The week of July 29th through August 5th, 2007, was a bad one for 20-year-old Ryan Boise. A chronic drug user, he had just been informed that he had contracted Hepatitis C, a chronic and eventually fatal disease. Ryan was bummed out, very bummed out. Early on Sunday, August 5th Ryan was with some friends, begging them to help him kill himself. Frightened and confused, and acting as most friend who just happen to be junkies do, they instead dropped Ryan off at the home of his grandmother.

Things must have been pretty lonely for Turkish student Cem Blasolas. After arriving at the University of Kansas to study physics, the freakish, I mean Turkish student decided he needed some company — of the four-legged furry kind. So he started adopting poor homeless pets to bring joy and companionship into his lonely life.

To bad that he treated them as sex toys.

He was arrested in August 16, 2008 for abusing a cat. The cat was brought to a local veterinarian who determined that the cat had several broken ribs, a fractured sternum and a punctured lung. The cat is still with the vet undergoing continued treatment for it’s injuries. Seems Mr. Blasolas got lonely again and went looking for a new “friend.”
