This is 41-year-old Danny Parker. Danny is a wonderful guy. He’s a Sunday School teacher. He volunteered at the Lakeland Acres Baptist Church and at a youth camp at Lake Wales Care Center.
Danny’s just a great guy.
Danny is also a pedophile.
Danny Parker specifically likes little girls. He likes them a lot. He likes them so much that he took pictures of his favorites while they were at church and while they were at camp. And when Danny Parker got home, he savored the little darlings as only a true pedophile can.
In 2009, Danny Parker was caught with pictures he’d created to satisfy his desire to view little girls as sexual objects. Danny had gotten a little creative with his photography, however…a little wily.
Danny had read an interesting case about another pedophile that had gotten caught in his area. This other pedophile, 60-year-old elementary school principal John Stelmack, had been arrested in 2007, sentenced in 2009 and released in 2010 after a judge decided that the specific kind of child porn that Mr. Stelmack had created wasn’t really child porn.
The pictures that Danny masturbated so furiously to consisted of faces of the little girls that he had taken photographs of, which had then been cut from their bodies and pasted onto explicit pictures of adults. Presumably, this allows the pedophile to look deeply into the eyes of his beloved 6-to-12 year old fantasy woman while rubbing one off to a more socially acceptable body.
Or something.
While Danny Parker had been arrested, convicted and sentenced to 5 years, on the 29th of September, his conviction has now been overturned by the Second District Court of Appeal.
The court ruled that while Parker’s behavior was reprehensible, his actions don’t add up to trafficking in child porn.
The crudely constructed depictions, fortunately, leave no doubt that no child engaged in the sexual conduct. Accordingly, we cannot conclude that Mr. Parker possessed child pornography. The legislature’s words constrain us.

Everything in life, good and bad has started out as a thought, an idea, a small gem implanted in the mind of a creator that let it grow and flourish. Have you ever heard the term in crime shows etc that the “perp is escalating” their crimes getting bolder and more brutal? Hate to break it to you but thoughts can’t be illegal. Is he disgusting? Yes. Should his thoughts land him in jail? No. How many times have you had a violent thought? Would you like jail time for everyone of those thoughts? It would be wrong and unconstitutional to put people in jail for thought. I will admit it seems like he will escalate at some point but until he does no one has the right to put him in jail.
I think that you are missing a point here. I agree with you that no one can be sent to jail for their thoughts. However, this guy went way beyond just thoughts. He stalked young girls, took pictures of them (without their parents’ consent) and created pornographic montages of them. These are ACTIONS, and it’s just a temporary fluke that he can’t be arrested in his jurisdiction for these ACTIONS.
I don’t know if you have any children, however, just imagining someone doing that to your child (and imagining why he did it) might put things into perspective.
This didn’t remain a thought. He wasn’t being investigated for thought crime. He was being investigated for creating pornographic pictures involving children.
Don’t be stupid. This isn’t about “thought crime”, it’s about having already put those thoughts into potentially harmful action.
If I think about bombing a plane I can’t be charged because no one would know I was thinking it. If however I wrote down a plan for bombing a pane that elevates it to the level of a terroristic threat and I can and will be charged for it. It ceased to be a “thought crime” when it created the first image, when it ceased to be just an idea in it’s head.
The definition of pornography as defined by the Supreme Court is “I know it when I see it”. There is no set definition for what constitutes pornography, but the Court ruled that common sense would dictate as to what pornography is and is not. Thoughts are not expressed as pictures of children taken (without consent) and pasted on a woman’s body. Thoughts are what are in your own head, once they become actual figures or actions, or pictures, they cease to be thoughts and are thereby subject to legal action. And since the definition of pornography is “unable to be defined, but will know it when I see it”, then the court has every legal right to bring criminal charges against this man, and every single parent has a legal right to sue this man. The church has a right to press charges against this man. If these were just mere “thoughts” then there would be no basis for any charges/lawsuits, but once he took a concsious action (taking photos of little girls, getting them developed, cutting the faces out, pasting faces to older girls bodies) he crossed into creating child porn. Any time in that process he could have stopped and then it would have been a thought crime, but what he did was intentional and according to the I’ll know it when I see it precedent, I firmly believe he made child porn.
I’m not sure that this constitutes pedophilia. Would pasting puppy faces on women’s bodies be bestiality? It’s weird and twisted, no doubt. Does anyone know if the girls he photographed were known to him? Super creepy.

He’s thinking of underage girls when he’s doing his thing to those pictures. Yes, it might not physically be a girl he’s looking at, but you’ll never convince me that he’s not thinking about someone underage. The court is saying that if it quacks like a duck, moves like a duck, and acts like a duck but looks like a goose it’s a goose. Danny boy is not interested in legal women. He’s a danger and shouldn’t be allowed near little girls, espeically with a camera.
True, the spirit versus the letter of the law. The thing is, we can’t punish him for what he’s thinking, only for what he actually does. That’s exactly why we have a bill of rights. I can’t charge someone with a hate crime just because he thinks certain things about me as a black man, I can only charge him with a hate crime if he attacks me because of it, because thinking racist thoughts, while repulsive, isn’t illegal.
Luckily the feds don’t have the heads as far in their asses as most states do… manipulated images that amount to kiddie porn, and these images would qualify, are illegal. If Danny had sent the images to someone in another state his ass would be staying behind bars. So while the images are legal where he is, they have been deemed illegal somewhere, and barring a Supreme Court challenge I don’t think this loophole is going to be around very long.
Technically what he did was legal where he is. But ask any reputable psychologist/psychiatrist- this is only step one on the perv ladder. Show me a pedophile who is free on the streets and I’ll show you a pedophile who hasn’t been caught yet. Or who has and has gotten off on a legal technicality.
Good thing sites like this publish photos. Hopefully if he shows up at a playground with a camera an angry parent will recognize him and make sure he doesn’t want to come back. I don’t see why we should give guys like Danny who manipulate the law for their own pervese use the chance to molest a child.

There’s still a chance that someone will get their picture but I like to think it’s slightly less.
The law can’t punish intent. I don’t think there’s an “attempted porn” charge, which is what this is. But the intent is there – he is sexually fantasizing about children. Which leads me to wonder WHY he bothered to put it on sexually explicit pictures of adult women that he’s not interested in anyway…I probably don’t want to know the answer.

I agree with KHR. I do not want my daughters picture- hell even my picture (or my dog to go that route) being jerked off to by anyone. I will go as far as I need to to protect them. Pictures now, stalking little girls later to get new pictures later… step by step..

What is really disturbing about these cases is that in this case and in the Stelmack case is that they took pictures of little girls they had access to. Anyone trying to debate that they didn’t view these girls in a sexual light after that (probably before but definately after) is a delusional idiot. Allowing either man to go free anywhere near their victims is like giving someone with a tendency towards arson a can of gasoline and a book of matches. They might not act on their impulses, but there’s too much at stake to risk it. The argument has been that this is a ‘victimless’ crime- to which I say talk to the children whose lives were ruined because of this. Too many people during previous discussions would rather wait until a child has been molested/raped to call a pedophile a pedophile. Perhaps they don’t have kids, because I’m not willing to risk mine.

I just cannot wrap my head around paedophilia. Have any of these fucknuts actually spent any real time in the company of a child? I have three, and I adore them because I’m their mother. But aside from that, kids are smelly, they fart, they have snotty noses, they don’t always brush their teeth properly, sometimes you’ll be doing the laundry and find little skidmarks in their underwear. No matter how well you teach them to look after their personal hygiene, it doesn’t always take until they’re older. So how the fuck does any grown man look at a tiny person, without any real formed sexual identity, and all of the above- mentioned nasties, and think “Hmm, I’d like a piece of that?” These so- called “people” clearly have something VERY wrong with their wiring and will never be able to function as normal members of society.

How useless, how extraordinarily painless, it is to take a child’s life. It’s so much worse (and more pleasurable) taking the life of someone who has hit his or her prime, who has the beginnings of a full history, a spouse, a network of friends, a career, whose death will upset far more people whose capacity for grief is limitless than a child’s would, perhaps ruin many more lives than just the meaningless, puny death of this boy.
Technically no, he didn’t molest any children (as far as anyone knows), but isn’t it at least illegal to sneak pictures of minors without their parents’ consent? I’m sure the parents are not happy about this and would NOT be okay with their children’s faces being pasted over graphic porn. Isn’t the photos and defacing of them a crime enough to lock him up for awhile?
I wonder if there’s a civil case in any of these. Mental trauma resulting in the need for therapy, it could get expensive. And if they aren’t paying in jail they should have to pay somehow, and making them so poor they can’t afford a camera or a computer would be a good start to prevent them from doing this again.

Hopefully Florida lawmakers get their heads out of their asses and close the loophole, but all too often it seems like someone has to get hurt and get national media attention to light a fire under politicians’ asses. Before I forget- I checked around at a few other sites related to this story (and can I say how disgusting it is that a Google search doesn’t bring up this POS so it would be harder for parents to be warned). The line I see repeated a lot is that ‘no actual child was harmed’. People seem to think that if the perv doesn’t touch the kid or take an actual picture of the kid getting harmed it’s not a crime.
I found out when I was in high school that one of the male coaches had been watching the locker rooms through one-way glass while we were showering and changing. It took me years to stop changing in the bathroom when I was at the gym/pool/wherever. I couldn’t change in changing rooms for a while unless they had a full door and I could make sure there was no hidden compartment behind the mirror (I found one store I could shop at). Up until I was pregnant with my first child I would prop a chair up against the bathroom door when I was showering so even my husband couldn’t come in. I still can’t wear shorts in public, I refuse to shower anywhere but my own home, and I’ve had to speak to a therapist. I’m probably going to have to go back before my daughters start school or else I’m going to freak out that someone is watching them. Yes, the perv in my case saw me and my classmates in the buff. But no, I don’t think there’s that much of a difference. The children in these stories know that Danny took a picture of me, and was later found with a stash of pictures of me and my churchmates/campmates heads photoshopped onto someone else’s naked, violated body. That has to be traumatic in and of itself. Someone you trust violating it so deeply. I’d be willing to bet that anyone who looks into these kids’ behavior in ten years would find that many of them aren’t leading completely ‘normal’ lives because they’re afraid due to what happened. If that doesn’t make those kids victims, I don’t know what will. NO child should have to suffer because some dickwad found a loophole in the law. We should be standing up for the victims here, not coddling the pedophile because he found a way to beat a system that’s always two steps behind the latest technology.
Oh, the ways people will come up with to circumvent the law. The law can’t be written so that every perv hell-bent on becoming a certified hellbeast won’t succeed but it can be modified and let’s hope now it will, just as we see it continually being morphed to catch up with technology.
Human innovation has given us many, many wonderful things. This isn’t one of them and I highly doubt it’s what people think of when they encourage ingenuitive thinking and developments.

I’m no lawyer and I certainly don’t know the intricacies of the law in Florida, but I was thinking it might be worthwhile for the parents of the children to pursue an image copyright violation for each altered image. The story doesn’t say (or I missed it entirely) whether Parker was trading them or selling them or what – but the term “trafficking” seems to imply it, giving the basis for a copyright complaint.

To everyone who says they would kill anyone who molested their child… I don’t have kids (yet), but I understand the sentiment. But I have to tell you about my ex-partner, S. When S was 20, a LONG time before I met him, he found out his father-in-law was molesting S’s 3 year old daughter. S went over to his father-in-laws, they got into a fight, and in a rage he killed his father-in-law.
As a result he spent 9 years in jail (aged 20-29) for manslaughter and missed out on 9 years of his daughter’s life. She ended up becoming a heroin addict and died at the age of 28.
Maybe in the US, you would get away with killing your child’s molester but I don’t think so – and then your child would be minus a parent while you served your time.
I understand why my ex-partner was driven to do what he did, but I so wish for his and his daughter’s sake that he had just called the police.
In the States, not doing anything about a violent crime one may witness is more serious than defending someone from violent bodily harm and killing the attacker in the process.
So the police would have been called. then after a few days the case would have been moved to CPS. After a few months some fat ass would be handed the case and then maybe just maybe some one would have acted.
With pride I would go to jail to defend my daughter, with my head held high.
I would rather go up in front of 12 people, show them the picture the asshole ‘made’ of my one of my daughters in the case of Danny Parker or say what had been happening to my little girl, and let them decide my fate. If they thought I deserve time in prison for protecting her, so be it, but this is one of those cases the prosecutors would rather make go away with probation and community service. If the media got a hold of it I bet even Nancy Grace, who loves being a hard-ass against perps, would be applauding me.
So, yeah, I might not be able to kill them because I have a soul and I would probably stop myself before they were dead. But I doubt I’d spend much time behind bars. And even if I spent the rest of my life there I would do it happily to make sure no scumbag POS pedophile touches my daughters.
Ms. Me, I agree with you. I think most parents of victimized children would want to exact severe punishment. know I would. But if my daughter had been harmed by someone, I think she would be better served by having me in her life and helping her heal, rather than knowing I had taken the life of her abuser. Plus, there is the risk that your child will somehow feel guilty for your incarceration. I would have to put my own wants and desires (ie the head of the abuser on a stick in my front yard) aside to do what is best for my daughter. That being said, if I thought I could do it without getting caught, well……
I understand this feeling as well….especially as a parent. The only thing that might stop me from killing someone who harmed my child would be the belief that at that moment my child would need me the most…and I wouldn’t be much use to them locked up.
Self defense for my child. If I walked in on it happening i would be defending my child while getting them away from the person. if I found out about it, well my dad, brother, uncles, nephews, step dad, her father, uncles, need I go on? Any one of them would be fighting to ‘right’ the person harmed their niece/daughter. I wouldn’t like my brother or father locked away. A couple uncles on the other hand… :) I do know that I would have to keep my daughters in mind so I could not go on a killing spree I would like to. As of now sitting in front of a computer with that pos in my city and my daughters at school I can not safely and accurately say what I or my family would do in that situation.

I could almost – ALMOST – give this guy a pass. I’ll assume he didn’t choose to be sexually attracted to little girls. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that at least part of the reason he (apparently) stuck to masturbation rather than actually molesting a child is that he knows that the latter is harmful to the welfare of the child. But you know what? This guy deserves hell, unequivocally. Because he chooses to be in a position where he works with children. What’s the line from that prayer he’s probably said a million times at church? “Lead us not into temptation”? If he’s truly never touched a child at this point, I find it hard to believe he could hold out much longer when he surrounded himself constantly with the objects of his attraction. I do hope that even if he wasn’t forced to serve out his sentence, he won’t come away from this with a clean record. I hope there’s something that will come up in a background check if he decides to relocate and play his sick little game somewhere else.
Every time I read a story like this my heart aches, for all the children and for my two babies, surrounded by all this evil. My babies are a 2 yrs girl and an 11 months boy, they are little now, so i always have an eye on them even when visiting relatives. But when i think of them in the future, starting school and having other activities out of my sight I feel scared so scared, that I wish i could build a bubble around each one of them that no one could surpass, so it would protect them from any harm. This world is so fucked up… and getting worse day by day.
I have often thought when reading stories about mothers and fathers beating their small babies/toddlers to death because they wouldnt stop crying or didnt potty train easily enough, that I found that stage with my kids the easiest.
Their needs are basic physical ones including lots of love, but as they get older the emotional guidance they need frightens me with the responsibility sometimes.
I dreaded the conversation with my daughter about her private areas and no one is allowed to touch etc for days. I needed to give her age appropriate advice without scaring the shit out of her. That Chapter was missing in my imaginary parenting book.
From time to time I come across this website and applaud your sanity to create a blog with freaks who truly deserve eternal life in the hellfire, but more importantly deserve to be burned alive in this life time as well. What disturbs me about this case and all pedophile cases is that the law does not protect the children from these sick people. If you go to the family watchdog website, you will find most of the pedophiles are clustered fuck around a got damn school or church or even in apartments where there are a lot of children living in them. I do not think these fuckers should be allowed back into society, they should be killed on sight. Not allowed back out to commit their crimes. Freedom my ass for those who think they should be allowed back into society, pedophilers steal children’s freedom to live by even looking at them.
Did he hurt anybody? No. God it sickens me how people judge others like him. If he’s such a great guy, why is he locked up in prison for 5 years? Nobody chooses to be a pedophile. I can’t believe that this is on this website. He drove drunk? Really? Yes it is bad. And it makes no difference that he was a cop, Not to me anyways. I guess cause I live in such a bad area that it baffles me that he is condemned for drunk driving. I remember reading such horrible stories on this site. SO he didn’t kidnap several little girls (or even ONE)? He didn’t torture and rape the little girl(s)? No one was physically harmed by him? were the girls that were in the photos made uncomfortable by him? did he at least touch them? Cause this here to me sounds like a case of restraint on a sick mans part. He could have just kidnapped them, tied them up somewhere repeatedly rape them, And then kill them. But no he took pictures of little girls, Cut the heads out of that photograph and then pasted them onto a picture of an older body? Just to masturbate? He deserves hell for this? You’re upset, but not really at this website. You want to vent and are willing to crusade troll to do it. Drunk Drivers are murderous assholes who rather than swallow a bullet, swallow or smoke into oblivion and then beg forgiveness after they’ve killed a few families worth of other drivers. This particular pedophile is part and party to a former principal who was featured and discussed prominently on this web site. He took pictures of girls at his school and made paper dolls out of them with porn stars. That man had access, had the fantasy and was moving up the ladder to predator. This creature too is headed down that dark and unforgivable road.

I lost friends to a drunk driver. I lost friends to bullets. I lost a friend to a knife in the hands of a racist. I lost faith in humanity and I regained it in a single night when I saw something I will not be able to describe to any other human being, without a few more days of grief. And I shouldnt have to proof read and do all those things just to post MY opinion on this site. Those are my feelings at the moment that I read the story. I was not upset by anything I read on here. My first two posts were honest mistakes and was just trying to say that because number one I hadn’t read the story yet. And to say that I couldn’t believe the story would get posted on here when its about a child molester would make me seem like I condone that behavior. Which I do not. I understand he is on his way down a bad path, A path that he will NEVER be able to come back from. But to say that his actions are just as disgusting as an actual molesters isn’t right.
And the only thing I can really say is how do you know what the intentions of this site are? I understand people don’t run around in masks. Like I have said a few times, I am a lot of things but an idiot is not one of them. I wouldn’t think that someone does run around in masks and what not.
I have lost family members to violence and drunk drivers. I have kin that have been raped. I grew up in a household with molestation. There are a lot of things that make me sick, But one of them is people who easily condemn others. And drunk driving is the lesser of two evils to me I suppose. And what exactly is it I am?
I’ve spent a few years on this site, commenting, venting and even contributing. From time to time, I’ve argued with people who come here and claim to understand passages of the Bible and spouting off about casting the first stone–they usually haven’t finished the chapter and are often the kin or friends of the monsters featured on this site.
What you came here and did, was condemned the people who rightfully shared their opinions in the form of contributed articles. You judged them for their judging which is one of those cyclical logic things that doesn’t really fly.
How do I know what this site is about? The first place I went was the About page. In the previous version of the site, Admin, who wrote that little passage went into slightly more detail, but it still boiled down to a Prison Guard who had to look a lot of monsters in the face, who was glad they were in there instead of outside.
As I have repeated several times, I came here after this website made a post about Michael Gagnon in early 2008, just after he’d killed my friend Bethany, 3 of Bethany’s daughters and one of her step daughters. I was angry, I didn’t communicate that anger and grief very well, and then the Gagnon clan showed up and tried to defend what Gagnon had done as “an accident,” “just God’s will,” or some other platitude that didn’t really cover what Michael had really done. He smoked marijuana to a degree that would have required a gravity bong, was so drunk 2 hours after reaching the hospital, he was barely conscious(and way over the legal limit), at the scene of the crime he fought EMT’s who should have been helping others try to save the life of the 8 week old baby, who died a short time after reaching the hospital.
This website helped me focus my anger, my energy and my grief. I attended grief counseling, I wrote letters to the presiding judge and I cheered when Michael got 43 years for driving the wrong way for multiple miles and killed so many people.
What is this site about? It’s about communication. It’s about explaining why you believe something, supporting it, and openly saying exactly what you need to to get those ideas across. Some people cuss up a storm, and that helps them. Some people are incredibly eloquent (Homer, VcBecky, and many, many more). Some don’t come around as often. We have a great administrator and editor named Max the Cat, but in real life he’s dealing with some pretty serious medical issues and hasn’t been around for awhile.

I dont disagree that DUI homicide should be a capital crime. But my whole original point was, No one was hurt in that accident, only his van. Not even him. I don’t condemn people for their beliefs, I just think that the way people describe hell is HORRIBLE, Only the really truly bad people should suffer for eternity. A guy who drove drunk and hit a tree, Not so much hell worthy. Thats my whole point. I have been coming on and off for awhile as well. The way I found this site was when a group of boys were caught video taping them killing a guy. And they posted the damn video. FOund the site and have been coming back ever since. And to have stopped for a a couple months and come back to a guy who drove drunk and hit a tree. it was a rather steep jump. Now while I think he should have gotten in a lot more trouble than he did, Not necessarily something I thought I would read about on here. Thats my point.

Its insane I just read about a guy pleading guilty to a case of possessing child porn in the form of cartoons, drawings of children, not resembling any known children yet this guy has the head picture of an actual child. :(
The problem wasn’t the pictures, or it wasn’t the big problem. The problem was that he liked little girls, he knew he liked little girls, and yet, he still chose to stay in a position where he has the power to harm little girls, as a teacher.
To paraphrase Dan Savage, no one chose their sexual attraction, but you can chose what to do about it – and where it’s harmful, attraction to children – never act on it, and don’t have children yourself, don’t work with children. It’s a terrible affliction, if you are attracted to children, you didn’t chose THAT, but you do chose to ENDANGER them by being near them.
There are adults-only cruise ships, try and get a job on that okay?
