How Much Do You Like PYSIH?
So.
You say you love PYSIH.com, but do you really?
Are we a webpage you consider as a guilty pleasure or are we something you wouldn’t mind showing off to mom?
Over the years we’ve had a number of requests for PYSIH.com merchandise. Stuff like t-shirts and mugs and so on.
The problem we faced here, however, was that we can’t draw to save our lives. We have absolutely no artistic skill whatsoever. As proof, we’d like to show you this picture of a cat that we just drew:

So basically we’re complete and abject failures when it comes to anything artistic at all. Cats, after all, rarely have flippers. And we’re not sure that our cat wasn’t crossed with a bunny at some point.
The solution was to scour the internet until we found some of the best designers out there. Once we realized that we didn’t have the money to hire those people, we went around the block and asked the guy with the art degree who was begging for change on the corner to whip up some cool artwork in exchange for a sandwich. As art majors will usually tell you, a sandwich is a fair price for a day’s work.

It’s a nice mug, suitable for all sorts of things mugs are suitable for. Drinking, even.
Overall, we’re quite pleased with what our little sandwich slave has come up with, and ultimately we hope to sell enough mugs to finance the next PYSIH.com site redesign and maybe pay a writer or two.
In the meantime, we’ll be putting quite a few more designs out on many different types of merchandise. If you have something in mind that you really want, make your comments below – otherwise you’re entirely at the mercy of our creative whim.

Although after sleeping the night and looking at the cat drawing again, it is a majestic beast.
I would pay for a mug with the cat on it before the nice design. Be that as it may, I’m going to buy the nicer mug too so I guess that doesn’t matter!
Dude, we’re the same bunch of people who replied almost 100 times to a test post with some of the most ingenious, hysterical comments I’ve read on PYSIH.

My also told me I can’t order a mug so as soon as she goes to sleep tonight I’m going to take a credit card out of her purse and order one. I don’t want to use my credit card on the internet because I’m afraid of identity theft.
Anyway, I’ll hide the credit card statements and tell her I don’t know what happened to them so she can’t look at them and figure out I ordered a mug.
Then I’ll wait by the mailbox everyday until it comes so it doesn’t accidently fall into “enemy hands”. Then I’ll cover the logo up with duct tape and hide the mug in a box and put it in that dark corner in the basement underneath the oily rags by the water heater.
My wife is so dumb she’ll never figure it out. The perfect plan – I’m a fuckin’ genius.

Ok I love PYSIH. Not sure how I stumbled upon this site a couple years ago but it was probably from researching a case that was the subject of a “Forensic Files” episode. Anyway I was hooked at first sight. But please some clarification: who owns this site? One person or multiples. I gather that articles are contributed by various members/authors, right? What was the original aim or goal for this site?
Also I’ve always been puzzled by the vary name “People You’ll See in Hell”. It assumes that I’m going to hell or else how would i see them? Judging by the comments and the profile of an inclined reader for a cyber-sleuthesque website I just imagine the people that follow this site as pious, just people with well developed consciences who wouldn’t hurt a fly but are utterly intrigued by the depths to which other humans can stoop. Wouldn’t a better name be “People You Won’t See in Heaven?” I know, I know, it’s not as sexy and it doesn’t roll of the tongue the same but I think it’s more factually correct. Just my thoughts…

I think there are other marketing ideas PYSIH should capitalize on.
For instance, The Official PYSIH Brain Douche and Eye Wash Station, “For when you NEED to un-see it”.
Or “PYSIH” condoms to prevent infanticide before it happens. These should have the little devil icon on the reservoir tip, and “People You See In Hell” written along the side. You could also collaborate with Fleshlight for yet another great sex crime prevention tool.
And of course the PYSIH Cyanide Capsule, for criminals who are suddenly consumed by a sense of guilt for what they did. I don’t care how they die, just that they do it cheaply and with a minimum amount of fuss.

Perhaps you guys should do something like a coffee table kinda book, a compilation of the worst assholes on this site, the writing is mostly done, just need a publisher and put it on amazon. Or maybe a shirt with a few of the CRAZIEST looking people on here on the front and a simple “curious what they’ve done? PYSIH.com”
They’ve been out of the chrome steel travel cups for over a month, so i buckled down and ordered it without it. Flipper cat and the main mug are now mine.
