In about forty years, Gagnon will be released from prison. Today, Vadie would have been two months past three years old and I'd have been trading pictures of my nephew and niece with Bethany. Jordan, Haley, Lacie and Bethany would have been preparing winter weather witch outfits, ready to battle the Bengals at home on January 2nd, with magic wands and purple outfits. DUI Fatalities in 2008, dropped around 2500, last year they dropped 3800, I hope they continue the decline, as various states enforce their policies and bars wise up to the consequences. I also thank MADD for their unceasing efforts. I plan on a sober New Year's, and while I know this option may seem alien to some, I cannot stress the advantage of not killing someone when you decide to avoid driving drunk. Line up cabs, line up designated drivers, take keys away, and watch the town drunks in your spheres of friends for any sign they might be the next Gagnon or Brittany. I wish you a safe day and hope this next year will be better than this one or 2007. Sweet dreams little Raven Witches. I remember you and I cheer for you in the quiet places in my heart. I may watch that game, even though I practically loathe football this year, just so I can cheer your team, remember you happily, and maybe catch a glimpse of your joys when your team crushes them to a home town roar.
