Scarlett – a cat, a mother to 5 kittens, fell unconscious after saving each and every one of her kittens from a burning building. This meant she had to make five separate trips in and out of the house to save all of them. She suffered serious burns, and her eyes had swelled shut as a result. She still managed to use her nose to prod each kitten to account for them and make sure they were okay before collapsing.

Compare the woman who shook her baby to death for interrupting her farmville game because the baby was crying and annoying her.

Mind you, I’m not saying animals are perfect, some animals do some dick things out of animal instinct. But humans do them by choice – take Cheyenne for instance – it wasn’t just a choice, according to her, it was also a ‘joke’ apparently.

I would easily give any animal like Scarlett the same respect the heroes of our lifetime, my family and loved ones. By actions alone, the worth of this ‘mere beast’ as you may imply, far outweigh the worth of any human or otherwise scumbag who thinks it is fun or a good idea to kill, destroy, and cause grief ‘just because’.

Is that an insult to humanity? yes, and a well deserved insult at that. I don’t believe in this humanist entitlement you speak of – deserving is deserving, good deserves good, bad deserves bad – and though we may not all receive what’s coming to us, we should at least know and feel honored and proud or fear and regret that we deserve it.

i sooo agreee. When I heard of this I started crying that now my nose is blocked. I love animals. I think animals are worth more then humans. Were basically destroying earth. Animals don’t. Cheyenne is a very very bad person and I think she should be cooked to death in the microwave. The little kitten didn’t do anything. God bring the kitty back to life and send Cheyenne bitch to hell, and dead forever.

These spazbuckets can never spell what they feel most strongly about. “I love Satin”, “Negross”, “Hail Hitler” and who can forget the “Q” guy, Mr Soul Glow ChrisDiva. It’s like there was a single machine on the factory floor that was cranking out criminally stupid humans who cannot spell important things, probably so the rest of us would spot them quickly. I guess that’s easier than attaching penises to their necks, as has been suggested in an older thread.

I still like the dickneck option, though.

Uhmm, is ‘neqross’ a real word? Just wonderin’ – I like it and should include it in my vocabulary. I’ll just use it 10 times a day in conversation, say for maybe a week – I’ll use it at work and when I’m talking to my kids and neighbors. They’ll be so impressed with my command of the english lanquaqe -this is qonna be qreat.

If ppl don’t give a damn about something this heinous, that’s cold and ‘un-human’. Animal welfare may not be your passion Ivonne, but have respect for those who do care for these innocent, un-conditionally loving creatures. If you don’t have anything in life that elicits strong feeling for you, that’s a shame. But as a human-being, I don’t know any person with a heart that wouldn’t be affected by this cruel, heinous case. Imagine the pain a human would’ve endured in this case, an animal suffers the same. And the pain Tiger Lily was subjected to should not be merely brushed off and forgotten. It must be used, setting an example for anyone else with hateful intentions—think again, you may be locked up or worse.
