WITNESS FROM CRASH SCENE POSTS ESSAY ON CRAIGSLIST
I received an email from a person who calls themselves ZF informing me of an essay posted by a person who had pulled up to the scene of the Taconic Parkway accident that killed eight people a few minutes after it happened, describing what he saw. This person happens to be a talented writer, and his description of the horrific goings on are both disturbing and haunting.
The point of posting this essay is this; If this doesn’t get the point across about why minimizing what Diane Schuler did is such an evil thing to do, I don’t think anything ever will. The description of the man standing by his car, weeping inconsolably over the things he has just seen, brought it home to me that this isn’t about Diane or Diane’s reputation, it’s about the tragic loss of innocent lives and the effect that’s had on all sorts of people, from the immediate family to total strangers.

This item falls under the category of “You can’t make this stuff up”.
Robert Melia Jr. used to be a police officer in Moorestown, New Jersey. There’s a very good reason why Robert isn’t a cop anymore.
Back in 2008, Robert Melia, 38, and his live-in girlfriend, the beautiful and talented Heather Lewis, were indicted for were indicted together on 45 counts of various charges related to the sexual assaults of all three juvenile females between June 2000 and January 2008. It seems Bobby and Heather had diddled a teenaged girl between August of 2007 and January of 2008, until she finally found enough courage to tell her stepfather about the incidents.
