Lam Luong
All of us who are married have been there, fighting with the spouse. Sometimes you win the argument, and sometimes you don’t. I think we have all fantasized about whacking our spouse in their pointy little head from time to time or dreamed of some other way to pay them back for whatever transgression we believe them to have committed.
This charming little fellow is Lam Luong, 38 of Bayou La Batre, Alabama. On January 7, 2008 he and his common-law wife, Kieu Ngoc Phan, 23, had a disagreement, and it must have been a whopper. Instead of heading out to the local bar and pounding back a few until he cooled off like the rest of us normal human beings would do, Lam Luong decided that the only way he could really get back at the little woman and teach her who was boss, was to throw their four children off the 80 foot tall Dauphin Island Bridge. And that is exactly what this sorry excuse for a man did.
He drove Ryan, 3, Hanna, 2, Lindsey, 1, and baby Danny, 4 months, to the bridge and one by one, threw all of these helpless and defenseless children off the highest point of the bridge into the freezing water of the Mississippi sound. He then tried to file a missing persons report for his children saying that a mysterious woman named Kim had taken his children. The police did not believe him. It took divers almost two weeks to find all of their tiny battered little bodies off the coasts of Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. The autopsies showed that their deaths were caused by blunt force trauma and drowning. They were alive when their Daddy tossed them off the bridge. It is heart breaking to think that their last thought might have been “why Daddy?”
For over a year, Lam Luong has stuck to his story about the mysterious Kim and proclaimed his innocence. But on March 5, 2009, Lam Luong finally admitted to the murders. In a pre-trial hearing, he stunned the court and his own attorneys by writing a letter of confession to the judge, changing his plea to guilty and asking for the death sentence. Under Alabama law, all capitol murder cases must be tried, so Lam Luong will face a jury next week. The jury will decide on whether he should get the death penalty or life in prison. Unfortunately, the state of Alabama can only execute this f**cking piece of sh*t once. But instead of a nice painless lethal injection, maybe there is a higher bridge somewhere in the state they could throw him off of. Into concrete. Roast in hell motherf**ker. (sorry about the language, but nothing else seemed to convey my sentiments).
UPDATE: “I am pleading guilty for what I have done. I request the death penalty as soon as possible. That is my request — Lam Luong.”
Those were the words of Lam Luong in a written confession read aloud in court. However, less than one week after that written confession was read, Lam Luong changed his plea back to not guilty.
The man who pleaded guilty to throwing his four children off the Dauphin Island bridge changed his plea Wednesday to not guilty.
Prosecutors say Lam Luong had the change of heart when he realized, that despite his guilty plea, he was still going to be tried on the capital murder charges.

How to punish POS’s [Reserved for the lowest of lows].
Step 1) Proceed to restrain you POS to a sturdy surface, where all limbs are spread, but bound. POS needs to be nude.
Step 2) Proceed to gather a cake-serving knife, a pair of pliers (preferably needlenose), a bucket of ice, cup of lemon juice and cup of salt. Chill said cake-serving knife within bucket of ice — upon it being chilled, dip said cake-serving knife into bucket of salt.
Step 3) Proceed to sloppily remove all indications of masculinity from your POS. Should the knife’s bond with salt be dulled by your POS’s ignorant hemorrhaging, feel free to clean your knife with the lemon juice. We recommend alternating between these two methods. — NOTICE: Keep all removed portions of your POS. They are crucial to steps 6-8.
Step 4) Proceed to administer cuts (as best one can with a cake-cutting knife) to your POS’s body. We recommend tender-meat, such as the inside of the thigh, back of the calf, back of the knee, beneath the upper arm, and along the abdominal section. Salt or lemon is fine; If your POS faints, pending causes, prepare yourself by having smelling salts on hand. If you are unable to revive them, please, be patient. The lull of sleep is a blessing in disguise — you may fully reacquaint them with the reality of their state once they are fully conscious.
Step 5) Proceed to repeat Step 2, save instead of cake-serving knife, use pliers.
Step 6) Proceed to remove all teeth from your POS’s skull. One per hour, or if a hurry, one per fifteen minutes. Do tend to the bleeding.
Step 7) Begin to cook removed portions of genitalia. Serve hot to your POS. NOTICE: Do not cook all.
Step 8) Begin to feed raw portions of genitalia to your POS. We recommend this be done post-Step 6.
Step 9) Grasp POS’s tongue, and hold it steady — feel free to be creative with how you’ll restrain this tricky organ of your POS. Proceed to carve the initials P, O, and S, into your POS’s tongue with either tool.

1. Death row inmates are seperated from the GP because the GP will not kill him, but make him wish he was dead
2. Execution takes so long, I think some have died of old age first!
3. Better defense – because it’s life or death, these POS get top attys at state expense

There have to be some signs about the person you spend your life with…whether the person is unstable and values his life and the life of others. I’m sick of weak women who stay with men only because of the fact that they are trying to raise a family. Those children would be better off without an abusive father rather than with two parents who are constantly at each other’s throats! I’m sure there were other domestic altercations in which the children witnessed abuse. I blame the weak of heart and the irresponsible, selfish individuals who want to call themselves parents. Some people are just NOT MEANT TO BE PARENTS. That man needs to rot in HELL along with that woman for risking the lives of those children!
I cried about this one. I had not heard about this at all. The worst part is that the oldest boy definitely knew what had happened. He knew that his daddy hated him enough to pitch him over a bridge and let him drown. This man deserves so much pain. I also agree that this was not the first act of abuse that these children had endured.
i agree the death penalty is a copout this crotch cricket is asking for it because it is the only way he can run from his sick actions i say give him natural life in solitary confinement and let all the other lifers pass him around the shower stall like a blunt at a bob marley concert

It is indeed very likely that this was not the first act of abuse these children were victims of. And also likely, as Eyes Wide Open pointed out, that these parents were constantly fighting and I think that dad was probably beating mom (as well as the kids). It was most probably a horrible environment for all. I highly doubt though, that the mom ever imagined that her POS husband would actually go that far. Something in him had to have snapped badly for him to perform that act, not once, but four times.
I don’t think he has any remorse and I believe that his request for the death penalty is just to gain some sympathy.
With regards to the mom, I’m not sure how to feel about her. She definitely should have not allowed her children to be abused (if indeed they were abused, but it’s likely that they were). But I feel for her having lost her four children who I’m sure she loved.

From the moment i knew i was pregnant with each of my children i loved them. That love grew to immense proportions the second they were born. And as the years pass, although it seems impossible, that love just keeps getting bigger and bigger. I always tell them that the bigger they get the more of them there is to love.
There are no words known that could describe how completly and utterly i adore my kids. They are, without a doubt my greatest achievement.

But i just dont understand how someone can not love their children. I can understand a parent feeling overwhelmed or angry or annoyed. Parenting is a hard job after all. I am with you Amy, as soon as I found out that I was pregnant with my son, I counldn’t wait this brand new person. I was in love and had never met him. I had two miscarriages that devastated me because I would never get to meet those beautiful children, and yesterday we found out that we are pregnant with twins and I am ecstatic to meet these fabulous beings. Parenting is hard but so rewarding. I just don’t understand how people just think that it is so easy. If it was easy why would you want to do it? This definitely has something wrong with him in his head but that doesn’t excuse anything. I think that to look at his babies and do that to them that them that this man should be tortured.
While what happened to the kids is inexcusable, it seems to me that most marriages with such an age difference, especially when one is real young, generally suck.
They were about 15 years apart, hr 38, she 23 – that’s more than half her age in difference! If they were older when they got married (lets say a second or third marriage) then I find the differences more trivial.
Besides, except for $$$$ or a daddy, what would a 23 year old woman want with a 38 year old has man???? Her best years are coming, his are gone………………..

He withdrew his guilty plea on Wednesday and entered a Not Guilty Plea.
Maybe the voices in his head cant agree on what he should do….wonder how things would have been different if the voices couldnt settle their argument during the time he was hefting those babies over the bridge?

Anyways, apparently, this dum-dum laughed his way through telling her what he had done.

And as far as the editorial comment goes MJ, yes it was an act of creative license. One that I added because of childhood experiences. It is true that I cannot know what these poor children were thinking, especially the older ones. but I can make an educated guess from personal experience. You do ask why and in the next breath scream for the one person you trust to save you. But you are right, I was not there. But I disagree with you saying that my editorial comment diminishes the horror. None of us can even begin to know their horror. We can only honor them, by remembering them and making sure that the one person responsible for their deaths pays the consequences. Peace.
About the stuff that MJ12 wrote about you story, or more specifically, the one sentence he had a problem with. I’ve run into this kind of complaint myself many times, and seen others have to tolerate it too, and I personally don’t give it much weight. Especially MJ12′s reactions – it was so extreme and over done How does speculating what a child might be thinking when his dad throws him off a bridge hurt or disrespect the family?I mean seriously man, I’m still trying to figure out why you felt it necessary to use words like self-righteous and pompous in you critique. They just seemed so over-the-top that it made me wonder if you might have been a bit intoxicated when you wrote it.
Bayou La Batre was made famous in the movie ‘Forrest Gump’. I actually went to ‘sea school’ at a training school there to get my boat captain’s license. I was eating oysters at a dive in Bayou La Batre one night and I met a dude in his 50′s that said he’d been a shrimper for 40 years. He looked and talked exactly like Forrest Gump. It was scary.
Anyway, Lam, send me a postcard from Hell.
So this guy may get off with being insane or incompetent to stand trial eh? Hmm… Well the way i see it he knew EXACTLY what he was doing, and anyone who is a loving devoted parent will probably agree as if anyone wanted to destroy me then the most effective method would be to go after my children… God help anyone who tried i might add, as i can turn from mama walton to demon from the seventh level of hell if my kids are threatened, eldest daughters last boyfriend found that out to his cost, this POS wants skinning alive with a rusty nail, slow… But sore! ;)

my goodness. that is really really really sad, poor baby girl. I have read so many stories and I think my views on life have completely changed after this. I don’t trust anyone, I am so scared of humanity- I have hugged my children literally 10 times as much as I used to. I can’t fathom the idea of anyone wanting to harm my babies.
