  • Help Identify Victims Of Rodney Alcala

We’ve talked about Rodney Alcala before.

He’s a wonderful human being and was one of the more interesting Dating Game contestants.

There are photos that Huntington Beach Police would like to get out into the general public so people who may be able to identify the people who are featured on these photos, will be able to do so.

Take a look. If you know anything about these, contact Huntington Beach, California Police Detective Patrick Ellis at 714-375-5066 or pellis@hbpd.org.

    1. USS Yorktown says:

Rodney Alcala could be on of the most prolific serial killers in American history. Some put his victim number as high as 130!

I’m so happy to see a new story here! Is there any update on Max The Cat? I hope this site keeps going strong and dragging these monsters out into the light of day. Thank you for all you do.

    3. Fred says:

It looks like he gained the trust of a lot of people as some of these photos appear to be something that only a friend (or closer) can take.
Looks like many beautiful people were his targets.
Looking at those pictures was like opening a time capsule……. I was born in 1967 and many of his subjects appear to be only a few years older than I. Unfortunately some of the parents of victims have passed away, so some may go unidentified.
At 69, odds are this POS will be in a very warm place soon.

      • Grimston says:

A “piece of shit”? No, he was an extremely charismatic man with a genius IQ. He also played the roles of judge, jury, and executioner of as many as 130 subjects, as USS Yorktown stated. I envy him. Yes, I envy him.

        • LLt says:

Oh Fuck Off Grimston. Quit being a shitstain and try being a productive member of society. If you can’t do that then kill yourself.

          • Grimston says:

I’m not even 16. I can’t be a productive member of society. You remind me of my dad with his retarded voice, “(NAME), YOU MUST BE SUCCESSFUL. DO NOT SMOKE MARIJUANA AS IT WILL CORRUPT YOU. BE A PRODUCTIVE MEMBER OF SOCIETY.”
And when I tell him I will smoke if I want, “(NAME), IF YOU ARE SMOKING NOW, WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING AT 18? STEALING CARS?”

            • Travis says:

whats that? Yet another case of how marijuana breeds dumbasses? color me surprised

            • Grimston says:

I like it how you read about how horrible people are on here, and then you still actually give a shit about whether people use drugs. Pathetic

            • Grimston says:

And I was a dumbass long before I started smoking. Albert Einstein smoked weed, and Obama (while he’s not particularly smart, the fact that he was able to become president says something) admitted to snorting coke and smoking weed when he was young.

            • Travis says:

Oh I’m sure you were. You said you’re not even 16, so you’re supposed to be stupid. Kudos on that.

Serious question though: Do you actually read the articles, or are you illiterate? I’ll make it simple for you

99.989% of the time here: People+ drugs = bad. I don’t give a shit what Obama and Einstein did, both great men who did great things, you’re just some little shit who likes to get high.

            • Grimston says:

What I’m trying to say is that there is nothing wrong with it. You could go to my high school and ask anyone if they smoke, and there’s a 50/50 chance they will say yes.

            • Grimston says:

And you said marijuana breeds dumbasses, right before you said Obama and Einstein were great men who did great things. That’s just a bit hypocritical.

            • Travis says:

“You could go to my high school and ask anyone if they smoke, and there’s a 50/50 chance they will say yes.”

That doesn’t mean there’s nothing wrong with it, genius. It just means teenagers are still stupid.

“And you said marijuana breeds dumbasses, right before you said Obama and Einstein were great men who did great things”

I don’t think you know the definition of hypocrisy.

            • Grimston says:

There IS nothing wrong with it. It’s completely harmless. Rich Ivy League students do it. Genius physicists do it. The president of the United States did it.

            • Travis says:

I don’t know why I’m still bothering with you honestly, I usually don’t play chess with the blind like this.

Let’s ignore for the moment marijuana is still against the law, and how you’ve pretty much admitted that you’re already a criminal before you’re even 16. (Your parents must be so proud)

A: You’re inhaling smoke, genius. Go ahead, tell me what benefit that can have. I’ll wait.

“Smoking marijuana regularly (a joint a day) can damage the cells in the bronchial passages which protect the body against inhaled microorganisms and decrease the ability of the immune cells in the lungs to fight off fungi, bacteria, and tumor cells. For patients with already weakened immune systems, this means an increase in the possibility of dangerous pulmonary infections, including pneumonia, which often proves fatal in AIDS patients.

Studies further suggest that marijuana is a general “immunosuppressant” whose degenerative influence extends beyond the respiratory system. Regular smoking has been shown to materially affect the overall ability of the smoker?s body to defend itself against infection by weakening various natural immune mechanisms, including macrophages (a.k.a. “killer cells”) and the all-important T-cells. Obviously, this suggests the conclusion, which is well-supported by scientific studies, that the use of marijuana as a medical therapy can and does have a very serious negative effect on patients with pre-existing immune deficits resulting from AIDS, organ transplantation, or cancer chemotherapy, the very conditions for which marijuana has most often been touted and suggested as a treatment. “

            • Grimston says:

Let me put this in terms you might understand: if someone killed a child rapist, that would make them a criminal, but that doesn’t mean they’re bad. The same thing goes for marijuana; just because someone smokes it, it doesn’t mean they’re bad (there have definitely been evil potheads, but it has nothing to do with their choice to smoke or the actual use). Just because someone breaks a rule that the government makes, it is ignorant to assume they’re bad (this is the case with soft drug use and justified killing). I never said it has a benefit. I’m saying that if people want to choose to smoke bud, then the government shouldn’t be involved in it.

            • Travis says:

That’s one of the worst analogies for marijuana use I’ve ever read. I implore you to stop before you hurt yourself.

Also, I like how you sidestepped the medical information I quoted.

        • Lisa says:

May I repost your comment on various other sites, please? As a reminder of how important using birth control really is.

    4. goatgirl says:

lol… while I agree wholeheartedly with your advice to this silly little troll, I think the best thing to do with them is to ignore them. They shrivel up and starve when they don’t get anyone’s hackles up. :-)

      • KHR says:

Anyone who tries to get a rise out of us by emulating the people on this site don’t realize how tough our skin has become from these stories. Seriously, “I’m a big, scary man, I want to be like Rodney Alcala” is nothing like reading what Rodney actually did.
I’m just waiting for someone to be stupid and start bragging how they’re going to be like Breivik. I hope the FBI videotapes the ensuing raid for our amusement as they’re pulled, piss-stained pants and all, from their mommy’s basement.

        • goatgirl says:

Heh… piss-stained and crusted pants. Eeeew…. basement-dwelling mommy moochers who want to be like creepy old Rodney. Yeah, I’m shaking in my little booties, aren’t you?

      • Travis says:

Ignoring them is not nearly as much fun though.

    5. loveable76 says:

Please don’t ignore someone who wants to be like a serial killer. They are a threat to all humankind. Allow them to talk and respond as we usually do. But just don’t ignore them.

      • KHR says:

        Welcome to the internet.
Here there are people called ‘trolls’.
The ones we have on this site sometimes read our horrified reactions to other people, and say that they would love to kill a bunch of people/ rape babies/ whatever, that *insert scumbag’s name here* had it right and we should all be striving to live up to their *insert crime*. They do it to get a rise out of us. Anyone who has been here any length of time has grown cynical of these assholes, they show up on many pages. Poke around, you’re bound to find a few dozen of these trolls. Sometimes many on one thread.
If I seriously thought someone was going to be a serial killer I would contact authorities. But so far we’ve had naught but trolls.
