CHILD PORN FOUND ON MUSEUM SUSPECT’S COMPUTER, FBI SAYS

WASHINGTON DC — The FBI says it found child pornography on a computer used by the man charged with the fatal shooting of a security guard at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum June 10.
In court documents filed Wednesday, an investigator says the pornography was found on a desktop computer during a search of an Annapolis, Maryland, apartment where 88-year old James von Brunn had been living for the past two years. The documents did not provide details about the pornography, but investigators requested permission to make a more extensive search of the computer and others found in von Brunn’s home.
Von Brunn has been charged with the murder of museum security guard Stephen Johns. The white supremacist was shot in the face after two other security officers returned fire. He remains in a Washington hospital.
The FBI also searched a red Hyundai that law enforcement officials say von Brunn left double-parked in front of the museum right before the shooting. In separate documents also filed on Wednesday, investigators say they found 35 rounds of live ammunition for a .22 caliber rifle. Officials allege von Brunn used a .22 caliber rifle, which was found at the scene, to shoot Johns in the chest.
According to paperwork detailing the car search, investigators found business cards advertising a USS Liberty Web site that claims Israeli forces “suddenly and brutally” attacked the U.S. Navy vessel in international waters in 1967. Investigators also found business cards for von Brunn’s own Web site, which hosts postings of white supremacist writings.
Among other items found in the car were a disabled parking permit, mouthwash, a salt shaker and a roll of quarters totaling $7.25.
Earlier this week investigators filed papers saying among the items discovered in von Brunn’s apartment was a painting that appeared to depict Hitler and Jesus. They also found a .30-30 rifle, ammunition and a handwritten will.

I also feel sorry for his family – his son who’s been trying his damnedest to distance himself from the waste of space that was his “father”.. I mean.. not only is this guy saddled with being the son of a murderer, and a neo-nazi.. now he’s the son of a pedophile too?? .. I dont know.. I guess in an ideal world we could just unplug the idiot, bury him, and let his family heal.. I’m all for the security gaurds family getting some justice, but what justice can be .. gotten.. in this situation??
Actually minjofu, he’s going to survive to face trial after all. From what I gather, he hasn’t even suffered any permanent brain injury (From the shooting, anyways). Go figure.
I don’t think investigating this guy is beating a dead horse. Even if he was going to die, a complete investigation would still be necessary to see if A. there was any one else involved, B. he had commited any other crimes that had gone unsolved, and C. to compile a profile which in turn could help prevent and/or catch perps of similar crimes.
Well, those are all good points.. and after I left the message I kinda wondered about that stuff.. ultimately, I just kept thinking about all the additional garbage this guy heaped on his family through his lifestyle.. his choices.. thats a hell of a legacy to leave behind..

Other news states the POS lived with his son for 4 years… that’s a long time to be putting up with racist rants. Maybe he needed the money, since other sources state the POS was paying rent there.
Sad. Hopefully investigation will be able to pinpoint who downloaded the childporn, since I doubt the POS moved in with his own computer, and it’s not often a family member publicly denounces their POS. It would suck if it wasn’t from the POS himself. Just saying.

Why isn’t this surprising? As if the family of this man and the Mr. Johns family didn’t have enough to deal with trying to come to terms with the death of Mr. Johns and the utter tragedy that occured from James Whitaker von Brunn’s action, now they all have to deal with this issue of child pornography. How terribly embarrassing for Whitaker von Brunn’s family. His son and family appear to be very nice people that never condoned or supported his beliefs and now they will once again be bombarded by the media with this situation. Also, this situation will be brought to the attention of Mr. Johns family by the media, when they should respectfully be left alone so they can deal with their grief. Hopefully this will stop the extremists who have claimed this was a great man just sticking up for his beliefs. How will they respond to this….hopefully it will show them that he is a phony and a pervert and he was really just one fucked up individual.

Seriously Max, I never thought it as a white supremcy movement – a movement of sorts, but certainly not a supremacy movement. Let’s call a spade a spade.
Are we really surprised that a bully that wants to dominate a race would stop there? It only stands to reason that he would want to dominate and degrade children, and I’m quite sure his family. Who knows what type abuse they suffered.
Just from reading the websites, I wouldn’t be surprised by anything these weak little pansies do – I’m sure they’re capable of just about anything – as long as they’re able to be in control of others. They don’t seem to possess the maturity, intelligence, or fortitude to control themselves. They are nothing but foolish little boys, weak and ineffectual – only bullying and fear give them any power.
