As far as most of us are concerned, those who drive under the influence don’t deserve legal representation and those who advertise that they can get people out of DUI’s are, quite simply, shitbags. I saw a documentary about this case recently, and two things struck me: first and foremost, Emma Jangestig’s incredible strength and composure. She has gone through hell, and yet she’s lost neither hope nor sanity. But like she pointed out several times, talking about it is therapeutic for her, and she only talks about it to the media on good days. When the grief grabs her, the media have no access. And amazingly they seem to respect that.

The second thing that struck me – and which, I can only assume, was one of the main points of the documentary – was that Schuerrer was able to track her and the kids down because both she and, more importantly, her boyfriend Torgny Hellgren, were avid bloggers, sharing their lives on the internet with any- and everyone. This fed the german witch’s jealousy and stoked the fires of her rage, and when she was given information like the general area where Emma, Saga and Max lived, plus pictures of the house, the evil sherlock in her had all the tools he needed.

Sure, this also worked in the opposite direction, once the search for the murderer began, as it helped the police track Schuerrer down. But if you ask me, that was the only good thing to come out of it. Personally, I’ve never understood the desire to lay bare your entire life on the internet. Privacy settings mean fuck-all to the sickos out there, and though the majority of the bloggers and facebookers out there escape unscathed, I hope this case serves as a reminder of what can happen if you’re unlucky enough.

My heart goes out to Emma and all those around her. She truly is an amazing human being.

I saw the other pictures of the children at the autopsy and I have to say I am truley and utterly disgusted. I hope this ugly cunt get shards of glass inserted into her eyes, or someone rapes her with a knife. Harsh but she deserves every bit of hell which is coming her way.

I didn’t just click the link; I googled for the rest of the photos. I didn’t think they could be any worse than anything I’d already seen online. I mean, Goatse is like an old friend who pops up every now and then.

You read it just right. Some idiotic people here in Sweden DO think that childmurderer is innocent. We have mentally retarded people here to obviously, ’cause no1 in there right mind would ever even consider that bitch being innocent!

The worst isn’t even the fact that she could be out in 12-15 years, the worst about this is the fact that she’s in a prison 40 km from where Emma lives and that it won’t be long until she will have the right to leave the prison unsupervised for periods of time.

That Schuerrerbitch should never be allowed to leave the prisonground, not until shes stone cold dead in a coffin.

As someone already stated; The sentence life time in Sweden is not directly translated in to 12 years. Here, life time is an undetermined period in jail. It could be 12 years, 18, 25 or even until she eventually goes to Hell according to the majority of the voters. In ateistian, that means until she dies of course. Personally, I dearly hope there’s a special place in Hell waiting for this Christine Schürrer. If only I believed in Heaven and Hell. This would be a circumstance to really hope that God is real.
