UPDATE: Michelle Tufts
As is my habit, when someone comments about a story that hasn’t been talked about in a while, I looked around for some new information on Michelle Tufts. According to her court records, she pled no contest to the Criminal Sexual Penetration and Contributing to The Delinquency Of A Minor charges on January 29, 2008, and was sentenced to 10 years 6 months plus 2 years parole, suspended after 4 years on June 19th, 2008.

LAS CRUCES — A Las Cruces woman accused of molesting an 8-year-old boy accepted a plea agreement Tuesday morning as her trial was to begin. Michelle Tufts, 30, pleaded no contest to one count of attempting to commit criminal sexual penetration in the first degree and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor in the fourth degree, Doña Ana County senior trial prosecutor Heather Chavez said.
As part of the deal, prosecutors agreed to drop a second count of attempted criminal sexual penetration, Chavez said.
Tufts is a relative of the boy, but the Sun-News will not identify the specific relationship between the two in order to protect the boy’s identity.
Tufts could face a maximum of 10 and 1/2 years in prison. Prosecutors did not make an agreement in regard to sentencing, Chavez said.
A sentencing date has not been set.
According to court records, the boy’s grandmother alerted authorities to the abuse after the boy told her that Tufts had shown him pornography.
The boy, in a safehouse interview, told authorities that Tufts pleaded with him to do things of a sexual nature. He also spoke of being asked to perform another act, but he refused. At one point the boy said he tried to get away but was followed by Tufts into another room, where the incident happened.
The boy described the acts as disgusting and said that he was told never to talk about them.
Records show that Tufts allegedly told investigators that she had been going through a period of loneliness, wanting somebody to touch, and that at least one of the incidents the boy recounted was true.
Tufts told investigators that as a child, she was made to watch as one of her family members was molested by another family member.
Michelle Tuft’s court records also showed that she had an case earlier in 2007 where she again pled no contest to Intentional Child Abuse and Battery On A Household Member and received a 4 years of probation. I can’t find out who it was she’s accused of hitting/neglecting.
Another thing I discovered is that according to police, the eight year old boy was a close relative. Now, on her MySpace page, in Tuft’s photo gallery, she mentions that her son took one of the pictures. I thought that was rather interesting, but police say the child in the abuse case and the one in the sexual abuse case are not the same, or I’d be more suspicious that she tried to molest her own son.

I could have barfed when I read on her myspace that she enjoys “snuggling with her kids”. This bitch has some serious problems and obviously is just as big of a pedophile weirdo as any male who would do the same thing. I think she needs to first, never be allowed to have any more children/have her children taken away and second she needs to die. I know, Diana. It makes me even sicker when a female is the child molestor. Females are, sociologically speaking, supposed to be more empathetic toward the needs of children and more “nurturing”, yadda yadda.
