That's because when Pat's words quoted verbatim and within context instead of "summarized", they aren't nearly as offensive as these "summaries" would have people believe. But that's the case with 99% of conservatives who liberal propaganda sites like "Media Matters" target for defamation. One example is with a video in this very article entitled "Pat calls Haiti Earthquake Blessing in Disguise": If you actually watch the video, then what Pat was saying is that the earthquake ended up demolishing a large amount of condemned city infrastructure which had needed to be demolished, thus making it much easier for Haiti to rebuild and modernize - therefore this was sort of a "silver lining" in a dark cloud. The AP article just slapped a misleading title on the video in an attempt to defame Robertson, knowing that most people would just read the title and assume that Robertson was condemning the victims of the earthquake, when he wasn't.
