There are many different types of faces of evil in the news everyday. Child abusers, murderers, pedophiles and rapists to name a few. Every Time I read about these pieces of shits I’m often left wondering what drives them to commit the heinous acts that they do.

Justin Berban Alvarado, 20, Robert Cruz (a.k.a. No Good), 25, Brian Cyr (a.k.a Sushi), 34, Rudy Hettler (a.k.a Dopey), 26, Clifford Vansyckle, 30, Guadalupe Villarreal, 30 and Michael Yaws, 33, were all arrested for the murder and torture of 28-year-old Corey William Baxter.

Robert Cruz baited Corey William Baxter into a Northeast side home garage in San Antonio, Texas on March 4th, 2007. You see, they were upset with Corey because he allegedly claimed to be a member of the Texas Syndicate prison gang.

Burnaby, British Columbia, art dealer Kenneth Robert Klassen, when interviewed by police, confessed he was “guilty of loving women too much.” Is that a crime? That bit of boasting kind of makes him sound like a Casanova, a real ladies’ man. And in his mind, I’m sure the divorced father of three did consider himself a great lover of women.

The problem is that in his twisted little mind “women” is defined differently that it is for the rest of us. The rest of us think of women as adult females. For Kenny boy here, “women” are female, preferably prepubescent. Yup, Kenneth Robert Klassen likes his “women” as young as he can get them. This would make his idea of “loving” closer to our idea of child molestation and rape. Closer? Spot on, I would say.

Tyler Weinman, who had been charged with the killing and mutilating of cats in South Miami-Dade County, is now in the clear after an expert witness determined the cats were killed by predators, and not a human being.

“There was no crime. It was just a witch hunt,” said Weinman as he spoke to reporters from his attorney’s office. “They just went crazy. They wanted a warm body to hold up in front of everybody and it’s terrible.”

His attorney David Macey told CBS4′s Jim DeFede that Tyler found out the charges had been dropped when pre-trial services called him to tell him he could return the ankle monitor because he had been cleared of all charges.

I detest drunks. I won’t judge someone for drinking but I won’t hang around anyone that is drinking either. I grew up around a drunk so I like to think my very strong dislike for drunks comes from seeing it first hand and feeling like alcohol and drugs were always more important than me and my brothers were. There is something I hate more than drunks though, and that’s dumb asses that get behind the wheel while they’re drunk.

I don’t know how my brothers and I ever lived to adulthood. Our family drunk put us in the car nearly every day and drove. It had to be by the grace of God or Allah or Buddah or some deity that we never ended up in a wreck.

The novelty of giving life to a new human being is sometimes more joy than people can take and they go absolutely giddy. Most young parents we know are so slap-happy with the birth of their baby that we are inundated with photos and videos of their new offspring.

Some couples are so caught up in the whole procreation thing that they videotape the actual birth and then show it to friends – now THAT is a couple that is still in the WOW phase of parenthood.

The point is that couples and new babies give us something that we can relate to, take joy in and leaves us generally with a warm feeling.

But what happens when thoroughly evil beings partake in the creation of life? What then?

If you saw a man beating on a woman what would your reaction be? Would you stand there and watch? Do you intervene? Do you run away or say it’s none of your business? Maybe call for help?

Three construction workers inside the same home did nothing on the day of February 9, 2007. They made the conscious decision to not intervene while a 1-year-old baby boy watched his mommy and her friend get beat to a bloody pulp and then left to die.

Dana Jo-Rita Conley, 38, a former postal worker in Austin and former Sergeant in the Army, and Julius Lee Conley, 39, a Travis County corrections officer, of Round Rock, Texas had many problems in their marriage when Dana decided to end her marriage. Julius was very abusive and controlling and she finally gathered the courage to leave him and file for divorce in September of 2006.

SEX CHARGES DROPPED DUE TO SUSPECT’S ILL HEALTH

Federal prosecutors have dropped an Internet sex case against a retired Air Force major because of his rapidly deteriorating health.

In court documents filed recently in U.S. District Court, retired Maj. Reinaldo Canton revealed that he had been diagnosed with a life-threatening heart condition. The stress brought on by a trial will put him at risk of death, his attorney argued.

“If Mr. Canton is forced to continue with prosecution, either by entering a plea or preparing for trial, he will face numerous additional stressors, which will increase his blood pressure and likely lead to his death,” Canton’s attorney, Ben Hamilton wrote.
