  • Jerry Sandusky

Jerry SanduskyBy now just about everyone has heard of adventures of Jerry Sandusky, the former Penn State assistant coach who, as it turns out, enjoys raping little boys.

On the 4th of November, 2011, Jerry Sandusky was arrested on 40 counts of molesting eight young boys over a 15-year period.

It is believed by many people that these early accusations are merely the tip of the iceberg and that quite a few other people will be unwillingly yanked into the light of molestation accusations.

According to Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett, he is expecting more victims to reveal themselves, as has happened in other cases like this.

If I’m to speculate, I wouldn’t be surprised if we had more victims come forward.

We here at PYSIH can only hope that happens. This whole case stinks to high heaven. Look at what’s come out so far…

    • Stifled accusations against this coach of molestation of young boys since 1995, possibly earlier.
    • In 1998, he’s investigated for sexual molestation of a child by University Police, State College Police, Centre County District Attorney, Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, and a child protection agency. No charges are filed.
    • Assistant coach Mike McQueary testified that, on March 1, 2002, at 9:30 p.m., he entered the locker room at the Lasch Football Building at Penn State and heard what he believed to be the sounds of sexual activity coming from the shower. He looked in the shower and “saw a naked boy, Victim 2, whose age he estimated to be ten years old, with his hands up against the wall, being subjected to anal intercourse by a naked Sandusky.” This, of course, goes nowhere after McQueary starts a game of “telephone.”
    • Someone decided that Sandusky should not be allowed to bring children onto the Penn State Campus in order to rape them.

All sorts of interesting rumors are being thrown about at this point. Was Paterno involved? How much was he involved? Did Sandusky pimp out his young friends to his older friends? Did he molest all 6 of his adopted children? Did he molest any of his foster children? Did Jerry molest any of the children that go to the elementary school right next to the Sandusky house? Did Jerry molest any of the children that play in the playground right next to the Sandusky house?

Post any information you find on Jerry’s kids in the comments below. We look forward to your input. Not the same kind of input that Jerry Sandusky gave out, please.

    1. Jerry says:

I’ll hold off on condemning him to hell until we’ve heard from everyone who was molested, but I’m certainly down for chaining him to a St. Andrew’s cross and scourging him until the waterboard setup is ready. I’ll get the truth out of this mofo one way or another.

      • zillah says:

Awww, we’re waiting for full victim lists and convictions now? No fun. :)

      • ForlornW says:

I have absolutely no need to hear from every one of the victims. One is enough, especially combined with the other witnesses.

        • Julie says:

Kids lie, you know. It happens all the time. They should not be believed as a knee jerk reaction without proof. At least a lie detector test, if no physical evidence exists.

          • Cape Town Girl says:

Your comment makes no sense in the context of this story. The accusers are now adults and there was an adult witness to the boy being raped in the showers.

            • Cleo says:

Thanks, Cape Town Girl, for posting the reply I wanted to in a much better and more tactful way than I would have.

            • Nic says:

Hate to correct you here, but according to the indictment, there were two adult witnesses to the assaults and another two who witnesses the insistant calling/harrassing. There are also numerous child witnesses. No need to wait for anything, if you ask me.

      • Gregory says:

You are waiting until the full victims list is compiled to condemn him? The sodomizing of a ten year old child isn’t sufficient? What’s the threshold here? I say the threshold is zero and this monster crossed it repeatedly and with impunity from the details put forth thus far. His interview with Bob Costas should give you all the insight needed to sign this man up for a public lynching. This sociopath spoke in a monotone during the whole interview and came across as one serious sociopath.

      • Brett M says:

Thank you Jerry Sandusky, for your input LOL

    2. LionLucky says:

If this sort of sordid shit went down at my college, I’d transfer. After I finished throwing up, of course.

    3. eekamouse says:

Yay! a new post!!!!! Missed PYSIH!

      • CookieParty says:

Yes, i agree to an extent that it was cool to see a new person to avoid seeing in Hell. However, my stomach turns at the thought of what the victims endure in order for this page to exist.. I just about go to tears when i think of the victims that haven’t even been acknowledged yet. That’s enough to kill any enjoyment/interest i mAy have ever expressed in ALL THINGS ROTTEN. PYSIH makes the old site Rotten.com look like a scrapbook of mild filth.

    4. Miwist says:

I guess I question why McQueary didn’t do more. He mentioned it to the boss, nothing happened, and that’s the end of it?
      Why didn’t he confront Sandusky?
Too many unanswered questions and too many rumors.

However, unlike Jerry, I’ll go ahead and condemn Sandusky to hell even though I don’t have all the facts.

    5. Smilee says:

In regaurds to the dismissal of the coach with the tight lips: I just wish the reason the students were rioting, was because of the children possibly being raped, instead of a sport being “dissed”, and a dumb ass “coach” being “dismissed”. Good gawd, he shoulda retired already anyway! If it’s found out that he’s a pedo too, wow…

It just sucks that “sports” trump rape. Just look at how many love Kobe. It’s disgusting.

    6. Ratter says:

I want to know why McQueary didn’t call the police. That, in and of itself, should be a crime. Who the hell can walk in on a child being raped and not call 9-1-1? Smells fishy to me.

      • Jason says:

Who can walk in on a child being raped and not stop it? At least try to stop it? How about someone throw a chair or something?

        Let me get this straight.
Step 1. You walk around a corner and you see a young boy being raped by a grown “man.”
Step 2. You run up and rabbit punch the grown “man” until he stops.
Step 3. Tell the young boy to run.
Step 4. If he tries to fight you back, you kill the “guy” in self defense.
Step 5. You’re declared a national hero on PYSIH

        What happened:
Step 1. “I say, there’s a boy getting raped in there, perhaps I should withdraw and make a telephone call.”
Step 2. While the boy is being raped, he make several telephone calls and no one responds.
Step 3. He waits until a national scandal breaks out to come forward.
Step 4. He’s reviled for decades.

I just don’t get it. I’m not even that violent, and I’d throw a punch first if I saw and adult raping a child. That’s hard wired.

        • KHR says:

Thank God for PYSIH and a little common sense in this case. Why McQueary still has a job raises more questions than answers. It looks like the college is trying to save face by throwing people under the bus rather than making it seem like justice was truly done by taking anyone who had knowledge of this and chucking their asses out quicker than someone can sing the school song.
By firing some and not others the college is just showing that sometimes an institute of higher learning could use some themselves.

        • Smilee says:

I love the list! It’s amazing how many people hesitated when I asked them what they would have done. Several times I had to fill in the blanks, as they just looked at me clueless.

Perhaps this list should be a standard in schools.

        • marina says:

If mcquery saw sandusky hitting the boy instead of raping him woud he have stopped that? Fucking coward, Texas dad needs to take himself on the road we need him!

      • Cleo says:

And it’s not just that he didn’t call the police — McQueary continued to work with this perv for years. I couldn’t stand to be in the same room, the same building, the same campus with a predatory pedophile whom I know rapes little children. OK, maybe the same room — if it were locked and I had a taser, baseball bat and a vice to crush his nuts.

        • Jerry says:

But McQueary was a grad assistant when that particular incident happened (2002), and Sandusky left the Penn State coaching staff in 1999, so they weren’t working together.

    7. CaliMommy86 says:

I totally agree, McQueary should have called police after he allegedly saw Sandusky raping a young boy. Oh hmm, theres a grown man raping a poor decenseless child. What to do? Oh I know… Ill walk away and pretend nothing happened… Who in their right mind sees something like that and does nothing?

Hell.. screw calling police, I’d have grabbed the nearest mop/broom and dished out even worse pain than Sandusky was inflicting on his poor victim.

    8. Artsy B says:

I believe that McQueary, along with Paterno, should have been fired. McQueary could have done more, obviously, to stop the crime when he saw it happening, and Paterno could have done more, besides just calling his boss of all people.

The fact that people are defending the school and the football team, saying that Paterno didn’t deserve to be fired, is SICKENING.

And the fact that supporters of Paterno can only come up with the defense that he wasn’t the one touching kids is even more disheartening. Paterno could have called the police, or even confronted Sandusky himself, or SOMETHING. But just reporting it to your superiors and calling it a day and taking the mentality that it’s no longer your concern isn’t enough. Especially when you, and your superiors, have different priorities than the police, (and not the university police).

Sandusky.. Well I hope he goes to jail for a long time. The bastard established what was perceived as a benefit for troubled youth, only to exploit it in order to rape little boys.

And honestly? If Paterno is hiring a lawyer now, it could mean two things. One, that he truly did do something more, and no one knew, or two, that as more victims come forward, he knew what was going on all along, and chose his career and colleagues over the welfare of innocent children.

      • Steve says:

Not defending Sandusky…not by any stretch. But put yourself in Paterno’s shoes. Some guy comes up to you and tells you what he saw. Now, if McQueary was the one who told Paterno, how certain was he? That is, how adamant did he make his accusation? Perhaps Paterno thought the same thing: if McQueary were absolutely sure, wouldn’t he have gone to the police and/or punched the shit out of the sick fuck? No, but he does say he contacted someone in a position of authority. Paterno would have assumed, more than likely, that these people contacted the police – and that an investigation was forthcoming. The failure was from McQueary and the people in charge at the university, I don’t think it was with Paterno. Though, a proper investigation could prove otherwise…

    9. Rob says:

Maybe Sandusky can play center for hell’s football team, all bent over and exposed for the laughing demons to play with.

    10. deb says:

This is the most disgusting thing I have ever heard of. All that goes through my head for the most part is the fact that all of those so-called men at Penn State, after they were told and saw what Sandusky was doing, continued to watch him come and go at the University at will. They KNEW he hadn’t stopped what he was doing, but you have to protect the almighty sports program at Penn State. McQuery should be fired, not placed on leave b/c there have been threats against him. There has to be some crime that he committed by walking in on Sandusky having anal sex with that boy, then walking right out and going to his daddy and then Joe Paterno. Every single one of them knew that when they didn’t hear anymore and Sandusky continued to come and go that nothing had been done about it. They sacrificed at least 8 boys’ wellbeing for the sake of Penn State’s football program, and I too will not be surprised if there aren’t more victims that come out once they find out that this is really being carried through with and not swept under the rug as before. I read an article that said “Where you see 8 boys, there are probably 80.” Or more, even.

Sorry to write a book here, but as an abuse victim, I am so angry at them all. No one cared about those boys. In hindsight, Joe Paterno, you just didn’t care.

    11. Miwist says:

I’m willing to give Paterno the benefit of doubt – by the time shit got to him it may have been minimized – ya’know, the angle McQueary saw what he ‘thought’ he saw – he misunderstood Sandusky’s showering with a kid – whatever. So I can see Paterno telling Sandusky to leave little kids out of the locker room, people are beginning to talk, don’t want any rumors and shit.

But then we get back to McQuery – you walk in on someone assfucking a 10 year old kid, it’s probably not consensual – so what the fuck? You walk out and make a mental note to mention to someone tomorrow? If somehow it works it’s way into conversation?
I see McQuery just as culpable as Sandusky – sometimes doing nothing is as bad as doing something.

And how in the fuck could McQuery work with Sandusky after seeing this shit? Gawd, that would make my fuckin’ skin crawl. Maybe I’m just different.

      • PS says:

Except Paterno admitted to the grand jury that McQueary was visibly shaken when he reported the incident (McQueary drove to Paterno’s house and spoke to him in person) and McQueary stated to Paterno that there was something sexual happenning. So, even if he didn’t know the specifics, he knew a crime had been committed against a minor, and did next to nothing.

      • ForlornW says:

Someone having sex with a ten year old is definitely not consensual.

    12. KHR says:

I can’t imagine walking in on a grown man raping a 10 year old boy and not shouting “What the fuck are you doing!?!” as loud as I can. I mean, I yell it all the time when I see my daughter doing something bizarre (minus the curse word, more ‘what in the world…’) Of course, I might be so upset I’d just sucker punch the guy. But slinking out of the room as though I didn’t see anything and not telling anyone for a day is completely out of the question.
But that’s enough about McQueary. My keyboard can’t take the pounding I want to take out on Sandusky, because as much as the story is about how he RAPED CHILDREN it seems like that is sort of the one-sentence lead-in on the news before things switch to the college itself or JoePa. If he worked at a lesser college under an unknown coach the whole story would be about him, and the firings would be an afterthought. Unfortunatley for the victims they’re getting screwed again by being ‘blamed’ for the firing of a legend.

    13. zillah says:

I pretty much hate everything about how this was handled and how the mainstream/sports press is treating it. The least of it is how some news outlets and ESPN insist on calling it a “sex scandal”. Um, no. No it’s not. An athlete having affairs with grown women is a sex scandal. This is the rape of little boys. Molestion and rape are not sex scandals! My god, this is basic, it’s elementrary, and if they can say that on tv with a straight fucking face, then rape awareness has been set back 30 years.

      • KHR says:

You’re right. A sex scandal at Penn State would be Sandusky providing hookers for the team or something. Call a spade a spade- a million and a half politicians have had ‘sex scandals’ and have survived politically and the general public is almost immune to the term now.

      • Daughter of the Firmament says:

The proper word for this situation would be “abomination”.

    14. Anon says:

I am disgusted to the core, but not surprised by these things. Hasn’t the catholic church been doing the same thing to children? There is no grey area. These monsters; perpetrator, observer and condoners, are all guilty.

    15. Smilee says:

Apparently Sandusky’s own lawyer impregnated a 16yr old, when he was 49. ew.
Molesters unfortunately are comming out the wookwork like cockroachs when you turn out the light. ew.

    16. hedkracker says:

Now now people just remember Mikey Jackson had this same thing going on and he was proven innocent all 25 trials or whatever it was both MJ and Jerry are just misunderstood they really really really really loved the kids.
But ill say this, seeing how this happened since 95 and kids around ten yrs old then. That means they are full grown men now 20- 25 maybe, put Jerry and all the victims in a room and let them work it all out amongst men Im sure justice would be served and then he can burn in hell.

    17. Smilee says:

After hearing this freak romantisize about raping boys while giving his now-famous phone interview, I’m convinced he’s a sick fu$% and surrounded himself with other of the same character. His lawyer, his co-workers, and his charity should all be checked out, and fumagated.

    18. KHR says:

Can we have a question on the Bar Examp- would you defend a child rapist? Answer yes, no pass for you.

      • KHR says:

*Exam, not examp. I’ve got a baby and a little one with a cold. Sleep hasn’t happened for me the last few days.

      • ForlornW says:

That doesn’t work, though, it would break our legal system. In order for it to work, someone HAS to be there to defend even those we *know* are guilty – someone has to be there to force the prosecution to prove its case. Absolutely has to happen. While we can consider people who knowingly defend scum for the money only to be scum as well, there are those who do it because without that piece, there is no chance for anyone else to be proven not guilty. I mean, it wasn’t that long ago that everyone *knew* Patsy Ramsey murdered her daughter. Both parts, defense and prosecution, are needed.

I hope your little ones are feeling better. That’s so difficult. :(

    19. USS Yorktown says:

There are some equally sick freaks who are defending this wretched sick pervert.

      • Cleo says:

I don’t know what kind of proof it would take to convince them that Jerry is an out-and-out perv and pedophile if the testimony and evidence already exposed isn’t enough. Jerry should just “man up” and admit what he did instead of spewing nonsensical “horseplay” crap. How horseplay could result in a grown man’s dick getting lodged inside a small boy’s anus, I can’t fathom.

    20. The Bosses Secretary says:

If I walked in on a man sodomizing a child, I can just see myself standing there staring like an idiot for a minute. You know, one of those “Am I really seeing this happening?” moments.

And then I can see myself screaming, “What the fuck are you doing?” and with any luck, picking up a baseball bat or a bottle or something to beat the living shit out of the adult doing the deed.

Another psycho kill-the-freak interlude for the Bosses Secretary. Perhaps I need stronger medication. The drugs I take probably couldn’t prevent me from attempting to kill the son of a bitch.

      • KHR says:

It’s a gym locker room. There’s got to be plenty of good shit there to kill someone with.
Who the fuck engages in ‘horseplay’ naked with a naked 10 year old in the shower of a university? Why can’t his defense lawyers shut him up? The more I hear from him, the more I want to beat him myself.

      • Homer says:

You know, TBS, I’ve been giving this a little thought. If I walked in on a man raping a boy, my reaction would probably be exactly the same as yours – intitial disbelief, then total rage. I can also see myself standing there, frozen, before the reality of what my eyes are telling me sinks in. Then I can see myself looking for a suitable weapon to beat the shit out of that pedo bastard, before letting the fucker feel the full force of my fury.

There’s just one little problem with that scenario: in this politically correct day and age, if that boy refuses to testify – which, under the circumstances, would be more than understandable – you’re screwed. Why? Because then there’s only your own word against the pedo’s that your actions were justified, and any lawyer worth his slime would have no problem whatsoever shooting your argument full of holes filled with reasonable doubt.

They were only indulging in a little horseplay.

        You misinterpreted the whole thing.

You had a grudge towards the “victim” of this “heinous assault”.

        Yada, yada, yada fucking yada.

And the end result would be that you would get charged with assault and you would be the one going to jail, not the pedo motherfucker. And said motherfucker would of course sue you for everything you’re worth, and milk his status as a “victim” to the n:th degree. Though everyone involved in the investigation would know the truth, one whiff of it to the media and you’d be sued for slander as well. And the pedo would have learned his lesson – next time he has a bit of “fun” with a boy, he’ll make sure he won’t be interrupted.

So what should you do, then, to avoid this scenario? Simple – take out your mobile and take a couple of pictures as evidence. Then, when the fucker becomes aware of your presence – and the fact that you’ve taken pictures of him raping a boy – move slowly away from him. This should ensure that he thinks you intend to run off with the pictures that could ruin him, leading him to see you as the main threat, which in turn should see him leaving the boy alone.

Then, when he tries to take the mobile from you, you kick him full force in the nuts (this way he attacks you first, and you can always claim you acted in self-defence), lock him in a storage cabinet or something (or if that’s not possible, kick him in the nuts one more time to make sure he can’t move for a few precious seconds), before leading the boy to safety and calling the police.

The only question is, would you have the presence of mind to think that rationally in a situation like that?

And speaking of such situations, I just have to mention something that’s already been said several times – how the fuck can you witness a child being raped AND DO NOTHING??????? This I will never understand. Whatever excuse that fucker gives, it’s not enough.

And what are the stats, for ever vic brought to life the pedo has abused a couple dozen kids prior? • Cleo says:

I got ahold of Max the Cat last night. He is improving in health but is having sleep issues and is very tired. Administration, could you please contact Max via phone and help him access the back end of PYSIH so he can help maintain it again?

      Another note:

Rather than limiting this just to the “Lust” tag, I’d be inclined to put this entry under “Pride” as well, because what we’re dealing with, both with Sandusky as an individual and with Penn State football/Penn State as a whole, is people who feel they aren’t bound by the rules of the society that surrounds them.

    28. Cleo says:

        Yeah. What Cleo said.

I have been tossing about in my head a story. The guy who murdered my friend back in 2006. Recent events from him & his family made me even more determined to do a write up. Even if it means having to read all the grisly details of the murder and going through all the court transcripts. Jamey deserves as much.

        • Cleo says:

While we wait for administration to post new articles, I can put your writing up on hellbeasts dot com. I set it up for PYSIH readers to enjoy while we await the return of Max. There are lots of new articles there already.

Well I am still trying to get through the asshole’s stupid “book” that supporters of him posted online. Its a long rambling read. Once I wade through his crap, I gotta then go get the court transcripts. Then it should be pretty easy to write up. Ill submit it to both sites.

      • Cleo says:

Sounds like you got your work cut out for you. I am always amazed that murderers can find so many supporters. We had a murderer in our family and nobody but nobody in the family wanted anything to do with him for the rest of his life. He died in a bathtub, drunk on rubbing alcohol, after slitting his wrists. And good riddance to him!

          • Cleo says:

It amazes and appalls me that killers can even find romance in prison. David Shearing, who killed 6 people and raped the two little girls, managed to find a willing female to marry him, and she even has young daughters. These groupies are truly sick, sad, delusional people.

      • Cleo says:

Holy crap is that Miller guy an asshole! His whole scenario of what happened stinks. I’m glad the jury didn’t buy it. It’ll be a very interesting writeup, and hopefully his family and supporters will just stfu.

        • diekatze says:

About the only good thing the asshole’s family did was when his dad called the cops after eric flat out told him that he killed a guy.

Some of his family left messages on Jamey’s menorial page. They were all like, “I am so sorry for your loss. There are two victims here. If he hadn’t smoked weed and drank booze, he wouldn’t have killed” bullshit. Now this family (and friends) want to cry that he was “unjustly sentenced” for straight up shooting a guy in the head. Oh yeah and his whole “suicide by rape” defense is fucking laughable.

The fact that eric miller is trying to appeal his sentence right now really gets my goat. And kinda forced me to read his lame assed account of that night. Which I did end up reading the whole 43 page chapter he wrote.

I know it sounds sick as fuck, but I kinda want to lock eric miller in a lockerroom shower with Sandusky. Make him realize exactly what rape is.

I’m more concerned about how this new appeal will effect his family. He was the youngest and his mom found out about his death when she asked reporters outside his apartment building why all the cops were outside. She was just driving by.

As soon as I saw he had a site up, I immediately knew he was destined for pyish.

After reading the 23 page Grand Jury Report, I am so sickened and disgusted by this man. He demonstrated all of the signs of a pedophile…he groomed these boys…he even started a foundation to gain access to more victims. The pattern of abuse is consistent among all the boys questioned. To all of those involved that didn’t report and stop this man you should be absolutely ashamed, your inaction allowed this man to continue to abuse boys. You are cowards and are guilty for not helping them. Hang this man by his balls for he whole world to see….uggh. Pathetic excuse for a man.

      • Cleo says:

To get an idea of what victims of child rape go through, check out Bill Zeller’s suicide letter. I have posted it on hellbeasts dot com. It should be required reading for all supporters of this pedophile and those who let him continue the abuse for years.

        • NuttyBuddh says:

those who let him continue the abuse for years…

Something’s wrong with anyone who would allow it to go on for years. One for example let it go on well into his 20s (my thoughts are that he must have enjoyed it and therefore, I don’t feel bad for him) as for the others, yes I feel bad for them. Sandusky & Paterno are pieces of crap.

        • MNFox says:

I went and read Bill Zeller’s suicide note and was absolutely having my heart ripped out the whole time. That poor man was absolutely tortured in life. Not sure if he could have found any help if he would have just found the “right” person to talk to but whatever and whoever did it to him should burn right here on earth. It gets too difficult to let your mind wander into what he and the boys in the rapings of Jerry Sandusky went through. Sad so sad. They are fucking Children for God’s sake…where to these fucking horrible people get off doing this. Please get some help or kill yourselves if you somehow can’t stop raping children…do not hurt another innocent child and take away their futures. Uggh….need to go hug my grandson right now.

    33. natalie says:

If you don’t mind me broadening the topic for a second, it’s personally fascinating to me that right now we have four cases in the news where victims are coming forward years later to tell their stories and the stories of the predators who victimized them – this case, the Syracuse basketball case, the News of the World cell-phone hacking case, and (my apologies if you object to a politically-tinged case) the Herman Cain case.

I wonder if it’s somehow non-coincidental. Because you do read these stories and say that’s right, guys, these things happened, and real people did them, and you have the eternal right to tell your story. Does anyone know, did the Syracuse victims read the Jerry Sandusky stories and come forward as a result? I can tell you, it makes you think about it.

It’s interesting to me to look and them together and see what they show. For one thing, it seems like maybe we as a society are finally getting tired of that standard sexual predator’s move where you smear the victim. Syracuse head basketball coach Jim Boeheim started out smearing his assistant’s victims, then clearly somebody talked to him and he shut up and reversed course real fast.

But I’d still say we need to look harder at the scumbags-for-hire who smear victims for money. They’re amazing people. Joseph Amendola, Jerry Sandusky’s hired scumbag, impregnated a 17-year-old girl he was representing in a child-emancipation case – google him and look it up if you doubt me.

      L. Lin Porter, the hired scumbag smearing Herman Cain’s victims, has maybe the most mind-boggling item on his resume. His interest in the law started out when he helped get his father off the hook for beating his mother to death. He successfully got the charge reduced to involuntary manslaughter, and his father served two years for beating his (presumably naked) mother to death in the shower. And something about this experience motivated him to dedicate his life to helping criminals he doesn’t know escape consequences for their behavior. Can we study the brains of people like that to see what part they’re missing?

And finally, I’d like to send a get-well-soon wish out to Max the Cat. Max, you were a bigger part of my witness/victim experience than you knew, you make the world better in ways you don’t realize. Hope to see you back here soon.

On a slightly different note; The united states has now become the biffest ‘bullshit nation” on earth. President Obama’s healthcare is now required or you”ll get a fine? Of course he doesn”t want to deport illegals anymore. Homosexuals and abortionists have rights. We live in a Democracy folks! If the majority of people don’t want to support homosexuals thats their right. Then we have judges ruling abortion is “constitutional.” Its too bad their mothers didn”t have an abortion. College kids with bachelors degrees can”t find jobs, and Obama says the private sector is ‘fine>’. The news media leaking e-mails to discredit Penn state university President. Gay congressman criticizing teachers who speak out against homosexuality. Yep. We”re going the way of ancient Rome all right.

      • KHR says:

Oh, so close. You forgot the bible reference. Or do you seriously think Canada is going to invade us and burn us to the ground?
If you’re implying that homosexuals are condoning what Sandusky did, you are a damn idiot. Using the argument that all homosexuals are child-raping deviants is getting fucking old.
One of the things this country supposedly holds dear is that we are the land of equal rights and opportunities for all. Last I checked there wasn’t an asterisk in the constitution that says ‘does not apply to queers and women’. We realized a long time discrimination against a race is wrong, it’s a fucking embarrassment that it took a damn amendment to give everyone the right to vote in our so-called democracy.
What’s wrong with our country nowadays is people like you. You are preachy, you think your morals should be those of the nation (which, BTW, is quickly turning pro-homosexual, a majority now believe they should be protected, the ‘marriage’ issue is a dead heat and swinging pro. The majority of Americans believe abortion should be legal, at least in the cases of rape and incest, and believe that there should be better education to PREVENT unplanned pregnancies, but people complain about teaching about condoms in school), and you are so involved in business that you have no fucking reason to be involved in. Just because you think abortion should be illegal and homosexuals shouldn’t have rights doesn’t mean that the law and precedent is on your side. How are you affected if two queers get married? Or if a woman chooses to have an abortion? Is your life personally affected? If not, STFU.
I am a recent college graduate, and know quite a few, and there are several reasons that we can’t find jobs. First, popular majors have gotten more popular, and thus an over-abundance of graduates into the same, or in some cases fewer jobs. The truth of things is that technology is taking over jobs, and for years, LONG before Obama took office, companies learned it was much more cost effective to ship the jobs overseas. And no one has had the balls to demand tax increases for companies that do this. I had a job before I had my second daughter. It wasn’t with my degree, but you know what, it was a damn job. It involved helping people wish disabilities in their every day life, which meant also with bathing and such. I knew a college grad who was complaining about how she couldn’t find a job. I offered to get her one with me, and she turned me down flat, refusing to ‘wipe butts’ and work overnights because she had a degree, damn it. The economy is tough. Take what you can get, chalk it up as life experience, and keep an eye out for something in your field, and quit bitching there’s nothing out there.
The President of Penn State discredited himself when he chose to try to save face instead of turning over a fucking child molester so he could be taken off the streets and stop hurting children.
Perhaps gay congressmen are criticizing teachers who speak out against homosexuality because they are sick of watching GLBT teens kill themselves.
We’re going the way of ancient Rome? Fine. Where’s my fucking fiddle?

      KHR,
Quite right, i am a Christian, and proud of it. I have nothing against homosexuals getting married, just don”t expect my tax dollars to support it. Thats bullshit. Homosexuality is wrong from either a religious point of view or an evolutionary point of view. According to evolution, every genetic mutatation is either harmful or helpful. In the case of homosexuality, its obviously harmful. How does homosexuality help the human race “progress.” Homosexuality is obviously a perversion with no survival merit whatsoever. Don”t expect my tax dollars to support perverts. How does a belief in God help the human race progress? It should have died out a long time ago, since it has no survival value, from the evolutionists point of view. Evolutionists are of course the stupidist people on earth. If they weren”t so stupid, they wouldn’t be evolutionists. Abortion was never voted on by the majority of the people. It was forced down our throats, by Roe vs. Wade. The chief justices are in violation of the constitution themselves, by overiding the will of the people. They knew it would never survive a vote. The above comment was made by a teacher on facebook, not in school. If i was her, I”d sue the ass off of the school board, but she was sick, and was going to retire anyway. Gay congressman Barney frank, announcing publicly, he married his lover. Enough to make you throw up. Going the way of ancient Rome all right.

      • Travis says:

how has natural selection not picked you off yet

      • KHR says:

Really? I have to do this again? Sigh. And I thought I was having a good night.
How are your tax dollars going to support a gay marriage? Do they go to every marriage, and if so, how can I get in on this? Oh, is it because of tax breaks that married people get that non-married people don’t? Because I’d think that all those queer dollars going into the government coffers are just as green as yours, and they should have the same rights to their tax incentives than the average person has. If you think about it, right now what your tax dollars are being wasted on are court cases, dozens of them, across the US, dealing with this issue. How much is California spending to take their case to the Supreme Court? Think of all the money that would be coming in from gay weddings. Hell, if there’s anyone that can throw an expensive party, it’s the gays, and then they aren’t taking up court time trying to fight for the right to see their partners who are dying in a hospital, or to be able to get an apartment together, etc.
Don’t expect your tax dollars to go to perverts? This has got to be the funniest fucking thing I’ve ever read. Let’s go with the obvious- your tax dollars go to prisons. Nope, no fucking perverts in there, just child molesters, rapists, fathers who fuck their daughters… nope, not a single fucking pervert in there. Or how about abusers? Money never goes to police who have to repeatedly run out to deal with someone hitting on their spouse, even if the spouse refuses to press charges. Or how about paying the members of congress? I’m not sure if this was true, but I’ve heard of some politicians who send nekkid pictures, or bone interns a quarter of their age (or marry them, RIP Strom Thurmond), have call girls on speed dial, claim to be against homosexual anything while sleeping with a male prostitute on the side… Either your tax dollars already support perverts, or you don’t pay taxes, in which case I’m sure the IRS will be happy to pay you a visit and show you first hand some of the perverts other people’s taxes give three hots and a cot to.
I never said a belief in God doesn’t help anything. You may not believe this, but I believe in God. I just don’t think he’s the hate-filled, smiting bastard many modern Christians portray him as. Unless he comes and speaks to me personally, I’ll continue to believe that my judgement is between me and my creator. If I’ve fucked up and gotten things wrong by supporting other people’s rights to live their own lives and make their own decisions, well, it’s not going to change anything for you, is it?
Are you fucking kidding me about evolution, though? Seriously? Let me clue you in, Jurassic Park was not a documentary. Evolution and religion don’t have to be exclusive ideas, most Christians I know have at least acknowledged evidence of evolution since the beginning of time. But keep on thinking the Flintstones was real.
Abortion was made legal in the face of insurmountable scrutiny because, and this might be a foreign concept, women should have the right to dictate what happens to their own bodies. Shocker, right? You, or I, or Jesus Christ himself should not be able to tell a woman (or another woman in my case) what to do. Would you like it if someone passed a law that said any man whose name starts with ‘J’ needs to refrain from ejaculating for a year, under penalty of law, and they’re threatening to prosecute any woman who sleeps with a man with a J name. So either you comply with the law, which takes away some control you have over your own body, or you go the illegal, back-alley, and possibly dangerous way to get your rocks off. Sucks, wouldn’t it, not being able to deal with something going on with your own body because a fucking law says that you can’t. Good luck fucking that prostitute, hope she doesn’t have something gross. Make something illegal, people find a way around it, and often it winds up killing people. I don’t like abortion. But I think getting rid of it denies basic rights to women. And there’s no way in hell you should force a woman who has already been violated by a rapist to be violated again by carrying the rapist’s child to term and birthing it. Or should that 14 year old who was raped by her daddy have to carry her own fucking father’s child to term? Should the baby who has a genetic disorder that is going to cause unbearable pain and death within weeks be born just because abortion is against the law? Have you ever seen one of those children, because I have. I have seen a dying four year old who had been in pain every damn day of his life, whose mother didn’t believe in abortion. And I’m the inhumane one for saying that banning abortion is wrong?
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, the great thing about this country is it protects it’s citizens, and was based on equal rights. Imagine what we would be like if we went with the popular opinion, and had no courts to change the laws. Only white, male, landowners would be voting on anything. When the women’s suffrage movement was round, it wasn’t popular. People died fighting for equal rights for African Americans because it was such a damn unpopular idea. It took a court case to allow two people with different color skin to marry each other. Maybe today this looks ridiculous, and most Americans would tell you it’s wrong it took until 1954 to say that black kids and white kids were entitled to the same educational opportunities, over THREE HUNDRED fucking years after the first slaves were brought over. You may not think the times are changing, but a recent poll shows 53% (and, in case your not a math major, that’s a majority) support gay marriage, and even more support gay unions of some kind even if they aren’t fully marriage.
I would have loved to see her sue the school board. Teachers nowadays can’t get away with crap, thanks to technology. And you’re not allowed to refuse to teach someone because you don’t like their orientation.
Barney Frank married his partner. And, looking outside quickly, the world didn’t stop turning. Fire isn’t raining down from the sky (unless you count the heat wave), I haven’t seen a locust this season, and the first born sons seem to be safe. Gay marriages have been going on for years, and you know what? Life hasn’t changed for most Americans. How has your life gotten worse since the queers started getting hitched? You’re disgusted? Your fucking problem, not mine. I’ve had many friends get hitched who couldn’t before, and I think it makes the world a little happier place.
Now go away, or I shall taunt you a second (er, third) time.

So what we really need to worry about are Canadians who are living here. They are the real enemy!

    52. josephg3086 says:

      Travis,
Quite right! Why hasn’t natural selection picked me off yet! Because evolution is WRONG! Thats precisely my point. See how clearly you”re thinking since you know me. Evolutionists have gotten their asses kicked on so many points by Christians, many of them won’t engage in public debates anymore. Theres not the slightest bit of evidence from the fossil record that one form of life evolves into another. Consider the transition from invetebrate fishes to vetebrate fishes. According to evolution, this took hundreds of millions of years, but yet not one fossil can be found to substantiate this claim. This is absolutely incredible. To account for their failed theory, scientists have now come up with a new theory-’punctuated equilibrium theory.’ Its even more of a bullshit theory than darwins idea. The whole of science is against rapid progress in genetics. KhR-the churches never discriminated against blacks or minorities-most always helped the poor, and welcomed everyone into their organization. Outlawing abortions doesn”t deny basic rights to women. As a society we have every right to outlaw it. Only irresponsible women who engage in rromiscuous sex want abortions. Birth control would be a better idea. God is not hate filled because he tells people not to engage in homosexual behavior. Thats the most bullshit argument i ever heard-used by gays and abortionists who don”t respect life. You say my tax dollars support perverts in prison. Don”t you thionk prison is necessary to protect the rest of society? Some do get reformed you know. As for politicians misusing money, so what else is new? Theres not much we can do once they misuse it-just remove them from office. In the end-from a religious point of view or natural selection(cough-cough) homosexuality is wrong. Evolution and religion are exclusive-so far evolutionists have failed to provide one bit of evidence.

      • Travis says:

Yeah…see, here’s the thing: I don’t care. For me to “think I know you” I’d first have to acknowledge you as a fellow human being. I don’t.

This isn’t the board for your politics and this right wing bullshit you seem to spew. Take your hate filled ass over to fox news where it belongs.

homosexuality has nothing to do with the topic at hand. You’re just throwing up smokescreens

      • KHR says:

        This is getting old…
        Evidence of evolution: Whales.
Started as pakicetus, a land-dwelling creature, shared the ear-bone structure of a modern whale.
Evolved to ambulocetus, which could walk or swim, had remnants of hooves in it’s fin-like legs, which also worked as flippers.
Evolved to rhodocetus, which was essentially a whale with legs. It swam, and over time it’s front legs evolved to flippers, the back legs disappeared.
Evolved to basiosaurus, a whale with tiny back legs.
Modern whales have the bone structures of legs in their fins. They also have pelvis bones, which is unique and completely unnecessary in fish species. They breathe air, unlike other fish, which puts them at a disadvantage over other fish species who don’t need to surface. Sperm whales have femurs, aka leg bones, unnecessary for sea-dwelling creatures. Oh, and they’re related to hippopotomi. And all of it is supported by fossil records.
Evolution that has happened in modern history, thus in front of modern human eyes, and documented by modern humans:
-Hawthorne maggots evolved to eat apples, thus spawning apple maggots, when apples were introduced to the New World by settlers less than 350 years ago.
-Elephants are evolving to become tusk-less in the face of poachers who kill them for ivory. 5-10% of elephants are now born tusk-less, up from 2-3% about 50 years ago.
-Polar bears are dying out and ill-suited for warmer climates, so they are starting to mate with grizzly bears, creating a hybrid that can survive in colder climates, but also can sustain a more plant-friendly diet than a polar bear can.
-Italian wall lizards that were dropped in Croatia as an experiment have changed the structure of their digestive tract to better digest local food sources.
-Fish are starting to evolve to live in the toxic and poisonous environments that are places like the Hudson river or the Great Lakes.
How much of this evidence are you going to believe? I bet not a damn bit of it. Are you one of those Christians who believe fossils were put on Earth as a way to test our faith? Next question, do you picket funerals? That one is more to settle my own curiosity.
Only promiscuous women have abortions? What are you basing that on? At least 12% of women who have abortions are married, but I guess that counts for nothing unless you are a queer wanting one. Many women choose abortion as a way to terminate a pregnancy where the child has a genetic defect of some kind. I don’t agree with aborting Down Syndrome babies, but it is what it is, and some women would rather abort a ‘non-perfect’ baby than have one born with special needs. Most of the women who abort for this reason are in a stable relationship. But way to use an end-run to call any pro-choice woman a slut. I wouldn’t recommend calling them that to their faces.
Birth control would be a great option. If religious types didn’t have a shit-fit when people suggest we teach it in schools. Or throw a fit like a toddler who has had their ice-cream taken away if we try to make them offer it to women as part of their health-care plan.
Prisons are necessary, but you missed my point, which was that you complain your tax dollars shouldn’t go to perverts wanting gay marriage, but I bet more of them go to perverts who raped their neighbor’s little girl who are now doing eight to ten. I repeat your tax dollars already go to perverts.
Christians might see homosexuality as wrong (and let me tell you, it’s not all Christians, and I know several who would like your type to stop speaking for them), but not all religions. Many have a ‘to each his own’ attitude. Some also believe in evolution. So don’t presume you talk for every religious person on the planet. Fun fact, when I was coming out as bi, I found several religions who see bisexuals as a higher form of human being, as they an see a human’s spirit and not just their physical presence. Pretty cool, huh?

      • KHR says:

Oh, and the churches have never discriminated against black or minorities? Have you ever been outside your house? Here goes:
Mormons, while they did allow blacks to become members, barred them from the ordinances that meant they could get the highest level of salvation all the way up until 1978.
Churches, especially in the South, fought against the end of slavery. When that didn’t happen, they barred blacks from membership, and blacks were forced to form their own churches, which often would not get recognition from regional church heads because they were black congregations. These same churches fought hard against desegregation. Don’t believe me? Head down South, to a town with a mixed population. Go to the churches. While segregation is not allowed due to the law, they’re segregated, you have the ‘black churches’ and the ‘white churches’, as the front desk attendant of a hotel was happy to point out to me. This is a holdout from when blacks weren’t allowed in the all-white churches.
Can I help you get a library card to go learn about the real world?

Oh, and just because it’s bugging me- Jesus, who was born into an area where people had olive skin and dark hair/eyes, is always portrayed as a white guy, and a pallid white guy to boot. 54. josephg says:

      KHR,
Most of the “evidence’ you gave for evolution, is simply a species adapting to its environment. Fish are surviving in poisonous environments-this in adaption to environment, not “evolution” from one species to another. For evolution to be a fact, we would need a fossil of a creature half fish-half amphibian, That would be true evolution. All species are already perfectly adapted to their environment- how could a creature half fish half amphibian survive? Unfortunately, evolutionists have no proof of one species becoming another, so they pass of adaption to the environment, that macro-evolution has occured. No scientist has EVER repeated evolution in the laboratory. Nitwits like Carl Sagan, frustrated by the lack of evidence started proclaiming evolution as fact with no laboratory evidence or fossil proof whatsoever. Carl Sagan knew nothing of evolution, and he wasn”t that great an astro-physicist, by the way. He made no great scientific discoveries like Niels Bohr, or Schrodinger. As Christians, we”re going to outlaw abortions, and shut down the abortion clinics completely. We”re then going to put on trial, every doctor who ever performed an abortion for murder. Politicians like Bill Clinton and judge Joseph Scalia, are a disgrace to the human race. Any doctor who performs an abortion is a murderer. They”d fit right in with the SS in Hitlers Germany. Being “Bi” is a crock of nonsense. Either you”re straight or you”re homosexual. BI is just an attempt to pass off homosexuality.

      • KHR says:

I really should stop replying. It just gives you the illusion that there is validity to your argument.
As for evolution, I’ll point to some of your current anatomy, and not the one a sane woman hasn’t touched in years. You still have the muscles in your body designed to move your ears around, known as the extrinsic ear muscles. This was meant to focus your hearing. You don’t need them anymore, and therefore you can’t move your ears, save for maybe a little wiggle. You still have the muscles in your foot that would enable it to function more as a hand than a human foot, but once we went bipedal it was poor design, and therefore our foot changed into the structure it is now- designed to help keep us upright and not function as something to drink your morning coffee with. Your tailbone is what is left of what was once a tail. It’s nonsensical for your spine to end there otherwise, it’s actually a liability if a primarily bipedal creature falls backwards (ever bruised your tailbone? Hurts like heck). Wisdom teeth were from when early humans ate a primarily plant-based diet, needed to eat quickly, and mash what they ate well because the human body can’t digest cellulose and could not get nutrients from the plant without thoroughly chewing with the flat teeth in the back- it was better to have more of them. As our diet evolved to include more meat, wisdom teeth became useless, which is why they’re often taken out. Ever wonder why you have things like wisdom teeth or your appendix if the doctors don’t think it’s important enough to keep? DNA can be used to determine what country, and in some cases what part of what country, your ancestors came from, and also prove we’re 98% related to a chimpanzee. Hell, do you think dogs all looked that way forever? That there was a Golden Retriever in the Garden of Eden? No, they were domesticated from wolves and other wild dogs, and with a little human help (hey, look, I don’t need a PhD to help progress evolution, I just need to have a desire to make a dog with a specific trait) they evolved because they didn’t need to go out to hunt, eventually changing to the hundreds of different species we have today. What the hell do you think all those microbiologists are doing when they’re making biological weapons? Coaxing biological agents to evolve to survive against anti-biotics and such (the bacteria are doing a great job of that themselves, since you need a new freaking flu shot every year). We have the same number of bones in our arms as a whale has in it’s flipper and a bat has in it’s wing, and the same basic setup, which only makes sense if there was a common link from long ago, because there are much better set-ups for things like whales than what they have now (look at the tailfins of all fish, then look at the whale, one is much more suited for tight turns). Of course scientists haven’t observed macro-evolution, that takes thousands if not millions of years, and they have pretty good fossil evidence (dinosaur, archeopteryx, bird). Did you know they now think that the t-rex had feathers? Jurrasic Park isn’t nearly as scary if you picture a giant fucking chicken chasing them.
Good luck shutting down all abortion clinics and persecuting, er, prosecuting all the doctors. I’m waiting, but I won’t hold my breath. How about you take your anti-abortion rhetoric to China, where they’re aborting full-term wanted babies because the parents can’t pay the fine?
You should do some research on the fluidity of gender and sexual orientation. You know how millions of girls can scream for Justin Bieber, who I will only be convinced is a male once a licensed physician tells me it’s true? Or how men think Jessica Alba, Hillary Swank or Jennifer Aniston are hot despite the fact that they have strong, almost masculine facial features? If we 100% straight wouldn’t all women be more attracted to someone like Channing Tatum, who is a muscular example of masculinity? Or men all panting over hyper-feminine women, like what Elizabeth Taylor looked like when she first came on the scene? Why do men even watch porn with naked men in it, if the very sight of anything phallic should send them running for the homophobic hills? Why are there semi-naked women in ads running in magazines like Cosmo? Because very few people fall on the extremes of the sexual orientation scale, meaning they are 100% gay or 100% straight. They may still identify as gay or straight because their attraction to the opposite sex might stop at a feature or two, or not wanting to just watch a woman play with herself on camera for a couple hours with no kind of phallic instrument in sight. And then there are those of us in the middle of the spectrum who truly do find and appreciate beauty in all sorts of features and don’t really have a preference to what’s between the legs. Or maybe I’m just a slut who doesn’t care where I get it from. I do love to fuck my husband, but there is a way that a woman knows how to touch another woman…

      • KHR says:

BTW- Evolution: Change in the genetic composition of a population during successive generations, as a result of natural selection acting on the genetic variation among individuals, and resulting in the development of new species.
Hawthorne maggots are still around, and considered a different species than apple maggots, despite the common ancestor.
Italian wall lizards are still around. The wall lizards in Croatia as well. Now two separate species.

And I noted you didn’t dispute my claims that churches DID discriminate against people, but feel free to provide evidence to the contrary. I’m sick of doing all the research and getting few facts in return. How about backing up your claim that you’re shutting down all the abortion clinics and trying the doctors, because right now I’m not seeing much of it, considering the courts have been keeping that clinic in Mississippi open despite the law trying to shut it down.

    56. josephg says:

You’re right KHR, scientists haven”t observed macro evolution, which is why its not a scientific theory. Since its never been observed, it can”t be “assumed” that it happened. Unless you can show me a fossil, half fish half amphibian, or half amphibian half reptile, then you have no proof of evolution. END

Thats right-it may take time, but we Christians are shutting down the abortion clinics. It may take time but we”re going to do it. The judges are pro abortion-its going to take time, but we”re going to replace them all. Once we outlaw abortion, we”re going to put on trial, all judges who upheld abortion, all politicians who supported abortion, and all doctors who performed abortions. If found guilty, then we”ll enforce the appropriate penalty-an abortion. ( IF found guilty-now thats a good one. Ha ha.) We christians are the most powerful religious group in the world-who can stand against us? Who do you think is going to win this war? (War is the wrong word-it implies both sides have an equal chance of winning.)
You”re right many churches did discriminate against blacks and other minorities, but that doesn”t mean theres no God, and it doesn”t mean Christian principles aren”t valid. It can”t be used to justify homosexuality. If you”re homosexual KHR, just come out and say it. Don’t give me a crock about being “bi.” Theres no such thing as being “bi.” It just an attempt to appear more straight than you are.
It”s when ordinary church members go bad, that it really hurts the Christian name. I read of a lady who stole 42,000 dollars from her church-SEE more proof that theres no God!
I think its unfair the way Joe Paternos getting all the blame. He reported it to his superiors, and they did nothing. Other people are even more guilty than he is, but yet he”s being made the scapegoat.
You mentioned you graduated from college KHR- what did you major in, and what are you doing now”

      • KHR says:

You know, with a little tweaking, I could re-write your paragraph to read something like this:
Christians haven’t observed God, which is why its not proof of creation. Since its never been observed, it can”t be “assumed” that it happened. Unless you can show me the Garden of Eden, a picture of Heaven/Hell/the Debbil, or the wreck of the Ark, you cannot prove God exists. END
I’m just saying. There is more physical scientific evidence for evolution than there is for God and many of the events of the Bible, but you seem to believe He exists as well.

You have given me zero proof that you’re winning the war on abortion, in fact, given the younger generation’s attitudes towards it, in twenty years you’ve got one hell of a battle. The older generation that doesn’t like abortion and homosexuality is dying off, and then who is going to do the majority of the voting? The fag-loving, pro-Roe v. Wade college kids of today and the past twenty years, including all those Godless heathen women who think they should have control of their own bodies. But keep working on that! it’s good to have goals. Why do I think I’m right? The constitution is on my side, as are the courts so far, and your anti-abortion judges are getting close to retirement.
I never said discrimination is proof there is no God. If you recall, I believe in God. But I’m answering your previous point that churches don’t discriminate, which is bullshit. Go back and read your own arguments before you try to argue my points, because you make no fucking sense when you refute your own statements.
You’re right. I’d like to come out as a lesbian, but I can’t, because that would mean giving up my husband, and he is just an amazing fuck. If it weren’t for his penis it’d be great. Oh, wait, I kind of like the penis, too. I can’t prove to you that I’m bi over the computer, but since I’ve known I am since I was about 12, I’m secure in my sexuality. And my husband likes that I can appreciate a female figure as much as he can.
Ordinary church members can make churches look bad, but they can make churches look great as well. I recently went to a Pride Parade in Chicago, and they were out there with signs that said that they were Christian and okay with everyone there, that they loved everyone. There’s pictures of it up on the net. They even gave out hugs to men clad only in their underwear. On the other hand, churches who go out spewing hate and picketing funerals of dead soldiers or kids who got shot in movie theaters sure don’t give Christians’ a really good name now, do they? It’s giving them a bad reputation overseas, as well. A friend of mine who is teaching in South Korea says they think all American Christians are like the Westboro Baptist Church, and all American Catholic priests molest little boys while condemning people. Because that’s what is seen of American Christians and Catholics on the news.
Holy crap, you actually managed to make a point relevant to the story! I somewhat agree with you, I don’t think JoePa should have lost his wins. But I also don’t think he should have a statue outside the football stadium. And I think he should have stepped down when the scandal hit, because their football program should be about the players and not the scandal, but he had to try to hold on, and was therefore demonized. I also think he should have called the cops. I’ve worked in a daycare, and when I saw suspected abuse that I didn’t think my director was reporting, I reported it straight to DCFS, going over her head. That’s what he should have done, then kicked Sandusky’s sorry ass as far away as he could have.
I majored in Special Education, minor in Psychology. Now that my husband has finished school, I think I’m going to go back for a social work degree. As part of my Sped teaching (which is not because I NEEDED special education, but because I want to work with people with special needs) I pretty much got the works on different subjects taught in school. Right now I work with adults with special needs in a home setting, and I’m taking care of my two beautiful daughters who are both under the age of 5.

I used to be opposed to the death penalty, before I managed to find this web site and read a few of these stories. I remember my first, it was Scott Smith, the guy who raped his own five month old child, and ever since then despite telling myself that what I read was horrible enough and I wouldn’t be back, here I am.

What’s that? You need more to work with? Well okay, let’s see…

Oh. I’m a fan of professional wrestling, and I have the insane clown posse on my mp3 at this very moment. (I’ll probably regret admitting that last one later, but fuck it. I’m going to ask this, because it’s been bugging me all damn morning- Am I the only one who sees the irony in Joseph’s demands of me? I can’t prove evolution because I cannot provide a perfect set of fossil records in pristine order, and because I cannot provide such proof to his front door, therefore there is no evolution and it’s all because of God?

      • Travis says:

I’m not gonna lie, I’ve been trying to make a post like our good buddy joe here, but after twenty minutes I wanted to stab myself in the eyes just so I could feel something. I may be a jerk but even I’m not this big of a pretentious, hypocritical cumbag.

I mean, hey. I believe in a god. But apparently my god is different from Joe’s god. My god is all loving and accepts people regardless of race, sexual identity, blahblahblah. Just don’t be a murdering, babyraping douchebag and wit’s all god. Joey’s god seems like an asshole.

    59. josephg says:

      KHR,
YOU can”t provide a fossi record of evolution because it doesn”t EXIST. Thats my point. Scientists have misled everyone on evolution. Its just as much a matter of faith as religion. I admit-theres no scientific proof of god, but neither is there of “evolution.
Millions of people the world over have experienced visions of God, healings-despite what dipshit atheists like Carl Sagan and Christopher Hitchens think. Christianity is not “hate filled” just because it condemns homosexuality. If you believe homosexuality’s ok, then you can”t call yourself a Christian. You might be a Buddhist, Hindu, but not a Christian. At least be honest with yourself, and others as well.
I never said it was ok, to picket funerals. anyone who does so is a total idiot. The Catholic church does have a very bad problem. I feel no sympathy for any priest or minister who does anything wrong. See-I”m not going to defend these people.

      • Travis says:

Alright. I’m having a shitty day and have no patience for this bullshit, so I’ll be brief.

Shut your stupid whore mouth. You have no idea what you’re talking about, your point has been countered and disproven time and time again, go walk in front of a bus you waste of oxygen

    60. KHR says:

There is enough of a fossil record to give a mostly-clear picture of evolution, which is more physical proof of something than seeing the Virgin on a piece of toast. You honestly don’t see the irony in expecting me to provide absolute proof when you yourself cannot?
People had visions all the time. My husband’s grandmother had visions that our first child was going to be male twins- I got a single girl. But for months she assured us that the ultrasounds and doctors missed something. We were going to have male twins. My daughter is now four, and it took the damn delivery to convince her. People see premonitions of horrible events that never come to fruition, but according to you that’s ‘proof’. I don’t doubt people see things, but I doubt that everyone who has ever claimed they saw something was telling the truth. Humans are great bullshit artists, and some will do anything to improve their station in life, and that includes saying they are speaking directly to God, and he says you should give up all your money and worldly possessions to them and live on some farm in the middle of nowhere and let your fourteen year old daughter fuck the Great Leader. ‘Healings’ have happened to Buddhists, Hindus, Zaoists and the like without it being attributed to God. I guess God doesn’t discriminate, like your so-called Christians do.
I’m not a Christian, but I come from a mostly Christian family. My mother’s cousin is a minister, and he assures me you do not have the authority to speak for all Christians. He also says Christ’s message is about loving and tolerance, and that’s what he preaches in his church. I still don’t go to it, because I’m not a Christian. If I had to align myself I’m a Unitarian Universalist, but I still have a bit of a problem with the ‘respect all people’ thing because I think some people have earned disrespect with their actions.

    61. josephg says:

      Travis,

Welcome to the Dark Side. We’ve got cookies.

    63. josephg says:

As Christians we”ve always said that a persons sexuality determines their religion. If you don”t like the ban on homosexuality, you can always find a religion that does. Groups like the mormons, Jehovahs Witnesses. and Unitarians are shunned by the mainline Christian churches. If they believe in things that are contradicted by the Bible, they aren”t Christian, no matter what they call themselves. Unitarians are well known for their perversions of homosexuality. Your cousin who assures you I don”t speak for all Christians probably denies many things in the Bible including the ban on homosexuality. Obviously you don”t give all your money to a minister, and seeing the virgin on a piece of toast is not a miracle. Why don”t you read one of the greatest philosophers who ever lived-C.S. Lewis. I”d like to suggest you read Miracles by C.S. Lewis, and Mere Christianity by Lewis. Hes a far more profound thinker than Hitchens or dawkins. How do atoms and molecules arrange themselves into a living cell? The simplest one celled organism is far more complex than a Nasa space shuttle. Molecules have no will of their own. Sixty million molecules in the right sequence must be put together to form the simplest living one celled organisms. Where does human ‘rationality” come from? Are we supposed to believe a group of irrational subhuman ape men got together and said: hey guys, we”ve got to stop acting irrational. We”re going to invent the wheel, fire and writing this week Human thinking is “supernatural” it is not due to biochemistry or the atoms and molecules in the brain. I say supernatural in the full sense of the word. rationality cannot arise from irrational creatures. i guess if you”re not convinced by now, you never will be. You may suspect the truth, but you won”t admit it-at least not to me.

      • KHR says:

Really? A persons sexuality determines their religion? I really want to get this right, because now I’m extremely curious- Which church do the chubby chasers go to? How about people who practice BDSM? Swingers? What about swingers that will only do hetero? Does that mean all straight people are Christians, because my Jewish neighbors probably need to know it’s okay to put up those lights in December. What if you’re asexual? Does that mean you’re automatically an athiest? Does it go by position preference? Like, if my best friend likes missionary is she a Christian, but if I prefer to be on top I’m Unitarian? What religion is doggy style, I think I’m half that. Boy, I had it wrong all the time, here I thought it was what someone believed in that determined their religion, and not who they fucked and/or didn’t fuck. I never heard about sexuality when I was in church until mine came into question, why oh why didn’t my Sunday school teacher teach me that if I’m a good girl who lies back and thinks of England while the lights are off I’m going to be in God’s good graces- I would have left the church sooner!
I’m not debating things are complex, but the fact is that the evolution of humanoids allowed for more space for the brain to grow those critical thinking centers that allow for complex thought, or at least that’s what my neuroscientist sister says- that the brain capacity of early humanoids didn’t give enough room for certain lobes to develop the way they do, but as we changed and evolved we could develop complex thought. And I think I’d trust her information more than yours because she’s spent eight years studying the makeup of the brain and spinal column and is now working to develop a new way to re-connect the spinal column so people have been paralyzed can have more recovery than they currently do. But, if course, you’re not going to care what a neuroscientist says because she’s not your church, so how would she know anything.
The minister does not deny things in the Bible. He knows that Jesus did not discriminate against those he taught, that he hung out with whores and most likely a homosexual or two, and taught love to everyone. He also knows that people are great a cherry-picking which Bible verses they want to believe and follow (how are them blasphemous cheeseburgers?) and choose to focus on certain verses while missing the whole picture. He has a great sermon on it, and has been asked to give it to several nearby churches. I guess they’re all fake Christians, too.
I suspect the truth- that God has a hand in things. I don’t think that everything appeared out of nothing. But I also think that God has allowed for things like evolution because it makes His creations better.

        • Smilee says:

“Which church do the chubby chasers go to?,…”
          easy. Churches Fried Chicken.
          …Meet ya there.

          • KHR says:

LOL. I’m never going to be able to pass one of those again without thinking about chubby chasers. Good thing I don’t live near many of them.

      • Fucking Hell... says:

Who’s this “we” you speak of, josephg? You got a turd in your pocket? You certainly don’t speak for me, and I’d appreciate it if you didn’t act as if your ramblings are anything but representative of your own warped mind.

        • KHR says:

I think the ‘we’ is joseph and the voice who claims he’s God in his head. Of course, that God voice doesn’t know the Bible from a Twilight novel, and thinks his version of both is correct.

      • KHR says:

And, might I remind you, Joseph, that Christ himself gave two commandments. One was love the Lord and praise Him. The other was ‘you shall love thy neighbor as thyself’. There were no asterisks. No ‘unless they’re gay, at which point they don’t deserve love’. No ‘unless they’re a woman who has had an abortion’. No qualitative measures. Just to love your neighbor as you love yourself. Let me clue you in on a little secret- you’re doing this part wrong.
I suggest you go find the article ‘I’m Christian, unless you’re gay.’ by Single Dad Laughing. He says it much more eloquently than I ever could.

        • KHR says:

Singled Dad Laughing is the blog. The man is Dan Pearce. He’s wonderful, insightful, and if you don’t come away from reading his post thinking hard, you’ve missed the point.

    64. josephg says:

      Travis,
I would never match wits with you. Its just no contest>

    65. josephg3086 says:

      KHR.
What church your sister belongs to doesn”t concern me. As a doctor, shes just repeating things she learned in school. She probably doesn”t care anyway. The scientific establishment is totally against criticism of evolution. If you dare say evolution is wrong, syou”re shunned by the mainstream scientific establishment. We”ve gone over this before. Science is based on observation and repeatability of experiment. First a scientist forms a hypothesis, about how something works. Then they set up a test to see if its correct or not. Repeatability under the same conditions anywhere in the world is part of the scientific method. Turning on a light bulb, an untold number of times is proof that Edisons idea of the light bulb was correct. Starting a car proves that Henry ford was correct about the v-8 motor, although engineers said it was impossible at the time. No scientific experiment has ever proved evolution so we come to the fossil record. Your sister says we evolved: can you ask your sister for the fossil records, of half fish, half amphibian? And half amphibian, half reptile? I certainly hope your sister does develop something to help paralyzed patients. it would be good if she did.
Maybe not in your case, but many homosexuals do leave the church, once they learn about it. Usually they get into paganism, and wicca, where they”re free to do anything they want(sexually speaking.)
Jesus did say to love everyone, but he never used it to justify behavior banned in the Bible. Jesus said: did you not read he created them male and female. Saying a person is “hate filled” is bullshit. speaking out against behavior which is condemned is not hate filled. You might as well say a person is hate filled for speaking out against Jerry Sandusky.
In 1933, Adolf Hitler passed a law depriving the Jews and anyone else he wanted of their rights. Subsequent laws made it legal for him and the nazi party to kill whomever they wanted. Hitler said” since they”re not human we”re justified in killing them.”
in 1973, the Supreme court in almost direct duplication of Hitlers speech said “since a fetus is not human they can be aborted. The Supreme court obviously must have spent some time reading Hitlers Nuremburg laws, and learning from him.
Any woman who wants an abortion, obviously disrespects life, has no sense of moral worth, and has little regard for others,.

      • KHR says:

First off, my sister is a researcher, not a doctor. She doesn’t take things at face value. She doesn’t listen when people say ‘this is the way it is and that’s the only way it’ll be’. She goes in to prove them wrong. She has studied the skulls of human ancestors. She knows how brains would have developed in them. She’s seen the evolution of those skulls, and how it would have affected the cognitive centers, going from basic thoughts and survival skills to complex thinking. She applies this to her research. She can’t produce any fossils, because she doesn’t work with that. Science isn’t just one specialty.
I’ve given you some pretty big leeway when it comes to making up facts, but I’m going to have to call bullshit on you, and unless you can give me a non-biased, reputable website that says homosexuals usually turn to wicca/paganism I’m going to ask you to start backing ALL your claims with facts. I’ll just go with my experience, but I can do some research if I have to. I’ve personally counseled over 200 gay people through a peer counseling program. One of the questions I asked was their religion. Around 60% identified themselves as Christians. Around 10-15% more were agnostic, leaning Christian because of their upbringing. How many were wicca? Two. One percent, probably less than one percent. I helped set up programs for local churches and gathering places to help deal with people coming out. I went to many Christian churches, because it’s becoming more and more popular to try to stay in your church after coming out since churches are becoming more tolerant. I also went to the synagogue, Unitarian church, and Islamic center, along with youth centers and schools.
I’m not sure how to respond to your third paragraph. It’s called proof-reading. Try it sometime. And yes, there are people out there who are hate-filled. They publicly come out and say they’ll kill their children if they are homosexual. They have kicked their children out and refused contact because of their sexuality. They come out in public saying homosexuals should be rounded up and placed in internment camps, or straight up eliminated. How can you not talk about not just denying rights to gay people, but flat-out wishing them harm and death without having hate in your heart?
And hell, yes. I hate Jerry Sandusky and people like him. There is no justification for rape, but rape of a child is beyond the lowest of the low. If I caught him doing that in the shower I’d probably beat him to death myself, and if I caught someone doing that to my daughter they’d be lucky to find the body.
There is a fundamental difference between what Hitler did and what abortion does. Most abortions are performed on fetuses that cannot survive outside the womb. Hitler killed living human beings, in much more depraved and horrific ways than abortion. How you even compare the two shows how backwards-thinking you really are. Women who have abortions do it for a variety of reasons, and perhaps you should walk, well think, a mile in their shoes before you pass judgement.

      • KHR says:

BTW, in the quick research I’ve done on things, most churches have decided not to completely fight evolution- go do some research on ‘theistic evolution’. Basically it boils down to- yeah, evolution exists, but it’s because God has chosen to change His creations to better suit their survival on the planet. John Paul II said in 1996 that new findings regarding evolution have, “lead us toward recognition of evolution as more than a hypothesis”. Your kind is dying out.
I’ve also found that 58% of gays identify as Christian and having Christ playing ‘a major role’ in their lives. About the 60% I found before.

        • KHR says:

Oh, and theistic evolution states that God created everything, as well, so you can be a creationist and an evolutionist at the same time! Very few religions DON’T believe in some kind of theistic evolution. Welcome to the minority.

      • Travis says:

Still having a terrible week, and I’m far too tired to read all that bullshit you just spewed, joe m’lad. but I do have to say it takes a special kind of douchebag to compare those who have abortions to the nazi’s. I tip my hat, sir. You remind me so much of my six year old sister when she’s throwing a tantrum. Except instead of not being allowed to watch TV or play with friends, with you it’s “GAY’s ARE EVIL! EVOLUTION IS A MYTH, BECAUSE THE JESUS SAYS SO!!”

“points here disputing your so called facts”

“NO, NO YOU’RE WRONG. IT’S IN THE BIBLE, VERSE whothehellcares, “BLAHBLAHBLAH NO GAYS. ALSO, ABORTION. IT’S MURDER”

side note: wicca is sweet as shit.. Nothing to do with what you have to say, but just my own

      • P.O.'D says:

I am more than a incubator.

My life, my body, my emotional well being are worth more than a cluster of cells that have the potential (not guaranteed) to eventually become a person.

88% of abortions are done before 12 weeks. Nearly 62% of them are done before 9 weeks when the fetus is less than an inch long and weighs less than a quarter of an ounce.

So until it’s YOUR life, YOUR body, stay out of MY business.

    66. josephg3086 says:

      To Pod,
As a society we have every right to tell a woman whether or not she can have an abortion. I know many women, who are against abortion. Abortion is unconstitutional and morally wrong.

      • KHR says:

I think you have the wrong definition of constitutional. Roe v Wade legalized abortions because it was unconstitutional to ban them, because it’s unconstitutional to regulate someone’s body for them. The government can’t make medical decisions for you, and because a fetus is not legally a person, they don’t have a legitimate interest in what happens to it. It’s why people don’t get charged with murder if they stab a pregnant woman in the stomach and kill the fetus.

      • Sky says:

        Josephg,

As a society we have every right to tell a man he can’t have a vasectomy or, if he has testicular cancer, an orchiectomy (surgical removal of the testicles).

In fact, we have a moral and ethical obligation to stop him because the Bible tells us it is a sin to waste a man’s seed. After all, don’t these two abominable procedures prevent potentially thousands of future children from ever being born?

And male msturbation and the use of condoms are equally abhorrent as they have the same effect as Onan, who spilled his semen on the ground whenever he coupled with his brother’s wife (Genesis 38:9).

We’ll have to patrol and proselytize not only at hospital cancer wards but in high schools and drug stores, too.

Joe, I sincerely hope you enjoy your Biblical literacy.

    67. josephg3086 says:

      To Travis,
May i suggest you stop reding posts on this site, and go watch SpongeBob square pants? The Dr. Seuss reading hour would also be good for you.

    68. josephg3086 says:

      To KHR,
Please ask your sister to get in touch with a paleontoligist, and provide proof of the fossil record. It should be easy for her to do, since she’s a researcher.
In some areas of the country-San Francisco, especially- many homosexuals do turn to wicca. Maybe not in your area. That would explain the difference. John paul is wrong for recognizing evolution. You can”t believe in creationism and theistic evolution. Thats bullshit. May i suggest you read the book, Evolution: The fossils say NO! by Duane T. Gish, a biochemist. This will help you understand evolution a little better and why there’s no proof.

I never wished anyone harm or death because they were gay. Obviously these people are hate filled.

What facts did i make up? As an evolutionist its up to you to provide proof.
Hitler was the first person to use the argument that a ‘whole class of people weren”t HUMAN,” Therefore he was justified in killing them. This exact same argument was later repeated, almost word for word by the Supreme Court.

Hitler: since they”re not human, its not a CRIME to exterminate them.

Supreme Court: Since a fetus in not a legal person they may be aborted.

Legalized Murder; pass a law saying a whole class of people are not human, and its not a crime to kill them.
Hitler and the Supreme Court were the only two people to ever use the same argument, almost word for word. The Supreme Court is every bit as EVIL and DETESTABLE as Hitler was.

      • KHR says:

Just because I’m a vindictive bitch, I’ll start breaking down some of your arguments, but I’ll start by saying that I never should have engaged someone whose opening line includes the word ‘biffest’ instead of ‘biggest’. ‘Facts’ you’ve gotten wrong:

You: “Evolutionists are of course the stupidist people on earth. If they weren”t so stupid, they wouldn’t be evolutionists.” (note the spelling of ‘stupidest’)
Fact: A Gallup study has proven that the lower a persons IQ, the more likely they are to be a creationist. The higher the IQ, the more likely to be an evolutionist. 55% of creationists had a degree of education that was ‘high school diploma or less’.

You: “Abortion was never voted on by the majority of the people. It was forced down our throats, by Roe vs. Wade. The chief justices are in violation of the constitution themselves, by overiding the will of the people. They knew it would never survive a vote.”
Fact: In a 2011 poll shows only 17% of Americans favor a total ban on abortion in any circumstance. The rest support some circumstances (48%), all circumstances (36%), or are undecided.

You: “Evolutionists have gotten their asses kicked on so many points by Christians, many of them won’t engage in public debates anymore.”
Fact: The freaking Pope has acknowledged theistic evolution as the probable way things happened. Many churches are adding theistic evolution to their beliefs. The public debates aren’t happening because the creationists are starting to acknowledge evolution. Even the pope conceded the point.

You: “All species are already perfectly adapted to their environment- how could a creature half fish half amphibian survive?”
Fact: Lungfish. Mudskippers. Look them up. They have lungs and gills, and can survive in water and on land. Evolution!

You: “Being “Bi” is a crock of nonsense. Either you”re straight or you”re homosexual. BI is just an attempt to pass off homosexuality.”
Fact: A 2011 study of bisexual men done by Northwestern University hooked up men to machines to measure their arousal, showed them hetero and homo erotic scenes, and found that bisexual men are aroused by both. A 10 year study by the American Psychological Association found bisexual women maintained a stable pattern of attraction to both sexes.

You: “YOU can”t provide a fossi record of evolution because it doesn”t EXIST.”
Example: Non-human, I admit, but an example of a fossil record of a certain species done by the American Geological Institute:
        http://www.agiweb.org/news/evolution/scallops.html
And just because it’s so beautiful, an evolution of hominid skulls:
        http://phylointelligence.com/images/hskulls.png
You know what that second one shows? Exactly what I was talking about with my sister and how the skull mutated to allow for more complex thought. They used primitive tools first, no one stood up one day and shouted ‘lets make a wheel!’. They started small, using rocks as tools, like modern-day apes do now.

While you’re looking at things, take a look at evolution that happened before scientist’s eyes:
        http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn14094-bacteria-make-major-evolutionary-shift-in-the-lab.html

You keep arguing that evolution is a theory, and that theories cannot be proven, but widely accepted scientific theories abound that I doubt you would question the validity of. Gravity comes to mind. Drop something. Does it go down? Yes, because of gravity. How do you know it’s because of gravity? Has gravity been physically proven? Can you see gravity? No, but we know it’s there because we can see it in action. A scientific theory, according to the National Academy of Sciences is “a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world, based on a body of facts that have been repeatedly confirmed through observation and experiment.” Evolution is a Scientific Theory, anyone who has a high-school education can tell you that one. Would you deny that cells are the basic makeup of every living thing on Earth? Did you know that that, too, is only a theory? Geology has plate theory, but would you deny that occasionally tectonic plates shift and cause changes in geography? And you know the amazing thing, is all these have more physical evidence than God. You claim to be a man who needs to see proof to believe something, but you have a blind faith.

The difference between Hitler and abortion is this: Hitler killed living, breathing human beings who had proven they could survive outside the womb because they had been doing it for years. He also killed them in much more horrific and deplorable fashions than taking a pill, which is what causes 25% of abortions in this country. Only 2% of abortions in America are of a medically viable fetus. At best, 5% of abortions occur when the fetus can feel pain.

Here’s something to think about, though. In Europe, where abortions are legal and easy to obtain, there are some of the lowest abortion rates, 10 women per 1,000. In Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean, where abortions are most restricted rates are much higher, 29-31 per 1,000. That’s three times the amount. Why are there less abortions in areas where it’s easier to get one? You’d think that a country with a ‘walk in and get one’ law regarding abortions would have such a higher rate as those fuck-loving Europeans want to get rid of their babies in droves. It’s not happening. Because they also value education and womens’ health programs, don’t fight like hell to not cover contraceptives, and support new mothers who decide give birth, unlike this country where a woman who WANTS to keep her child and goes on welfare to do so is dubbed a ‘welfare queen’. Medicaid programs are being cut left and right. Businesses are freaking out because they might have to cover the pill, despite the fact that for every $1 spent on contraceptives, between $2 and $6 is saved, as well as possible abortion candidates. I hear people saying have the baby and adopt it out. As of the end of 2010 there were 408,425 children in the foster care system. 96,772 of those are waiting to be adopted. A lot of these are kids with special needs. If you give birth to a less than perfect baby (and by that I mean the Hitler-esque ideal of blonde haired and blue eyed), there’s going to be a good chance they’re going to be shuttled from home to home for years, kicked out onto the streets at 18, and left to fend for themselves so the cycle of poverty and unwanted pregnancies continue. The unlucky ones wind up on this site with their so-called ‘parents’ or foster-parents having tortured, abused, or killed them.

Oh, and another thing for thought: Only 28% of women who get abortions are non-religious. 7% are not Christian. Best fix your own house before you bitch about mine. Anti-abortion advocates are losing ground because they are fighting to restrict the rights of women, who, despite some mens best efforts, can vote now. Some women don’t mind, but a lot of women don’t like being told what they can and cannot do with their own bodies.

        • Sky says:

          KHR, that. Was. Awesome. Brava.

          • KHR says:

Thank you, thank you. I’ll be here all week. Or until I finally make joseph realize I’m not giving up the fight and I have logic, facts, and statistics on my side.

          • Homer says:

I second that, Sky. A knock-out reply if there ever was one.

And KHR, prepare for a lengthy battle with this one, just in case. Not because Joseph appears to be a tough opponent, but because – like many of his ilk – he seems completely unable to know or admit when he’s wrong. You know the type: “MY truth IS the truth and THAT’S the truth”.

            • KHR says:

I’ve already been fighting a long and uphill battle, and some times I think Joseph is waiting for me to get tired and give up. Little does he realize he’s hit me on two sore spots- men who think they have the right to dictate what I do with my body and people who say bisexuals don’t exist. I’m going to keep going because I’m running on sheer determination and desire to annoy the shit out of him. And nothing seems to work better than proven facts and the truth as told by the people and the evidence.

      • Max The Cat says:

No proof? Well, let’s talk about proof Joseph.

Where’s your proof that the fairy tale story of God creating everything in a week is even remotely possible? Do you believe in Santa and the Easter Bunny too? Oh wait, I’m sorry – that would be a sin, wouldn’t it?

To quote Clarence Darrow, “The Bible is a book. It’s a good book, but it’s not the only book.”

        • Homer says:

A little off topic here, Max, but did you receive the Breivik-article I sent Admin and Cleo a week and a half ago? I asked them to forward it to you, but haven’t heard anything from either one since then, so now I’m wondering if it ever got through.

Damn, it’s good to see you back, by the way. :-)

    69. KHR says:

If this was not obvious, this was meant for josephg.

      • KHR says:

Yay, my double-post got deleted, so now I have a random comment here! I needed to look a bit insane!

        • Max The Cat says:

          Woopsie! That’s my bad KHR

          • KHR says:

No problem. I have to give joseph a little ammo, since I’m whipping him with facts, don’t I?

            • KHR says:

I totally hit the reply button! At least, I thought I did. Maybe I am going insane.

            • Travis says:

Oh, you can’t help that. We’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.

…don’t ask how long I’ve been waiting to use that quote, it’ll make me feel bad about myself

            • KHR says:

Can I get my size 10 1/2 hat? I think I should start wearing that around this story, as apparently some people aren’t living in the real world.

            • KHR says:

Fuuuuuuuuuu……….. Something is up with these. That WAS a response to Travis. I checked it three times before submitting.

    70. josephg says:

      KHR,
Gravity is not a theory, its a fact. Scientists don”t know exactly what it is,but its one of the four forces of nature: electromagnetism, gravity, the weak force, and the strong force of physics.. einstein thought it was due to the curvature of space-time,and our current model of the universe requires 10-dimensions to accomodate these forces. “String theory ” in physics also requires 10 dimensions to accomodate the four forces of nature.
The pope can acknowledge evolution all he wants to, but that doesn”t make it true. Many buy the lies of evolutionist, since they don”t know the facts Why don”t you get a copy of Dr. Gish”s book like i recommended? Its out of print, but you may be able to get a copy in a used bookstore.
Christians like myself, will never accept abortion
until its voted on by the people. We will never accept a judges decision as final. IF its voted on by a majority, ok- but not until then.
I do require proof for things, not just blind faith.See my reply below.

      • KHR says:

Gravity is a theory. Gravitation is a law. There is a difference.
Is that the same Dr. Gish who is known for introducing the ‘Gish Gallop’? Respected debaters won’t use it, and it’s very Bill O’Reilly-esque… throw a bunch of facts at them that no one has a prayer of keeping up with, then don’t give them enough time to debate back. I could talk on and on about something without presenting credible evidence just to keep the other person confused, but then I would be you.

        • KHR says:

I should have put facts in quotes, as Gish has been noted for taking liberties. And believing the Earth is only 6,000 years old.

      • KHR says:

And in case you missed my point… there are Christians that not only support abortion, they have them!

      • Travis says:

“Christians like myself, will never accept abortion”

you mean douchebags like you. let’s just be honest for once.

        • KHR says:

You know, Travis, I just looked it up. Did you know there are approximately 38,000 different denominations of Christians? And josephg here thinks he speaks for every. single. one. We should be bowing, we found the emperor of Christians, apparently, and he’s graced us with his presence on this site.

I honestly had no idea there were so many denominations of Christians. Learn something new every day

But until he starts with the whole “Y’all can’t judge him. Only GAWD can judge Mister Sandusky. Let he who is without sinblahblahblahblah ” spiel, he can’t possibly be a “true” christian.

But Joey, next time you talk to this “the jesus” ask him to help me build my bookshelf. need a new one anyway

            • KHR says:

I felt the need to be a bit educational, since someone in my exchange with joseph should be.

      • KHR says:

I just called ten used book stores between my town and Chicago. None of them have it, one person even laughed when I asked. Former debater, he said, and he said he wouldn’t stock that book if someone paid him. So I looked in my library, no go there. They’d have to ship it in from another state. Yeah, I’m not bothering with that crap. I could pick it up for a penny on Amazon, but I doubt it’s even worth that. But you can read the Dan Pearce article for free online. Did you do that, joseph?

        • KHR says:

But I think you should go on Amazon’s site and check out a review by Brian M Ranzoni. He carefully dissects the book and the fallacies, and says Dr. Gish apparently messes up details in the Bible and everyday scientific details like the moon reflects light and doesn’t emit it’s own. Yeah, that’s something I want to waste my precious reading time on. Brian also cites his rebuttals, so I believe him much more than I believe your rants.

          • Travis says:

“Gish has also been criticised for using a standardized presentation during debates. While undertaking research for a debate with Gish, Michael Shermer noted that for several debates Gish’s opening, assumptions about his opponent, slides and even jokes remained identical. In the debate itself, Shermer has written that while he stated he was not an atheist and willing to accept the existence of a divine creator, Gish’s rebuttal concerned itself primarily with proving that Shermer was an atheist and therefore immoral. Massimo Pigliucci, who has debated Gish five times, said that he ignores evidence contrary to his religious beliefs. Others have accused Gish of stonewalling arguments with fabricated facts or figures”

I think I see why Joe here is pushing his book…

      Max the Cat,
You”re right i can”t prove God made the world in six days, the way we can scientifically prove the world is round, or a thousand other things. There are some very good indications, that Christianity is true however.
After Jesus’s death eleven of his disciples were put to death for their faith. They endured torture and death because of what they believed. Now i ask you:hat is the likelyhood they would all die because of a hoax? Miracles-in contradiction of nature-have been observed. My computers acting up-I”ll be back tomorro.

      • KHR says:

If being tortured and abused and maintaining your faith is proof that a religion is correct, there are a few people in Gitmo you should probably talk to.
Or if it’s a thing about going until death there’s a bunch of people who were executed during the Crusades or the Inquisition (you’ll have to wait until the afterlife for those)
Or a bunch of people executed by the Nazis.
        Or some Buddhists.
        Or Sikhs.
        I could go on.

        • KHR says:

There is a benefit to all these religions surviving Joseph’s test for being a true religion… there’s a shit ton of paid time off coming our way. Or at least time and a half for those who have to work. I rather like Joseph’s true religion test

    72. josephg3086 says:

      Max the Cat,
Plenty of miracles have been observed in San Giovanni Rotundo-and verified by doctors and other scientists. Padre Pio healed many people. One was a girl who had no retina in her eye, but came to Padre Pio. After her visit, a doctor said that “it was the closest thing to a miracle he has ever seen.
my experience with atheists is that they don”t want to be convinced no matter what the evidence. Carl Sagan, when alive was asked if he would investigate the psychic and spiritual side of life. He naturally said no. He was then asked if he would go to a religious site, to investigate miracles. He again said no. As a scientist he”s supposed to be open to investigation, but yet, he refused to go! Why? Because he didn”t believe in them, they naturally couldn”t exist. Way to go Carl!
There is plenty of evidence the earth is young not old. The billions of years old theory was criticized by many foreign scientists-especially german. An old age is required to maintain the fiction of evolution.
The sun is converting hydrogen into helium at a fairly constant rate. Now, if the solar system is really billions of years old, The sun long ago would have burnt out.
A very simple proof that the earth is young is the recession of the moon from the earth. The moons recession is constant, and well known. Now, if the world is “billions of years old,” the moon would long ago have receded away into space, and wreaked havoc upon the earth.
Its like the Bible says; even if one should rise from the dead, they will not believe. And boy, is that a FACT.

      • KHR says:

Considering the stars and such that have been observed in pretty much the same configuration since these things first started being recorded stars last a really, really long time. Scientists estimate the sun’s lifespan is about 10 BILLION years, and it’s about halfway through that. Smaller stars burn less energy, therefore they last longer, possibly trillions of years. Larger stars burn more energy, and have been observed burning out. Of course, this is all science and therefore you won’t believe a damn word of it, but keep going ahead.
Carbon dating and amino acid racemization can date things a lot longer back than 6,000 years, but how good of God it was to see that these might be used against him in the future. The path of the Baptistina asteroid family proved they collided with earth some 80 million years ago, but according to you the earth wasn’t there yet, so I guess that’s out. Tree rings have proved that some trees were around 11,000 years ago. Coral takes thousands of years to grow into the structures we see today, and has to have been working on the Great Barrier reef for much longer than 6,000 years. There have been 171 cases of documented geomagnetic reversals, and since those only happen every 50,000 years this goes against a new-Earth theory. Geneticist Spencer Wells can trace the y-chromosome back to a single male who lived 60,000 years ago, though some people say it’s more. Of course, I could be telling all this to my dog for as much good as it’ll do me.
As I believe in God, I do believe there are miracles, but I don’t believe these point to a young earth. And many of the people who have performed ‘miracles’ have controversies surrounding them, including Padre Pio (whom only has anecdotal evidence backing up the claims, no physical proof). Many religions have faith healers, and many of their followers claim to be healed after dealing with them, does that make all them true? The burden of proof is on those who claim they actually happened, not the skeptics.

      • Max The Cat says:

There’s obviously no reasoning with you Jesus Joe, so, in all sincerity, I beg you to fuck off. How much time did you waste creating this bullshit argument? I’m done wasting my time with you.

    73. josephg3086 says:

      KHR,
I don”t speak for all Christians only ones who believe in the Bible. If they don”t believe they”re not Christian at all.
Quit looking up things on the internet-its not helping your arguments any. How does reading a criticism of Gish change the facts. Do you know what punctuated equilibrium is? Like others i don”t think you want to be convinced. Look at my reply to Max about Miracles.
The eye either functions as a whole or not at all. YOU can”t have a “slit which lets some light through.” Its like having half an engine in your car.
Lets get back to being by: men and women may say they”re “Bi”, but thats nonsense. Many are embarrased to come out and say they”re homosexual.
Notice Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt- She says shes bisexual just for appearance sake. But how much sex does she have with her husband/ Her “romps” with other women are well known.” COME ON!

      • Travis says:

actually if you want to go on arguments alone, KHR is leaving you in the dust. Your “arguments” are merely smokescreens.

“Gays go to hell.” “bisexuals are just homos who are afraid to admit they’re homos” “Evolution is a faux pas” “Abortions are crammed down our throats.”

rinse and repeat when educated statements that conflict what you say

For someone who brags on how smart he is, you’re rather dense aren’t you?

      • KHR says:

Do you follow the Bible as closely as you say you do, joseph? Do you do any of the following: eat swine and/or touch the skin of a pig (aka a football, and you shouldn’t watch those sinners), have a tattoo, get a round hair cut or shaved your beard (but, despite Jesus having long hair, that’s wrong, too), gossiped, worn a cotton/poly blend, interacted with a woman on her menses (I know you’ve done this, since we’ve gone back and forth while I’m on the rag, but I don’t know if it counts over the internet), masturbated (especially without taking a shower after, though I guess you could do it in the shower and only have one sin on you), worked on the Sabbath, been divorced/remarried, eaten shellfish, or slept with someone without being married? Have you heard a woman speak in church or a child cuss out their parent and not stoned them? Are you running around killing adulterers? I don’t get why one of the Comandments says don’t murder, but killing so many people is condoned by the Bible, can you explain that to me? Have you killed anyone who uses the Lords name in vain while you’re out walking around? I have a good friend in the Army, and the Bible says young virgins are spoils of war, so can he just pick one up in Afghanistan? If some man raped Lolo Jones (a proclaimed virgin until marriage), should I contribute to the wedding they must have according to the Bible? Why are we allowing all these women bosses, since women aren’t supposed to have authority over men? Does that mean you’ll leave the country if Hillary Clinton ever gets elected president? How about slaves, which country can I get them from? Did your mother have an epidural or a natural birth (or your wife, if you have one)? Have you made an image of anything, because I’m sketchy on whether or not this includes photos, statues, and the like and I need some guidance. Cherrypicking is a favorite pass-time of modern Christians, and I’m willing to bet you are guilty at some point as well. And before you start in on the ‘that’s the old Testament’ crap, remember that everyone’s favorite anti-homosexual verse is in Leviticus with many of these rules. Either you can’t use it against gays, or you have to follow all the rules, or you shut the fuck up. Of course in Proverbs it says I shouldn’t answer you because it makes me look foolish as well, but I should answer you, otherwise you think your arguments are valid. Which one is it?!? I’ll let you get working on the turn the other cheek thing.
Now, Angelina Jolie has not only admitted to being a bisexual, but she’s had a relationship with a woman. Lady Gaga is also bisexual, what do you think the song ‘Poker Face’ was about? Ani Franco is pretty out, too. Alan Cumming is well known for switching sides, though he is committed to his husband. There have been rumors of Cary Grant, James Dean, Greta Garbo, and Marlon Brando all indulging in both sides of the fence. Lindsey Lohan’s been seen around town with men and women. Margaret Cho is openly out. Historically there’s been Nero, Robert Carr, Cassinova, Armand de Gramont, Alfred Kinsey (look up the Kinsey scale), Anne Lennard, P. L. Travers, Virginia Woolf, Lady Caroline Paget and her husband Sir Michael Duff, and Katharine Philips. We also have Evan Rachel Wood and Megan Fox, because they’re great eye candy. Of the admitted bisexuals many are in heterosexual relationships, but they fully admit to liking the same sex. Some are in homosexual relationships, but fully admit to liking the opposite sex. I doubt Lady Gaga is afraid to admit anything at this point, not much is a secret.
See, what’s going on is you think you can’t be bisexual and monogamous. This is one of my biggest pet peeves. Bisexuals are not sluts who fuck anything that moves, or sex addicts who don’t care where they get it from. I’ve only met one bisexual who is also poly-amorous, the rest were either in a monogamous relationship or looking for one. But being in a monogamous relationship does not stop the attraction to whatever sex you’re not in a relationship with. I still look at other women, flirt with them on occasion, read my husband’s Hustler, and been to the strip club (both men and women, I’m not picky) with the girls on occasion.
If anyone here is only looking at life with their eyes only slits, it’s you. If it doesn’t fit in your box of what you believe in, it doesn’t exist. You repeat the same things, even after I’ve proven you’re wrong (like my statistics post), and refuse to budge or concede a single point.

        • KHR says:

Oh, and I have had relationships with women. There was one for about a year prior to meeting my husband, and she broke my heart. I’ve also had people refuse to date me because I’m bisexual and therefore ‘going to cheat’, and I’ve had people think that because I’m bisexual I don’t want to be monogamous.
I’ve been a couple with my husband for nearly nine years, and we’ve been married for six of those. I’ve never cheated. I’ve flirted, with his permission, but I’ve never let it get to anything more than a flirt or a dance, and if he was uncomfortable with it, I’d stop.

      • KHR says:

So of those 38,000 Christian denominations, how many do you think don’t believe in the Bible? I’ll give you a few thousand, but you’re still down to about 20,000 denominations because I’m feeling generous today. If all Christians believed the same thing, wouldn’t you all be one giant denomination? Do you speak for all 20,000 who do believe in the Bible?

      • KHR says:

Oh, and BTW, punctuated equilibrium- evolution happens in spurts, and things don’t exhibit changes for a long period of time, but occasionally evolution will happen. Why are you using a pro-evolution idea in your argument against evolution? Or are you a believer in Saltationism?

    74. KHR says:

Ah, Joey, how I wish you were still around, so we can discuss the beauty that is happening tonight!
