Child abuse is the most horrible thing in the world to me. The most heartwarming thing I can think of is an abused child finally getting the love that they deserve. I would love to one day be a foster parent to formally abused children because at least I would know that after the hell they went through they would be coming to someone who would love them completely and dote on their every word. It will be a couple of years before I am able to do that because I have six children of my own. Three teenagers and three under the age of four. (God help anyone that ever thinks of harming them.) When my big kids leave for college and there is a bedroom or two available, bringing more children that need love into my home will be the first thing I do. My (now) husband and I obtained custody of her at 8 months old due to the fact her biological mother broke 8 of the baby's ribs. Her story was that she "squeezed her to make her stop crying..." then the stupid bitch waited over 24 hours before taking the baby to the hospital. She wasn't even going to take her, but the grandma stepped in and made her. It's taken everything in me not to seek retribution, she is in prison until 2014, but still. I love my setpdaughter as if she was my blood. How any person could hurt a baby or put a child in a dangerous situation is beyond me. Fuck life in prison, a bullet between the eyes is cheaper. But the guy was just 17 and living with a 34 year old woman! Where are HER child rape charges as well!
