I agree with you. I also have a gay friend and we are in highschool and he is picked on pretty bad, unfortunately. I really hope somethings is done about the homophobics. I'm not saying everyone has to agree with homosexuallity but I am saying they should respect them just as any other human being. I hope the world changes in which these kind of things will no longer happen. Also, many adolescants(sorry for any misspelling)get homophobia from their parents or guardians. They hear horrible statements from parents or guardians or witness disrespect towords other people done by their parents or guardians. Other adolescants can encourage this barbaric behavior as well.
