Oh, and would it be redundant for me to point out the clear usage errors in your writing?

Perhaps you are like my sixth grade keyboarding students who tell me, ” I couldn’t capitalize the ‘I’ ’cause my shift key didn’t work…”

For a detailed and insightful description of how police can get someone to confess to a crime they did not commit, read A rip in Heaven: A Memoir of Murder and its Aftermath by Jeanine Cummins. In all of these cases of false and later recanted confessions, the person recants BEFORE the trial and once they are out of the clutches of the police some of who, unfortunately, are more focused on looking good than on finding out the truth. For anyone who doesn’t believe in false confessions, this is a must read! That said, these 6 obviously are not in the same boat, they are GUILTY AS CHARGED (and as the evidence showed).

I get a kick out of the description, “God-fearing.” What does that mean? Apparently God-fearing applies to all kinds of sickos, just as does, “Law-abiding.” Of all the developed nations, the USA is surely the sickest, but wait for it – yes wait until 2050, by then the crime rate will be so high the Good Ol Boys will have to turn in their weapons of murder and mayham. LMAO

I am sorry that you are going through all of this :( I really didn’t understand what you meant by your comment, just that you are the caregiver. I truly applaud you for that, because whether the abuse happened or not she is in need of some serious help. I hope you all can get the help you need.

i live approx. 10 miles from where all this took place. when this story broke, i was shocked beyond belief. i followed the story closely, reading every newspaper and online article i could find. i saw all the pictures of the brewster home and of megan. the first pics of the victim showed her in a hospital bed w/ her mother at her side. in this picture, you could plainly see where her hair had been ripped from her scalp. she looked so timid weak…kind of like a terrified, hunted animal.

nearly every article i read spoke of megan’s mental and emotional problems, though none actually pinpointed which or what kind of disability she suffers from. it doesn’t really matter though, b/c obviously the poor girl’s not right in the head. those lowlife scumbags gave statements detailing exactly what they did to megan. why would they do that if they hadn’t done anything wrong?
they wouldn’t…plain and simple.

i think that megan is being pressured somehow…either by the perpetrators or by someone in her own camp. i just hope and pray this doesn’t help the defense attorneys in this case to win new trials for one or all six of those pieces of human waste. if that happens and they get out of prison, someone else will surely have to pay. each of the six are career criminals. bobby brewster killed his own father! his mother killed her 80 yr old mother-in-law! these are the kind of people best kept behind bars…for the sake of megan and the rest of society.
