Can we not discuss race, the possibility of a racial motivation without being branded racist ourselves? Is it now so taboo a subject we can’t even discuss it rationally and respectfully as a possible aspect in this convoluted case? Have we moved backwards in our evolution away from racism?

Really? I feel this crime was absolutely racially motivated against the young couple. Does that make me a racist now because I think that? I am getting sick of people like you conveniently calling everyone else a “racist” because they simply have an opinion that you don’t agree with.

I never have nor will I ever vote party. I vote person. The Sherif of my county I know personally. HE served 23 year in the Army as an MP and CID. He has worked hard to find and hire fair people to populate his force. He has fought tooth and nail to get the money he needs to do his job. Crime is down in my county and trust in the Sherif’s department is up. Businesses are moving back and people are enjoying life a little more.

He is a democrat. I asked him why when the republican party is closer to his ideas. He told me that in order to get elected in WA you have to have a D next to your name. Right or wrong thats the way it is.
