WOMAN GETS 15-TO-LIFE FOR FATAL DUI CRASH

05/30/2010 – A young Santa Ana woman apologized moments before she was sentenced to 15-years-to-life Friday for killing a popular ice hockey player in an early morning crash in La Habra more than a year ago in which her alcohol level was three times the legal limit.

Brittany Deanne Schuetz, 21, who had previously been convicted of drunken driving in 2007, was found guilty of killing 26-year-old April Junhee Whang in the Feb. 1, 2009, crash in La Habra.

April Whang’s family and friends – wearing black T-shirts with April’s name and hockey number – filled the courtroom gallery.

Edson, Alberta, Canada, a small town in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, has about 8000 residents, and one of them is a murderer.

The victim was 14 year old Emily Stauffer, the daughter of the local Pastor. She was intelligent and loved to sing and play the piano and violin. She came from a loving family, and, as with most crimes of this nature, didn’t deserve to have this happen to her.

When this horrific crime took place the entire town was put on curfew and it’s citizens warned not to engage in any vigilante activity. At the same time, the RCMP searched for a suspect, who was originally thought to be a hitchhiker or visitor.  No one ever suspected that the murderer was one of their own, an married equipment operator for the town who also worked odd jobs.

On March 19th, 2010, in Opinion 2010-Ohio-1155, The Court Of Appeals for the Eleventh Judicial District in Ashtabula, Ohio rejected (wait, I have to say this again cuz it just feels so good – REJECTED) Timothy F. Poling’s appeal of his 2008 conviction for 2 counts of Rape of a Child and 4 counts of Gross Sexual Imposition, for which he received a sentence of life in prison plus five years.

We caught a lot of hell from Timothy Poling‘s family, most of it along the lines of denying the incidents of rape and sexual abuse ever took place. They called Lisa Szparaga, the babysitter, and Chastity Eichele, the young victim’s mother, liars who had brainwashed the victim and committed perjury on the witness stand. They also claimed Szparaga’s boyfriend was the real culprit. These arguments have now been proven to be, as I always suspected, meaningless and, if they were aware of some of the assignments of error in Tim’s appeal, bald-faced lies. The best part is, this was all made possible by their own words.

Allow me to explain.

It never ceases to amaze me the lackadaisical attitude some parents have regarding the supervision of their children. I don’t know how many times I have pulled one of my neighbors toddlers out of the street.

Some have accused me of being too over protective of my kids because I have always had an “in-sight” or “arms length” approach to my kids. No, I’m not a helicopter mom, but I know where my kids are at all times.

It all stems from an incident with my oldest when he was an infant. One day when we were shopping and he was sleeping in his stroller, my attention wandered away for a second and the next thing I knew, a strange man had undone the safety straps securing my infant son to the stroller and picked him up. Needless to say, I freaked out in the middle of a very nice department store.

I am a huge fan of the website and have read some of the most horrific stories on here, people who truly belong in hell.  The story I have to tell you is one of 5 people who will undoubtedly be there, because they decided on a beautiful afternoon to go ‘hang out’ at the mall, pick someone randomly, take them to a golf course and ……. Well, I’m not going to give away the ending.

The unlucky child they chose was 13-year-old Nina Courtepatte, who you can clearly see from the photos was a beautiful young woman. She never knew about the evils of the world, and could never have imagined what was in store for her after these five sick twisted fucks tricked her into taking a ride with them one April afternoon in 2005.

Corrine Baker (Her MySpace page), the mother of a 4-year-old Argentine Township boy who was brutally beaten to death a couple of weeks ago, could spend the rest of her life in prison.

During a press conference Friday afternoon with Argentine Township Police Chief Daniel Allen, investigating officer Arch Ravert and Genesee County Sheriff Robert Pickell, Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton announced that the prosecutor’s office had probable cause to charge Baker with second-degree murder and second-degree child abuse.

Second-degree murder carries a sentence of up to life in prison and second-degree child abuse is punishable by up to four years in prison.

Not so long ago if I saw a roving band of teenagers or preteens I used to groan with an insufferable amount of annoyance. I simply don’t like them. Now I see them, and wonder how many of them would be willing to murder one another over a video game, or an unseemly text message. The trend in the media indicates to me that more and more of them will succumb to their only partially developed instabilities. It seems like some of the most heinous crimes are being committed by kids nowadays. Can we say Jordan Brown, for instance? I just don’t understand. Can’t you kids go write angsty poetry like I did back in the day?

Well 15 year old Wayne Treacy couldn’t.

This is 49-year-old Danial Rinehart.

He cleans up well.

15 years ago, in 1995, Danial Rinehart had a five-year-old daughter named Ashley. He had other daughters – eventually three of them – but Ashley would always be Danial’s favorite.

That may have been because Ashley was smart, cute and had a great personality.

It could also have been because Ashley Rinehart was Danial’s personal sex slave.

From the time she was five, Ashley was her father’s sexual toy and breeding partner.

With all that sex it was just a matter of time before she got pregnant. In 2004, Danial Rinehart impregnated Ashley with her first baby, Ethyl. Ashley was 14 at the time.
