John Allen Muhammad
History can be fun. Years after deaths and triumphs, the challenges that were endured to get from way back then to now can provide hours of entertainment to readers and even viewers of historical events translation to film, music or art. History can also dredge up horrible memories of horrible, torturous events when many of us felt that the very streets we lived and worked on had become a battle ground in a struggle between religious and philosophical beliefs.
It’s been just over 7 years since Lee Boyd Malvo and John Allen Muhammad were arrested, sleeping in their 1990 Chevrolet Caprice Sedan. The murder weapon the two had used to kill ten people, a Bushmaster .223 rifle was found inside the car, and was later conclusively linked through ballistics to 8 of the 10 shootings, though the eventual conviction that led to Muhammad’s death sentence relates to only a single shooting, that of Dean Harold Meyers, a 53 year-old man who was just pumping his gas.
At the time, in the post 9-11 aftermath of fear and conspiracy, systematic murders by a man named Muhammad and his young disciple added fuel to the fire of religious hatred and disjointed relations that colored the character of national and international decisions. Was Muhammad and the young Malvo a dastardly duo on a mission from Allah?
No, Muhammad was angry at one woman, his ex-wife, who had estranged him from his children. His killing spree, shooting 10 other people and basically scaring the piss out of everyone and anyone living near the Beltway, was his “clever” cover for his plans to murder his ex-wife.
Yeah, this guy killed 10 people, in order to hide the fact that he was going to kill his ex-wife….How does this make sense?
Here’s a list of Muhammad’s victims:
James Martin, age 55, shot and killed, October 2, 2002
Premkumar Walekar, age 54, shot and killed, October 3, 2002
Sarah Ramos, age 34, shot and killed, October 3, 2002
Lori Ann Lewis-Rivera, age 25, shot and killed, October 3, 2002
Pascal Charlot, age 72, shot and killed October 3, 2002
Caroline Seawell, age 43, shot and seriously wounded, October 4, 2002
Iran Brown, age 13, shot and seriously wounded, October 7, 2002
Dean Harold Meyers, shot and killed October 9, 2002
Kenneth Bridges, age 53, shot and killed October 11, 2002
Linda Franklin, age 47, shot and killed October 14, 2002
Jeffrey Hopper, age 37, shot and seriously wounded, October 19, 2002
Conrad Johnson, age 35, shot and killed October 22, 2002
Well, soon we won’t have to worry about him. Governor Kaine over in Virginia, whatever your feelings about his politics has stepped out of the way, and barring some rather lofty judicial intervention or some other major event, Muhammad will be executed by lethal injection this evening at 9:00 PM.
John Allen Muhammad, age 48, was pronounced dead a 9:11pm on Tuesday, November 10th, 2009. He was executed by lethal injection at Greensville Correctional Center in Jarratt, Virginia. Relatives of his victims, his attorneys, members of the media and official state witnesses watched as Muhammad’s sentence was carried out.
You can bet the fires of hell burned a little brighter the moment Muhammad’s soul arrived.
Note: “The Final Report – The DC Sniper” is from a CNN special report on the sniper attacks. There’s a lot of opinion mixed in with the facts, so don’t let yourself get sidetracked by the producer’s spin on things. I chose to use the videos because it contained the most thorough examination of the facts surrounding Muhammad’s and Malvo’s killing spree.
Is John Allen Muhammad's Ass Roasting In Hell?
- You bet he is. God doesn't like sneaky, coniving bastards. (95%, 232 Votes)

Good riddance!!
A-frickin-men, Kenny! Too bad we can’t have the bastard killed another 10 times!
Better sooner than later. This post should be on time! I called it a week prior. Can we set up a faq for users to post a significant article relating to current events a priori? A pre vigil roast of john allen and his cowardly crimes. Read about it … come on pysih how does this work?
Nicely done Max
Woo-hoo! I’m sure Satan enjoyed that weenie roast! One down and…oh, shit, too many to count! Have a great weekend, yaw!
I’m really glad to see that a clear distinction was made between a terrorist act and a vengeful act that happened to be carried out by a Muslim. We have enough of a bad reputation without bringing idiots like this into the mix.
The Onion had a very appropriate article about that actually.
I never knew the motives behind these murders… to cover up for his plan to kill his ex!! WOW! What the heck? Clearly a psychopath, mass murderer. I hope the victims who survived and the families of those who didn’t found some peace.
I remember hearing his name, and jumping to the conclusion that this too was an Islamic extremist attack on the United States. When I read about the real motivations behind his actions, I was floored. I thought, “I’d have been happier with terrorism.”
A plan so crazy it just might work -
It’s almost worse than religious extremism. He doesn’t even pretend that he’s fighting for a greater good, he simply killed people because it was convenient for him.
It’s this kind of indifference towards human life that makes me regret my atheism, and wish I could believe that some kind of hell is waiting for this piece of shit.
I hope he is roasting on a spit.
See ya in hell fuck face
thanks for letting all us know more of the facts – I don’t remember anything ever said about his X-Wife.
Anyway while I am glad that he’s the weenie at the roast, he should have been dead for a while, but then gain I am thankful that he was sent to hell on an late express bus now, unlike the Manson family, where some people actually want to release one of its memers almost 40 years later….
Don’t mention it… This guy and Malvo scared the crap out of me for awhile there. When they were caught, and his name was mentioned, I was certain they were simply more radicalized Muslims. When his court case came up, the prosecution stressed his motive as an attempt to cover up the murder of his ex-wife. I’m glad he’s safely dead. There are a lot of gun owners and hunters who are glad their rights weren’t infringed because of this man’s actions.
if he did not use a gun, he’d have found another way to do the killings..
I remember when the first tower was hit on 9/11/01 – I knew it was intentional – i figured it was some guy on his cell phone to the X saying he was bringingthe child support check to the lawyers office!
Some time before the 9/11 a guy had taken his s,small plane and crashed it inot the house that his X had got from their divorce – I do not remember if he successfully killed her or not – but he died.
This shows us that not all bad Muslims are terrorists – some are just regular POS.
Considering how long the run is for most death row scumbags, they government wasted little time getting him buried, wish they could all be that fast!!
I don’t know maybe it’s me……….but executing some one for the crime of murder seems a little hypocritical……..How can the law state that murder is unacceptable when the government is killing people every week?
You can not take the moral high ground and judge people if you have been reduced to their level……….and don’t give me none of the eye for an eye shit, this is not the fucking middle ages and Christ also preached about turning the other cheek but the Christian right always forget about that teaching.
capital punishment is a barbaric and frankly outdated practice countries without he death penalty usually have lower crime rates than the countries that do (Few exceptions like Brazil and Mexico)
God fearing Americans are not the smartest people in the world ……less executions and more gun control would be a good way to go to make your country safer for children…….The drug prohibition is also a major source of crime if you were to legalize drugs you would get rid of the dealers in a second and guarantee the purity of the product no more junkies dying because their gear is cut with poisons.
with the extra money you’d save on policing could be used towards rehab programs and education………….It’s not that I have anything against Americans I’ve just come back off holiday and have to say that you probably are some of the kindest friendliest nation in the world……..but on a political level you are fucking backwards…..Yeah the right to bear arms……who the fuck needs to have a gun these days? No one……It’s an old law get rid of it!!!!
also i find it sickening that people are cheering for his death you people have not left your lynch mob roots behind!!!
I’m glad he’s dead. In fact, I’m hoarse from cheering. Not only is this scum off the planet, but my tax money doesn’t have to go towards keeping his ass alive, caring for him medically and giving him 3 hots and a cot for the rest of his worthless existence. There are law-abiding people who pay their taxes and contribute to society in a positive way that don’t get the privileges he would get in prison. How is that just? How is that even remotely intelligent?
I believe in the death penalty for extreme cases like this one. If he has no respect for the lives of others, he has no right to call himself human. Monsters should be put down as soon as possible. There is no reason for them to remain alive.
What about US military snipers in Iraq or Afghanistan?
Should they not be held accountable for their actions in these illegal wars?
or because some Jesus freak in the white house gave them the go a head to invade these countries should they be let off the hook…..just like nazi death camp guards they are only following orders…..so when do you take some responsibility for your own actions…………this man was just following his warped crusade and he’s a criminal and deserves death…….but when people follow a presidents warped crusade they are heroes?
I’m not saying what he did was right on the contrary I’m saying what he did was wrong but what do you expect.
A great American (Timothy McVeigh) once said……..
‘Our Government is the potent, the omnipresent teacher. For good or for ill, it teaches the whole people by its example.’ .
First off, I want to make it clear that this is not the ‘stormy weathers’ who used to post outrageous, tongue in cheek comments just for a laugh. Oh no, that stormy was a very funny guy, once you got to know him and understood that he wasn’t serious when he’d say a story about a serial rapist was “kind of erotic”.
No my friend, unfortunately, the stormy weathers who posted these last comment isn’t joking, and any chuckles that he happened to get from his rant was definitely unintentional.
For instance, calling Tim McVeigh, one of the most notorious mass murderers, baby killers, and general cowards who ever lived, a “great American” is hysterical, especially coming from a European. You folks only seem to need us when you’re about to be forced to speak German or Russian.
And blaming Muhammed’s killing spree on American foreign policy is a real hoot. His motive actually was using the murders to as a smoke screen for the eventual killing of his estranged wife. He thought the police would blame the sniper for her death and not bother looking at him.
As far as your views on capital punishment, well, you have your opinion, I have mine. I actually have no problem with your ideas here, and really wish you hadn’t posted anything else – you’re not a dummy and believe it or not we encourage people with opposing viewpoints to post on this website.
It seems like it bash America week here at PYSIH. I’m a pretty decent history buff, and, as usual, Jason is brilliant when he replies on this subject – VCBecky appears to be pretty sharp too. So I guess we can handle a few US-Bashers is we have to.
Equating a man who killed and maimed people in an effort to conceal his eventual attempt at murdering his ex-wife to men and women who serve in uniform, correctly and under the Geneva conventions is laughable at best.
Let me stop you there. Timothy McVeigh rented a truck, painstakingly packed it with home made explosives, drove it in front of a building he felt was related to the Waco, Texas bombing and then killed people who had almost nothing or nothing to do with the event. He was caught with illegal firearms on his person, a strange thing to appreciate from someone who opposes firearm ownership, and claimed some sort of moral high ground because of it….
Let me count the considerations here:
1. Waco, Texas was a horrible failure on law enforcement, in part assisted by a crazy pedophile who all but doused his followers in gasoline before the FBI broke through the walls.
2. Timothy McVeigh was a member of both White Supremacist groups and White identity groups. He was a failed American soldier who was not equipped with a functional conscience.
3. A great American would be someone who gave a lasting and positive influence on this world.
The majority of our Republic are in favor of Capital punishment. If you choose to hate the functional capacity of our Republic or its Democratic forms, please discuss that lunacy with one of your other personalities. I’m not buying it, not interested in it, and thoroughly not swayed by it. It has nothing to with being American and everything to do with being a sane, rational human being who understands that the world is not a vacuum and logical progressions require a patient consideration of the time and effort to effect change.
Free speech, gun ownership, the right to self-defense, the due process of law, and the States rights versus the Federal rights are cornerstones to the richest nation, despite debts to any other collection of countries, in the history of the planet. My nationalism and patriotism are reserved not for people, but for the system that functionally continues to allow the United States to produce the most productive workers on earth.
Snipers are on order by their supervising officer. To compare our soldiers to Nazis death camp guards is downright offensive. It trivializes the Holocaust and the people who died in them. As for going after Bush for the war, that opens a can of worms.
Hey let’s get one thing straight here Americans are straight up fucking Nazis man……..at least to the Arab world they are……
Your fucking Stars & Stripes is nothing but a Swastika……..your a violent empire that fucks over and rapes any other country that has something you want…..
Blame Bush all you want but you fuck heads gave him another 4 years……All based on lies that were fucking sold to you after 9/11 which was probably an inside job anyway
You sell fucking guns in supermarkets for god’s sake then you wonder why some dipshits go mental and start using them….yours is a culture of violence and is ruled by fear propagated by the right wing media.
..Fuck man Timothy McVeigh was just standing up for for rights to use said guns (so does that not make him a great american in your fucking twisted book)
Don’t give me this “Snipers are on order by their supervising officer” shit either that’s the same lame excuse every single fucking war criminal ever dragged before the Hague gives……
When do you stop following orders and take a bit of responsibility for your own actions?
The chickens are coming home roost baby…….So keep executing people because let’s face it what a great deterrent it is……Do you never wonder why Canada has a fraction of the violent crime the US does?
You planted your seeds and the horrible crime in these pages are your fruits
Again i must point out that on a personal level some of the coolest motherfuckers i have ever met have been American and when over in your country have been treated very very well and was shown a lot of hospitality….
…..but my rant is against your political infrastructure and your backward gun laws, news media and stance on capital punishment and let’s not forget your down right fascist foreign policy…….BUT NOT ON ANY OF YOU AS INDIVIDUALS
In fact that what disturbs me so much how such cool people can sit back while all this shit goes down in your name
A gun, a knife, a hammer, and a car…
Anyone over the most basic of IQ’s in the United States can easily identify what these things have in common. They’re all tools.
A car is a mode of transportation, a hammer can be used to knock things apart or to join them with a fastener, a knife can cut something and a gun is used to kill things.
When the second amendment was penned, we had a lot of things to kill. We had just over a dozen basic species of poisonous snakes(we technically have many more), some of the largest predatory mammals outside of Africa, a hostile native population and a parent nation that was not going to see one of its colonies succeed. Call it paranoia, or ancient history, but the protection of this tool was reasonable for the time, and a seed of liberty when the farm boys became the sharp shooters of WWI and WWII. The Russians were fond of their wolf hunting snipers, we’re fond of our deer hunting, coyote shooting variety.
Now flash forward to today, or rather 2004, when our best data comes forward. The United States had between 8 and 10 thousand intentional homicides by firearms. In the same year we had 16,694 drunk driving fatalities. Why are these two numbers related? Both are from the misuse of a tool. A gun is a tool for killing someone, but it’s a tool that has very strict proscriptions and prescriptions for when and where it can and should be used. Intentional murder is wrong. Every state in this Union has a ban on intoxicated driving, yet still we lose more people to drunk drivers in cars than murderous maniacs.
We estimate that there are 235,000,000 guns in the United States, most owned by private citizens. We estimate that there are 254.4 million cars. Even in comparison of percentages, we’re unable to make up the differences, why?
If we were to compare these on raw percentages, why is car misuse more prevalent than gun misuse?
Why would your solution of banning all guns be reasonable in this case? What statistical support do you have that suddenly banning firearms, somehow repealing the un-repealable 2nd amendment would solve this problem? How does blaming the tool solve this problem? Should we blame cars for their drunk drivers? Should we blame guns for their asshole owners?
Then I have to move on to your other bandwagon crap…
In the height of the English empire, the Brits rules their seas, colonies and possessions with a hubris few could compare to. From the Boer war, to the Boxer Rebellion to the Seapoy’s hanging from trees, the British committed war crimes. The war crimes tribunal, the UN, and even the nature of various constitutions, have at their heart an end to warfare of any kind. The goal is to find a way to discuss what is right and wrong and settle our grievances without a gun, but these solutions have failed to give us a world without war.
When the allies defeated Germany, the forced from the Germans and unconditional surrender, that resulted in a restructuring of the basic rule of German territory. When the allies extracted the surrender of Japan, the allies force the Japanese into an unconditional surrender, an interim government and a constitution that forbade wars of aggression.
When the first Iraq war concluded, partially unreasonable demands were made against the nation of Iraq that would have forced Saddam Hussein to either cede power or surrender the military capabilities he required to protect his power base. The United States at that time crafted this house of cards, fully expecting to return to the task. They buried 2.4 billion dollars of equipment in bunkers in the sands of Saudi Arabia, they spent billions if not trillions in the intervening years changing the nature of our military infrastructure. We fought limited engagements against the Iraqi’s to enforce the no-fly zone and other aspects of the UN resolutions designed to depose Saddam or to force an eventual conflict, and during that time, most nations party to the UN cheated the accords that ended that conflict and fed Saddam’s power base. Had the case for war been made solely on those accords, and not the charges of WMD, the United States could have moved forward with a much more limited operation, but a presidential administration lied to expand that playbook. They lied in a time when we had a valid reason to attack Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, a group of out of work engineers and religious nuts, most of whom were Saudis, were radicalized by an international terrorist organization working out of Afghanistan. They used a lax security model in outlying airports to take connecting flights to long range flights to New York and LAX, in a mostly successful attempt to gain control of tons of aviation fuel and the civilian transports and hostages within, in order to make them flying bombs. After a rapid investigation, we were able to prove the International Terrorists’ claims were correct and that these had in fact been attacks by the same terrorists who attacked our embassies in Africa and our warship in Yemen. We repeated our diplomatic calls to extradite these terrorists, but the Taliban refused even to negotiate. We threatened them with retaliation, they refused, we went in half cocked and assisted an internal force in the nation, to depose the Taliban. We did not engage in any form of containment strategy, due in large part to a presidential prejudice against Iraq, and this enemy filtered into Pakistan. That same enemy has returned to Afghanistan where they control as much as 85% of the territory.
There have been war crimes committed by both sides that are inexcusable. The deployment of Snipers, Helicopter Gunships and tanks are not part of this engagement.
The 50 caliber sniper rifle, that is a mainstay of some branches of the United States military is a weapon classified as legal and standard issue. Our soldiers in the field wear their uniforms, including insignia of rank. The use of camoflage and the gillies suits used to conceal snipers are legal. The use of snipers on military targets is not forbidden by military treaty or law, within a war zone. The United Nations recognizes Afghanistan and Iraq as war zones.
If you have a solution that can reasonably settle the grievances of both parties, then please convince both sides of this and move forward. Barring total conversion of the West to Islam, the stated goals of Al Qaeda and the Taliban are not possible. Barring the capture and trial of all parties to the 9/11 terrorist bombings, the United States will not be satisfied. Until both sides have had enough, this engagement can’t really end.
Stormy, on a personal level, fuck you. These few words are all I need to respond to your entire post, and any of your posts in the future.
Hey VCBecky spoken like a true American…….you must be one classy lady and your kids must really proud of you (I’m praying you didn’t reproduce though)
Jason my hat goes off to you……you debated the fuck out of me with a well articulated and thought out argument man……to be honest i have to consider a lot of what you said and think on it…..
Again. Personal level. Fuck you. Anyone who calls me a Nazi is worth only that.
The US is not at war on it’s own soil. What Malvo and Muhammad did is a civilian crime in any country. There is war going on in Iraq and Afghanistan, for whatever reason. You cannot compare a regular soldier who is following orders in war to Nazi death camp guards, that’s just plain silly. Snipers are not torturers, and every military has them. Have you ever heard of any military sniper targeting children? The elderly who are going about their normal lives? I think you see the difference, but you don’t want to acknowledge it.
I think Bush and his cronies should be prosecuted and if found guilty, imprisoned, if not put to death. It is dense of you to blame the soldiers.
Lee Boyd Malvo and John Allen Muhammad targeted ANYONE. They were not following military command, they were not fighting a war, they were not even protecting themselves. Why are you trying to introduce gray area where there is none?
I do not support the death penalty unless it’s for extreme disregard of human life. Someone like Charles Manson, for instance, should have been executed decades ago. I’d hate to know how much money he’s cost us over the years. It’s pointless to keep these beasts alive, to give them appeal after appeal and a better life than they could have provided for themselves on the outside.
How is it fair to take part of the taxes paid by the victims families to provide a dry cell and hot meals to these murderers? How is that justice? How can you think that’s right?
Too bad we don’t have an express lane for individuals like this that deserve the death penalty!
