LUKE WRIGHT SENTENCED TO 40 YEARS TO LIFE

Luke Wright, who was convicted last month of raping and torturing his mentally disabled sister, Laura Cummings, was sentenced to 40 years to life in prison on Tuesday in Erie County Court.

Wright did not speak before the Judge Michael D’Amico handed down the sentence.

Laura Cummings, 23, was found dead in her family’s North Collins home in January 2010. Prosecutors say she had been beaten, tortured, sexually assaulted, and scalded at the hands of Wright and their mother, Eva Cummings.

The District Attorney’s office was seeking the same sentence for Wright that had been given to his mother, Eva Cummings, 52 years to life.

Life was looking good just before 6:00 p.m. on July 15, 2008 in the Quebec City suburb of Lévis. People were out and about in the sunshine, and in one particular neighborhood some young boys were having fun riding their bikes around. And then inexplicably life changed.

Out of nowhere drove up a stranger in his Chevrolet. He stopped the car beside the boys on the bikes, jumped out and unbelievably, astoundingly grabbed an eight-year-old by the head, threw him into the trunk and drove off.

Alec Beaulieu, a neighborhood boy, saw it all, as did a few other people. Apparently the monster saw no problem kidnapping in broad daylight in front of witnesses.

The total number of comment reached, and then exceeded, 700 by the third day after the HBO Documentary premiered – The most comments a story has ever received on our site, outpacing it’s nearest rival by at least 200 comments.

Jamie Lynn Orman had a lot to be happy about in October of 2009. She had recently moved out of her apartment and into the home of her new boyfriend John Lawrence. By all accounts the couple were incredibly happy and neighbors were pleased to get to know John’s new girlfriend. In fact, some of the extra appliances that always seem to end up going to storage when two households combine were passed on to neighbors by this generous couple.

Jamie’s three sons, whom she shared joint custody with her ex-husband, were at Jamie’s new home to spend some time with their mother. This was an unexpected stay but Jamie and her ex-husband still had a workable relationship and behaved like decent human beings, which is the way adults are supposed to do when children are involved.

WALDROP PLEADS GUILTY IN BABY’S DEATH, SENTENCED TO LIFE

A Red Bay man originally found guilty of capital murder in 2007 whose conviction was overturned on appeal accepted a plea offer for murder during a hearing Tuesday morning.

Jody Wayne Waldrop, 33, formerly of Red Bay, pleaded guilty to murder and was given a life sentence by Circuit Judge Terry Dempsey.

Waldrop was originally charged with capital murder in 2005 for his role in the death of his three-week-old son, Chance.

A jury found Waldrop guilty of capital murder in August of 2007 following a week-long trial. Waldrop was given the death sentence by Dempsey, but the conviction was reversed in March of 2010 by the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals.

After 18 months in prison for a child pornography conviction, Scott Lake Elementary School’s former principal, John Stelmack, is about to be a free man.

A three-judge panel of the Second District Court of Appeal in Lakeland ruled Friday that photographs he had were not child pornography because the nude bodies shown were those of an adult.

Photos of the faces of children, one of them a Scott Lake student, had been placed on those bodies, but none of the photos actually showed children nude.

Allow me to introduce you to two big pieces of shit from Homosassa, Florida. The one on the left with the shit stain on her chin is 26 year old Crystal Jean Ciampa. The one on the right with the double chin is Crystal’s 26 year old boyfriend Joshua Louis Heater.

You see Crystal Jean Ciampa is somewhat of a hopeless romantic. She has had five sons with three different men before settling down with Joshua Louis Heater. But there was something bothering Crystal; something that kept her from enjoying her new boy toy. Crystal’s five-year-old son resembled the man who was both his father and her ex-husband. This was a problem for her, and the boy had to be punished.
