UPDATE: Demetrius Duncan
Most of you will remember the story of Ania Duncan, the 6-month old who was placed in a garbage dumpster last month in Cleveland, Ohio during subzero weather. At the time the story was written, certain poetic-licenses were taken as we awaited the cause of death for little Ania. The Cuyahoga County Coroner’s office has released the exact cause of death and certain other details surround the case, so here is the update with the factual information on the case corrected.
Demetrius Duncan has been charged with Capital Murder in this case, kidnapping and gross abuse of a corpse and he definitely has taken the term “gross” to a whole new level. Demetrius Duncan suffocated his daughter, 6 month old Ania, with a pillow in the living room while her mother, Olga Vazquez, 17, slept on the couch.
Demetrius Duncan then placed Ania in the garbage bag with feces, THIS MOTHER FUCKING CUNT SCAB LITERALLY FILLED THE BAG WITH SHIT, to mask the smell and dropped her in a dumpster behind his apartment building. Later he went back and retrieved Ania from the dumpster and moved her to the dumpster on Lorain Avenue where he directed police to find her.
It has also become known that there was a custody dispute going on over Ania between Olga Vazquez’s parents and Demetrius Duncan’s mother. This little one had two sets of grandparents that loved her and wanted to give her a good home, instead this piece of shit chose to put her in a bag filled with feces and then dispose of it in a dumpster.
Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason has decided there is only one reasonable punishment the law allows in an instance like this, the Death Penalty. Demetrius Duncan was given a gift in his daughter Ania Duncan, his mother who was ready and willing to help raise her, his girlfriend’s parents who were trying to help, and all he could do was think of himself.
I pray Demetrius Duncan gets plenty of time on death row with guards and other inmates slewing shit into his cell, that they cover the gurney he lays on to die with shit and then place his body in a shit filled bag and toss him into a dumpster like the garbage that he is. May his soul never find peace.

Just wanted to stop in and say hi to everyone. I have been absent most of this week.
Its been a really rough week here in Australia with the fires in Victoria. While its over the other side of Australia, it has effected most Aussies. This morning there were 170 confirmed deaths. Not only is there the devistation of property loss with entire towns being wiped out, there is also the heartbreaking loss of children losing parents and parents losing children. In some cases people have lost their entire families.
This morning after watching the morning news i cried and hugged my kids and thanked God that we are all safe and well. I dont know what i would do if i ever had to suffer the loss that some of these families have.
The most difficult thing for me to get my head around though is that these fires were the work of an arsonist. I hope if /when they catch him they charge him with 170 counts of murder. My biggest hope is that he burned to death in the fires he lit.
Please send out your prayers for all those who have lost so much.

Thanks Lena. We are a long way from where this is happening, but every morning i watch the news and the stories of loss just break my heart. I dont think that there is a home anywhere in Australia who is not eiter directly or indirectly affected by this. But Australia is a very tight knit place and in times of trouble we pull together. They dont call us Aussie Battlers for nothing:)

I’ve been watching the death toll go up and thinking about you Amy. I’m glad the fires aren’t anywhere near you. We have fires in California every Summer, although usually not at this scale, and there’s always some asshole arsonists involved in at least some of these fires. Psychologists say they get some kind of sexual thrill out of fire, so if they catch your guys, we’ll be happy to feature them here on PYSIH. It’s no much comfort for the victims, but it’s the best we have.
