I live in Brunswick. My nieces knew Chris. I lived just a few streets over from the lot of them. Remember seeing the signs around town when he was missing, remember getting phone calls at work passing messages for agencies (I was night shift supervisor at a local answering service) and I remember the night they cancelled his amber alert. I spent my birthday in a volunteer group searching for him. I remember the national news vans at the courthouse, blocking traffic and being told by local police no they could NOT park on courthouse lawn. Brunswick is a pretty small town. Family means a lot here, and I'm glad they got the death sentence. Imo it would be better if they gave the father the option of flipping the switch. Sick Sick bastards. I live in Brunswick.
