    UPDATE: Katie L. Stockton

CORONER SAYS REMAINS LIKELY KATIE STOCKTON’S BABIES
excerpts from an article by Matt Williams – The Rockford (IL) Register Star

Feb 04, 2010–Katie Stockton is the probable mother of two infants whose remains were found in the trunk of her impounded car, Winnebago County Coroner Sue Fiduccia said today.

Both infants, discovered Aug. 12 at an impound lot in South Beloit, are believed to be female and are not twins, the coroner said. It is unclear if the babies were born alive, and the cause of their deaths has not been identified.

“The DNA testing … is pointing that Katie Stockton is the mother,” Fiduccia said. “The investigation is continuing, and we are hoping that in this next phase of our forensic testing that we will be able to determine a cause of death.”

Police believe Stockton is also the mother of Baby Crystal, a newborn found frozen to death on the side of a country road near the home of Stockton’s parents on a cold December night in 2004. Stockton was arrested Aug. 5 after new information purportedly linked her to Baby Crystal. Investigators have not commented on the substance of the new information.

Although authorities say they don’t know when either of the two infants found last year was born, they believe it was after Baby Crystal.

Stockton faces 10 counts of first-degree murder in the Baby Crystal case. She has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Winnebago County State’s Attorney Joe Bruscato said he is bringing no new charges against Stockton at this time because the cause of the death has not been determined. Further forensic testing, which may lead to more answers, could take up to six weeks.

Without being specific to this case, Fiduccia said a person can be held responsible for not reporting a death. That could mean Stockton could face additional charges even if the infants were deemed stillborn.

“There is a law that you do have to report a death, so you cannot conceal a body or move a body without the coroner being notified,” Fiduccia said.

Winnebago County Sheriff Dick Meyers said the father of one of the infants in the car has been identified, but he wouldn’t say how his identity was determined.

Bruscato would not comment when asked if the other two infants had different fathers.

Meyers said they are seeking information from men who may have been involved with Stockton between December 2004, when Baby Crystal was found, and mid-2007. Stockton’s car was impounded Aug. 15, 2008, and had been at the impound lot up until the discovery of the two infants.

So it appears Katie Stockton is a serial baby killer, and that her victims are her own children. Normally, this is where I’d find something humorous to say about the perpetrator, but I’ll tell you my friend, I’m not feeling very funny at the moment. This story just keeps getting more and more horrific.

Obviously, there is something seriously wrong going on between Katie Stockton’s ears, but will it be enough to save her from the death penalty? I don’t think so, because the thing that’s wrong with Katie was born out of evil. I’m sure her defense will come down to some type of mental illness, but they will fail. Katie showed her true face when she lied about what happened to Baby Crystal.

But her biggest mistake was running when she caught on that police were about to arrest her. At that moment she told us all that she knew what she had done was wrong, and that she had no intention of taking any sort of responsibility for it. That is the textbook definition of legal sanity.

“So it appears Katie Stockton is a serial baby killer…”

OK, everyone here who is surprised by this news say “AYE!”
*silence…a dog barks off in the distance…a cricket chirps…*

      Yeah, that’s what I thought.

“Obviously, there is something seriously wrong going on between Katie Stockton’s ears…”
I don’t believe there is a word to adequately describe THAT kind of wrongness. Nope.

“…but will it be enough to save her from the death penalty?”
It better not be. If there is anyone I’ve read about here that truly, honestly NEEDS to die for their crimes, it is this depraved and soulless bitch.

    2. madamayhem says:

I want to have another baby so, so, very much right now, but am unable to given my situation (hopefully in the near future I can), but when I read about this kind of bullshit, all I can think is “The bitch should have given that baby to me!” She needs a serious death sentence involving a series of curb-stomps with a baseball cleat, delivered in such a way that the initial blows aren’t fatal. Make her suffer a bit before that final whammy that ends her, and whatever her fucking problem is. Ugh!!!

    3. ApriL says:

I think she’s going to try and claim some sort of psychosis, maybe she’ll claim PPD. I won’t give my opinion on PPD, but I think she has no defense if she uses that (and I was a juror). She has to pay for what she’s done, regardless of any excuse she may come up with. She definitely should lose her purpose of life, because she obviously sucks at it! Whether she is imprisoned for life, or put to death, she needs to be erased from society.

April there are so many people using that excuse and it clouds the women who really suffer under that condition. It makes me sick the ammount of excuses the left give to shitheads to get them out of jail and back on the streets to kill, rape and torture.

I’m no “radicle rightwing” gun nut. I am just sick and tired of working my ass off everyday and watchig more of my tax money going in to treating criminals like pampered people rather thna treating them for what they really are. Disgusting shitbags that need to be disposed of.

Punishment first then rehab. Education after they have served 3/4 of thier sentence. The rest goes to education and learning a vocation. It has been done in Montana and it works there. It will work everywhere but the liberals won’t let it. They need TV’s and TIVO’s and WII’s for rehab. Punishment doesn’t work piss moan slobber bullshit.

Punish the shitstains first then when they have earned it rehab.

        • ApriL says:

Rehabilitation (for people who abuse drugs/alcohol) should be used in first offenders only (IMO) and after that they should have to serve their time, I DON’T believe murderers, or rapists can be rehabilitated. I think they need to be locked up, and in extreme cases, be put to death. NO probation/parole for any SEX OFFENDERS/MURDERERS no matter what degree felony. If only it worked like that..

and mothers who kill their own children should die. plain and simple.

          • Dee Litefool says:

I just have trouble even conceptualizing how a mother could do that to a baby/HER baby! It makes my heart hurt, just thinking about the selfishness that these people, in this case this woman, had so that they feel they can take a life. THEIR CHILD’S LIFE. Sickening.

            • Barbobaggins says:

There’s actually been several women internationally who have done the same thing. They have a psychosis, essentially an extreme form of denial, that causes them to believe that they aren’t really carrying a child but rather some kind of non-entity. While they are aware they may get into trouble if they are caught they can’t conceptualize the infants’ personhood nor can they fully realize the ramifications of what they are doing. They usually dispose of the infants bodies somewhere nearby and convenient for in their minds they may never have been truly pregnant and are rather disposing of tumors their bodies had expelled. In one case the woman in question had living children who she did love and mother and while she could grasp intellectually that she had been pregnant with her following children and therefore should have given birth to living infants she could not envision them as living, rather to her they were born both soulless and dead and her actions were justified, rational, and right. Proper treatment for these women may have staved off their actions and saved not only the lives of the children but the mothers as well. The families in these cases tend to be aloof and they miss critical warning signs or they fear the stigma of having mental illness in the family and willingly ignore the woman’s behavior. Unlike PPD this disorder doesn’t seem to be caused by an organic chemical imbalance in the brain, rather some kind of thought-disorder (being a layman I’m not sure the technical name). It’s seemingly rare though, which is moderately comforting.

It’s a pity more people don’t think like you do. If that program gets results, it should be implemented everywhere.

        • Mrs. Antichrist says:

As a moderate liberal, I’d like to point out that the idea that we all want to coddle criminals, particularly repeat offenders, is a straw man. Most of the liberals I know, myself included, would like to see tougher laws for rapists, pedophiles and murderers. It is true that many of us would like to see drug addicts given treatment for their addictions, but only for first-time offenders who haven’t committed serious crimes. For those who are facing robbery charges, or something similar, I feel that addiction treatment should be given along side jail time. Many liberals agree with me on that point. First-time non-violent offenders or those who have only accumulated charges related to drug possession are the ones who we feel should be a given a chance; not violent, sociopathic criminals.

NONE of us want to coddle someone like Stockton. Her crimes are significantly more heinous that robbery or theft. Unless they can actually prove that she was suffering from PPD — and the fact that she had the presence of mind to try to cover up her crimes seems to indicate that it’s unlikely she was insane — or if, by some unlikely coincidence, the babies were all still-born (in which case, she’s still accountable for failing to attempt to get medical treatment or report the deaths; all of which is almost beside the point, given that it’s very likely the babies were born alive) she deserves a very, very lengthy prison sentence. Drug addiction isn’t an excuse for murder… and believe me, I’m not the only liberal who feels this way.

Sorry for the rant, I’m just tired of seeing so much political polarization, most of which seems to be based on a misunderstanding of the other side’s point of view. Conservatives and liberals alike need to work towards a better understanding of each others beliefs.

          • vcbecky says:

“First-time non-violent offenders or those who have only accumulated charges related to drug possession are the ones who we feel should be a given a chance; not violent, sociopathic criminals.”

This. Especially the “First-time, non-violent” parts. Some people do make mistakes. Some mistakes are acceptable, some are not. First-time, non-violent seems like it would be acceptable in most cases. If no one died, you weren’t being violent and you have no criminal record, ‘mistake’ is a possible cause and should be allowed. You should still pay for your ‘mistake’, but you should be treated with the benefit of the doubt and given any help necessary to prevent future problems. ‘Mistakes’ is part of what makes us human. So is blatant stupidity, but again it’s all about degrees and collateral damage.

Second time, even if it’s non-violent, is unacceptable and should be treated as such. If you don’t agree with a law, you try to change it. You don’t break it just because it is inconvenient or doesn’t fit with your personal philosophy. Trust me, there’s plenty of fun and craziness to be had in this world without hurting others and breaking laws that are in place to keep people safe and happy.

            • Mrs. Antichrist says:

Generally speaking, I feel that non-violent crimes should be dealt with on a case-to-case basis, but as a rule of thumb I agree that your second offense should be met with harsher punishment. The exact punishment should vary depending on the specifics, though; a second-time offense for petty theft should garner a harsher punishment than a second-time offense for drug-possession, as the latter doesn’t directly victimize someone. In addition, repeat non-violent offenders should still be required to complete some kind of program in addition to their jail sentence; may as well hedge your bets, right? Early-release based on completion of said program should only apply to those who aren’t repeat-offenders (as a general rule, anyway), and hinge on whether or not they showed a willingness to truly participate in the program or merely showed up because they had to.

Violent crimes, ranging from assault to robbery with the use of a weapon, deserve punishment even on the first offense. Rape, molestation and murder deserve even harsher punishments. Drug addiction isn’t a viable excuse for any of these things.

Katie Stockton pissed away any right to leniency when she killed her first child… and if that’s not enough, then the next two murders should be. She did what she did because she’s a nasty, selfish, vile person — NOT because of depression, drug addiction or whatever else her lawyers are going to blame this on. She’s scum, and her record proves it. No mercy for her.

            • Mrs. Antichrist says:

“If you don’t agree with a law, you try to change it.”

Just wanted to add that I completely agree with this.

          • Mulch says:

Mrs. Antichrist this will be a long post so get a good cup of joe, get compfy and relax. I have a number of questions for a “moderate” liberal. Now you might get a little pissed but please don’t because I mean no disrespect at all. I am hard right, anti liberal and 100% asshole. Jst so you know where I stand. But I am not stupid. Iam not some knuckel dragging cave man. I am law and order.

You posted that you want tougher punishment for criminals. In what way tougher? I want them to work 12-14 hours at hard labor. I want criminals to grow thier own food, sew their own clothes and build thier own prisons. They will be provided classes on how to do this and the mterials. After that? Fuck em. they want to eat they better make like farmer John. If they are cold then they better lay some brick.

I want crininals to serve 100% of the sentances given. No parole no out of jail early because he didn’t kill anyone. 100% No bullshit.

3/4 will be punishment hard labor. The rest dedicated to rehab and education. In the form of votechs. BUT only if it is earned.

I want the death penality for murder, rape, child sexual abuse and DUI when a death is involved and selling drugs. Using? No but I refuse to pay for free needles or rehab. I am clean and always have been. I played wih pot in high school but I grew out of that fast. Commit a crime to feed yer drug addiction double the punishment.

So I am law and order. I can prove that if a group of people do not allow crime or criminals there will be no crime. Is that not what any person with a family want? to be able to raise a family without the fear of harm coming to them from some scumbag that thinks he has a right to rape, kill and torture? I hate the fact that I have to teach my daughter to defend herself. I honestly do. But I sleep better knowing that she can…

What is a moderate liberal? Please define that for me as the 2 words together defy all logic.

            • Krista says:

As far as what is a moderate liberal…I guess I feel like I am one too. I believe in a lot of what you say about punishment and think every jail in the country should be like the one in Maricopa County, AZ and could only wish every sheriff were like Sheriff Joe Arpaio. I also like the idea of Angola in Lousiana as a model for prisons everywhere…an actual working farm where, as you said, the prisoners grow what they eat and have to work to live. I honestly think the moderate liberal comes not necessarily out of crime and punishment, but other political views; ie. global warming, abortion, gay rights, etc.

Personally, I do not believe in the death penalty. Although you don’t agree, in my opinion, if just ONE person is executed that was not guilty that is far too many. I live in a state with the highest post conviction DNA exonerations in the nation; some of them after serving 27+ years and some of which had been on death row. I do believe some people give false confessions, which has been proven.

As far as punishment, I believe murder, rape, molestation, and DUI murder (IMO) should send you away for life. And, I do believe there should be a death penalty if there happens to be a convicted person who opts for it (I know how stupid that sounds, but I imagine some people would rather take the easy way out). If you want to read about a seriously questionable murder conviction, take a look at the West Memphis Three. There have been documentaries made about them and it seems these 3 young boys were mostly convicted of wearing Metallica T-shirts in a small hick town where they were misunderstood.

The other think about a moderate liberal, in my opinion, is I think they tend to listen to all sides before making a decision about what they believe. From the right wing people I have met, they don’t seem terribly open-minded about anything. The only way to make any progress in the world is for ALL people, right or left, to have an open mind and really listen to each other and come up with solutions and not more problems. I realize that is an unrealistic ideology, but one can always hope, right?

            • vcbecky says:

Mulch, I agree with most of what you’re saying. I consider myself to be more center than left or right, but I agree with most of it. I take things on a case-by-case basis, which is why I can’t label myself. It’s too confining.

As far as drugs, I make it no secret that I smoke pot for a variety of reasons. I don’t go running around with pot leaves stuck in my hair and I have no tattoos with joints on them, but I use pot like others use a glass of wine at night to unwind. I’m a far cry from being a criminal or drain on society, but I do smoke pot daily. I grow it legally according to California law (I am licensed) for my personal use to avoid helping gangs and so I can monitor it’s quality. I do not sell it. Never anything harder than pot, and an occasional shot of Jagermeister about once a month, if that. I support an adults ability to decide what they’re going to do to their own body, up to and including suicide. I think some drugs should be legalized, TAXED and regulated. If people want to kill themselves with drugs, so be it. Darwin away, folks! We regulate too many things to keep stupids alive. You have a brain. Use it or lose it.

What bothers me about prisons is the ‘vacation’ feeling most of them have. PS2? I don’t have a gaming console aside from my computer! 8 hours of sleep a night, heat and air conditioning? Who gets THAT all the time? I don’t have cable because I work too many hours to bother with TV. I skip meals if I cannot afford them or I don’t have the time because, again, I work long hours to support myself. I don’t have a free gym membership either.

These wastes should upkeep their prisons, grow their own food, be forced to be self-sufficient. I have no problem with my taxes supplying the seeds for them to plant or the equipment for them to make and do what they need but prison should be hard labor. There are criminals who prefer it on the inside. That alone should tell us something!

      • madamayhem says:

I had PPD for a while after my son was born, so I understand the reality of it, and not everyone experiences it, thank goodness. PPD can come in different forms of severity. I’d say that mine was probably typical, and I know that there are some women who become psychotic due to it. Fortunately I didn’t, but even so, I felt guilty over my situation. My doctor told me about a family member of his who had a psychotic type of PPD, and she had wanted to hurt her baby. Thankfully, she was able to recognize that these feelings were not normal and was able to ask for help and get treatment. After a month or two, her feelings resolved and she was appalled that she had even had those feelings. Maybe she was one of the lucky ones. Part of me thinks that women who suffer from PPD should be able to recognize that there is a problem and get help before it is too late, but maybe that isn’t always the case. In this situation though, there is no excuse for this to have happened THREE times. After the first baby, once her hormones got back to normal, she would have likely felt remorse and owned up to what she did. Even if she hadn’t owned up to it, she probably would have made an effort to not let it happen again, and to get help for herself once pregnant a second time. Maybe I am completely off base because you can never be in anyone’s head, but I do not believe for a second that this was PPD or any other type of psychosis. If it was a chronic mental illness of some type, I think her family would have noticed something was off and that she was a risk. True chronic psychotics do not pick and choose when to be crazy, and the condition would not have manifested itself just long enough for her to kill a baby, only to subside immediately, therefore someone would have probably tried to get treatment for her at some point before or during her pregnancies. This case appears to be nothing other than just plain EVIL, which is clearly not the same as having a mental illness of any kind. It is a shame that a psychosis defense will probably lighten her sentence, but ultimately the verdict will be hell.

        • Mrs. Antichrist says:

It’s really difficult to believe that Stockton was suffering from postpartum psychosis, given that she had the presence of mind to dispose of the bodies and attempt to hide what she had done.

          • madamayhem says:

Exactly! That is another great point. There’s just too many factors against the PPD theory, but will the jury see it? I hope so.

          • ApriL says:

I don’t think it was PPD, I was just guessing her defense. My best friend had PPD with her first, and then had a still-born son with her second at full-term. There is no excuse for this woman, regardless of what she and her defense may come up with, I am sure any jury will think the same.

    4. Fred says:

As far as finding the fathers, who is going to admit to being with her?

          Thanks.
This type of bitch is the reason why I stopped drinking at bars when I go in alone…..
I was at a singles dance and some really older lady caught my eye and she knew it – I saw her start to undo a few buttons on both her shirt and skirt………. I tool a few more gulps of my beer and she started to look better…… then I pushe dthe beer adide and ordered a Coke.
I also remember the MAD Girl – at 10 she was ugly and cold, by 2 a.m. she was gorgeous & hot!
Seriously I may have been a little more interested in that woman that night if she did not act like she was something soo hot…..

But this girl could pass herself off as a human being given enough alcohol and minimal lighting…

          • Mulch says:

Dude? I mean DUUUUUUUUDE now you know why I DON’T go out to bars. A strong but gentle right hand, an internet connection……..

HAHAHAHAHAAHA Who the fuck am I kidding?

    5. The Bosses Secretary says:

What the hell were they doing in her car???? Was she collecting dead babies like some people collect postage stamps?

    6. Oceanic says:

I’m still baffled as to how no one noticed that she was pregnant not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES.

      • dooflotchie says:

And this is why I believe she is not going to convince a jury that she was mentally ill in any way. That defense could be viable if we’re talking about ONE baby. But we have three. 3 separate times she had 9 months to deal with an unwanted pregnancy which she could have aborted, given to a safe haven, adopted out or kept. 3 times she gave birth to a full-term baby, one of which was proven to be born alive and then left to die of exposure. For the purposes of this discussion I think it’s reasonable to assume that the other two were not stillborn, of course the state will try to find the evidence to prove that in the meantime. So that means there were 3 separate times when she deliberately made the choice to give birth then kill the baby. They’ve already determined the two babies in the car were not twins, so with that evidence and the Baby Crystal case the state now has 3 opportunities to nail her worthless hide to the wall.

Here’s what I’m betting will happen:
The state will go ahead with the Baby Crystal trial first, since that case has been developed for a longer time and the evidence is fresher and more plentiful. Of course that means they will not be able to introduce any evidence found with the two babies in her car, but there’s a chance she will be convicted of murdering Baby Crystal and while she is serving time for that (or hopefully sitting on Death Row) the state will gain more time to build a case against her for killing the other two.

I’m sure I’m only 1 of about 568,415,875,148,652 other people that want to see her fry for what she’s done, but I’m fairly certain that no matter what the outcome of her trial we will not ever have to worry about this murdering junkie whore walking free.

        • Sanveann says:

Ditto to everything you just posted.

She had SO many options. How does anyone think — not just once, but THREE times — that this was the best one?

My heart hurts for those poor babies.

          • Mulch says:

            And you are not alone.

That is why I hate these scum as much as I do. that is why I want them to feel pain much worse that what they gave out. that is why I have becomre so creative as to how they should really be punished. I love my daughter more than life. She is so innocent. Babies are more than innocent they are helpless.

I honestly don’t care about the PPD theories. All that I have read about it, and it wasn’t a little either, is that it is a dramatic hormone imbalance but all at once. Well there is pre-treatment and also treatment for it. Hormone scientists are looking to develope a blood test to test before and after pregnancies. If they really do then there is another excuse out the widow….

    7. CP says:

This bitch need to have her uterus pulled out from her asshole without benefit of anesthesia. Millions of women would have loved to give those babies a good home. It sickens me when a woman can just reproduce at will and then abuse or kill their children. She’s an animal of the worst kind. Stick HER in the trunk of a car in the freezing cold and let her rot there.

    8. Doomofworlds says:

should have chosen abortion thats legal murder in america see all you baby killers in hell unborne or other

      • NavyCop says:

It’s only legal in some states. However, I vote that pre-conception abortion would have been the appropriate route. Swallow, for crying out loud!!! Even the Bible says “better to let your seed fall into the belly of a whore…”

        • josh kelley says:

wrong thats not in the bible bout belly of the whore there no such verse sorry if it is in your bible i would like to know book chapter and verse sorry not there i have told my dad this for going on 9-10 yrs now

          • NavyCop says:

You are absolutly right. Upon further research, I’ve discovered that that phrase is actually taken from Genesis 38:9 – 10 “9 And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother’s wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother. 10 And the thing which he did displeased the LORD: wherefore he slew him also.” Judah, Onan’s father, wound up impregnating his daughter-in-law, because he thought she was a prostitute. Sooo, the moral of the story could be “It is better to let your seed fall in the belly of a whore than to spill it upon the ground.” But thank you for the correction. A little knowledge goes a long way.

      • vcbecky says:

Without abortion there would be a whole lot more suicide and child abuse. There would be more crime and more criminals. More victims, too. More overcrowded prisons. A more broken system in general.

Until you can guarantee every single baby born in America will be perfectly healthy, will be well cared for and nurtured by at least one person who wants them and can afford to raise them, you have no business painting that issue with such a broad brush.

Rather than being outlawed, abortion should be more closely regulated. Circumstances like rape, incest and if the pregnancy is detrimental to the mothers’ health must be taken into consideration. People should not be allowed to use it as a form of birth control. I knew a woman who would use no birth control and would get pregnant two or three times a year. Abortions were easier than the pill and her “boyfriends “hated condoms. She’s probably dead from AIDS or something now. Good riddance.

Actually Katie had access to and aborton clinic not far from her home. She could have taken that option. It wouldn’t have made her a better person and she’d still burn in hell for it, but at least the stupid whore wouldn’t have her dumb ass sitting in jail right now and baby crystal wouldn’t have froze to death. If given the choice i think I would have preferred to have been aborted rather than dumped on the side of the road in a trash bag unloved, unwanted, and freezing during a cold northern Illinois winter. It’s so cold up here that your snot freezes in your nose as soon as you walk out that door and you eyes sting from the cold air. I can’t even begin to imagine how poor baby Crystal felt out there all alone. OMG! It’s just so freakin unfair.

Poor thing she didn’t even have a chance. : (
My god, could you have imagined what all 3 of those children would have gone through if they had survived? Living their lives with that THING as a mother. And her poor little boy is going to grow up knowing that his mother is this SICK TWISTED souless piece of human excrement. NO! Not even human! She is the shit upon which Satin walks on that falls out of the asses of demons in hell! She is absolutely DISGUSTING! I can’t wait for her to come to her day of judgement before the lord and for him to cast her straight to hell. Untill then I don’t even wish her the death penalty. I hope she has something far worse. A long life in a dark cell with only her guilt, the thoughts of the things she’s done, her twisted sick mind, and the ocassionally cell mate that beats, rapes, and tortures her daily to keep her company.

I believe that abortion is the best kept as the one issue that I’ll leave in God’s hands. Personally, I have a hard time with it, but I would never tell someone they were wrong to do it or judge them harshly for going through with one.

Basically I find that I’m such a sinner myself that it’s best to leave the judging to God and just try to treat other people the best way I know how.
