    UPDATE: Michelle Tufts

michelle-tufts-2As is my habit, when someone comments about a story that hasn’t been talked about in a while, I looked around for some new information on Michelle Tufts (MySpace page). According to her court records, she pled no contest to the Criminal Sexual Penetration and Contributing to The Delinquency Of A Minor charges on January 29, 2008, and was sentenced to 10 years 6 months plus 2 years parole, suspended after 4 years on June 19th, 2008.

Here’s how it reads in the New Mexico court records:

    Criminal Charge Detail
Party Count Seq # Statute Charge Class Charge Date Plea Disposition Disp Date
    D 1 1 1 30-9-11(C)(1) CRIMINAL SEXUAL PENETRATION (CHILD UNDER 13) F1 09/01/2006 NO CONTEST CRB: GUILTY/NO CONTEST PLEA 01/29/2008

    Jordan Brown

jordan_20anthony_20brownKenzie Marie Houk, 26, met and began dating Chris Brown in May of 2008. Shortly after, Kenzie Houk became pregnant with Chris Brown’s child and he moved into the farm house that Houk had been renting in Wampum, PA. Kenzie was already the mother to two young daughters. Brown also had a son, Jordan Brown who was the oldest of the children at age 11. On Christmas of 2008, Houk and Brown became engaged.

On February 20th, 2009, just like any other day Jordan Brown and Houk’s 7 year old daughter Jenessa got up early to go to school. Except this day wasn’t just like any other day. Jordan Brown went into his bedroom and retrieved a youth model 20 gage shot gun, then walked into Kenzie’s Houk’s room and shot her point blank in the back of the head while she was lying on her bed. Eight month pregnant Kenzie did not survive, nor did her unborn son.

UPDATE: David Welker Pleads Guilty To Wal-Mart Rape.

WalMart Rapist Gets 35 Years In Plea Deal

welkers-mugORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — An Orange County man accepted a plea deal on Friday in the rape of a woman inside her car at a Wal-Mart parking lot last year.

David Welker, 25, will spend 35 years in prison and have 10 years of supervised probation.

Welker agreed to a plea deal after initially denying involvement in the April attack.

Investigators said Welker ambushed the woman, forced her to drive to the back of the store and raped her repeatedly as he pointed a gun at her baby in the back seat.

“The person I met I don’t feel is capable of doing that at all because he was so sweet and gentle,” said Meghan Mathis, Welker’s ex-girlfriend. “I don’t want to, but the evidence is there.”

    Bahram “Ben” Nazeri

bahram-nazeri51-year-old Bahram “Ben” Nazeri, and his wife, 28-year-old Nooshin Mirabadi Khaneh lived in a beautiful home located in the affluent Orange County suburb of Irvine. Bahram and Nooshin had two lovely daughters, aged six and eight. Nooshin’s Mother, 58-year-old Parvane Ghararyankordestan also resided in the family home. Normal enough.

Like many couples, Bahram and Nooshin had their differences. Bahram and Nooshin argued a lot, actually. Still normal enough. Bahram, confided to close relatives and neighbors that he was unhappy in his marriage and that he had suspicions that his wife was having an affair. Still normal-ish. But, instead of filing for divorce, seeking marital counseling, completing a trial separation, or even enlisting the assistance one of my favorite shows, ”Cheaters”, Bahram decided to “just play it cool, boys, real cool.”

Judge Mark Ciavarella and Judge Michael Conahan

judge-mark-ciavarellaSuppose you had a 15 year old daughter in a high school. She’s a good kid, a good student with a big heart. She’s not perfect (what kid really is?) – her one flaw is when push comes to shove, she shoves back. When she senses she’s being treated unfairly, or worst yet, her friends are, she feels it’s her duty to strike back, figuratively speaking, and it’s gotten her into trouble with the school once or twice.

This time she decided to do a parody of the school’s vice principle. The school overreacts and she’s arrested, but her lawyer is sure because of her clean police record and high GPA that she”ll get a slap on the wrist. Instead, she comes out of the hearing wearing a pair of handcuffs and a brand spanking new 3 month sentence at a Juvenile Detention Facility.

    Maria Darlene Gardner

    maria-darlene-gardner

Maria Darlene Gardner (AKA Maria Joseph) has not been having a good year. Her husband, Simeon Joseph, Jr. committed suicide by shooting himself in the head as he lay next to her in October of 2008. This princess had five young children and it must have been more than she could handle in her grieving state. Sure, wrangling five young children can be about as easy as herding chickens at times, but you don’t flambé the children because you are tired of them or want to send them to heaven. On January 28, 2008, while the four oldest children slept in her bed and the youngest child, 16-month-old Ashia, slept in her crib, this mom of the year poured gasoline around the bed and crib of her children and over their bodies, before setting it on fire.

UPDATE: The Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs – Igor Suprunyuck, Viktor Sayenko and Alexander Hanzha

dnepropetrovsk-maniacsOn February 11, 2009, the court in Dnepropetrovsk found Igor Suprunyuck and Viktor Sayenko guilty of premeditated murder and sentenced both to life imprisonment. They were also found guilty of robbery and sentenced to fifteen years in prison. Alexander Hanzha, who was not involved in the killings, was found guilty of robbery and sentenced to nine years in prison. Hanzha said of Suprunyuck and Sayenko: “If I had known the atrocities that they were capable of committing, I would have not gone near them at gunpoint.” The judge stated in the verdict that the crimes had been committed so that the youths “could prove themselves and overcome their fear of people.”

    George Brent Haynes

george-brent-haynesAny of you guys ever watch “The First 48″? Man, I really dig that show. Observing real detectives work a real homicide case, doing real interrogations of real suspects and witnesses is a crime voyeur’s dream. My wife and I have been watching this show for so long it almost feels like we know some of the detectives personally, especially on the Memphis TN Homicide Squad – Sgt. Caroline Mason is the absolute bomb! If someone ever kills my dumb ass I absolutely want her on the case.

So we were watching the show this morning, and they did a case in Kansas City, MO about a young man who decided to get back at his girlfriend’s brother for beating his ass in a fist fight by shooting into his SUV while it was full of the brother’s children on June 4th, 2006.
