to many of you ppl watch dexter, i read some many comments on this site and others saying that it’d be ok if they weren’t innocent.

dexter TV SHOW is for entertainment, the main char is a pyschopath, what he does is wrong as well.

    115. How about if we use these 3 to take out the child abusers and pedophiles. As long as they drag out the deaths they get to live another day.

    116. You missed the point YoMomma… We allow them to live only as long as they can find and torture another child molester/abuser… We don’t give them the molestor…

This way they wander through each day wandering if it’s their last… There is no hell like the hell of not knowing…

    117. Bill says:

So, has anyone heard what the verdict was for this case and what their sentence was?

If they don’t get life or a firing squad, I seriously have to question the Ukranian court system.
