James is awesome.

James Davis, a man’s man, likes many things that other men like.

He likes drugs.

He likes cars.

He likes sex.

James here is basically like a down-home version of James Dean. Party hard, drive fast, screw as you please.

James picks women he’s comfortable with, and that means they can’t be too independant and they can’t be real deep thinkers.

This is 36-year-old Sandra Davis. Sandra likes James and drugs.

Sandra Davis was married to James Davis for a while, but they’re separated now.

From what information we’ve been able to gather, they did not split up because one of Sandra’s eyes is lower than the other. It’s very sad that such a cute couple split up, but like everyone will tell you, life goes on in Eastman.

In 1996, a girl-child sprang forth from Sandra’s loins. As Sandra herself would tell you, that girl is not really all that important. She just kind of comes into the story later.

This here is 66-year-old Robert Wayne Bearden, the manager of Shorty’s Used Cars – a fine establishment in Eastman, Georgia that only sells the very highest quality pre-owned vehicles at the very lowest prices.

Back in 2007, when James Davis and his wife Sandra met Wayne Bearden for the first time, Robert Wayne convinced James and Sandra that a particular 1998 Dodge Caravan was the absolute best choice for a vehicle for their family. Priced at a low, low $10,678, the minivan was an absolute steal! All the Davis family had to do to drive that baby home was make low, low monthly payments of $281 for a few years.

Now up to this point, this isn’t an especially interesting story. Thousands of people every day go into car dealerships and buy cars. What’s the big deal?

Well, the story really only got interesting when the Davis family sat down in the finance office of Shorty’s Used Cars with Mr. Robert Wayne Bearden. That was because the Davis family financed the majority of the value of the car with their 12-year-old daughter’s vagina.

Somehow in that office that day, the Davis family and Shorty’s Used Cars general manager struck a deal. Robert Wayne Bearden would use their 12-year-old daughter sexually whenever he wanted, and the Davis family would drive an 11-year-old Dodge minivan.

Now, why would anyone have a problem with that?

Everyone was perfectly fine with the arrangement for 2 years.

James and Sandra would get a call from Robert Wayne requesting a payment on the minivan. James or Sandra would put their pre-teen/teen daughter into the minivan and drive her to Wayne. Mr. Bearden would pop a viagra or something and put his sexagenarian sexual abilities to work on a girl who was 2 years older than the minivan he sold to her parents.

As a side note, if you think about it, the now 14-year-old girl never even really got to drive the van, despite the fact that she was really the one who paid for it. That’s kind of unfair.

According to Captain Tony Winborn of the Dodge sheriff’s office, there are no records of the Davis’s making any payments from the day that the van was driven off the lot until the day that the Davis family was caught up in a major drug investigation by the local authorities.

That drug investigation, which had been ongoing for quite some time, revealed that there were a bunch of people in town who had serious drug problems. Someone stole 276 vials of controlled narcotic from the local hospital, other people were selling large quantities of marijuana and cocaine, and there was this one couple (the Davis family) who was paying for their drugs by allowing random drug dealers to have sex with their daughter.

Everyone was arrested, which is kind of a relief.

Sandra Davis and James Clarence Davis have both been charged with pandering and child molestation. James Davis is also charged with aggravated child molestation. The investigation revealed that James and Sandra had both molested their daughter over a number of years, which may have been why they felt comfortable pimping the girl.

Robert Wayne Bearden has been charged with one count of aggravated child molestation, one count of child molestation and with being in possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Robert

Jennifer Daugherty may have looked like a 30 years old woman, but because of of some flaw in her brain, she acted more like a 12 year old girl. Like a lot of people with this particular type of mental retardation, she also had a very naive view of the world. According to her sister, Joy Berkholder, Jennifer’s mental disability made her vulnerable:

“She trusted anybody. If you met her today, she was your friend for her life.

And if you had a friend, they would be her friend as well. She trusted everybody, she believed everybody was good and that nobody would hurt her.”

Jennifer’s stepfather, Robert Murphy, echoed Joy’s words;

“Jennifer was just a gentle, laid-back person. There wasn’t a mean bone in her body.”

As I found out more and more about Jennifer Daugherty, she became someone I wish I had known, so I could have protected her from all the evil that exists in the world. It was obvious that her naiveté’ and trusting nature was going to end up getting her in serious trouble.

Jennifer Daugherty’s aunt, Linda Kovaks, must have had that same feeling.

“There wasn’t a mean bone in her body. She loved and trusted everyone.”

“I always worried that Jennie was too trusting.”

Jennifer’s sister Joy said it in stronger terms.

“She was exploited, and her kindness and her handicap made her very vulnerable,”

There are always people out there just waiting for an innocent victim to come along. Some of those people found Jennifer Daugherty, and the aftermath of this fateful meeting was full of broken hearts and tears.

Jennifer was last seen Monday, February 8th, 2010, by Robert Murphy, when he put her on the bus for a routine trip from their home in Mount Pleasant to Greensburg, both in Pennsylvania, where she had a dental appointment and a scheduled meeting with a counselor.

Later that day, Jennifer Daugherty called home and asked permission to stay over at “Peggy’s” house. Apparently, some time ago she had met some people, including Peggy, at a Community Center in Greensburg and told her family that they had become her friends.

Twenty-three-year-old Ricky V. Smyrnes is a just the kind of guy I’d want my daughter to bring home for dinner. He’d been arrested at least three time for beating the women in his life – His ex-wife, an ex-girlfriend and, well isn’t this just precious, his own mother. He’s been released from prison just a couple of weeks ago, I’m guessing for one of those assault convictions.

Bonnie Gordon of Jeannette said she incurred the wrath of Smyrnes when she broke up with him in June 2006. Smyrnes broke a water pitcher over her head and tried to rape her, according to a protection from abuse court order filed by Gordon.

“I asked him to leave. He went berserk on me.”

His constant companion lately had been seventeen-year-old high school student Angela Marinucci. Neighbor Jim O’Brien said that when he saw Marinucci earlier this week,

“She was wearing like a princess crown, a tiara. I thought, ‘You have to be kidding me.’ “

Yes, a match made in heaven my friends.

Our two lovebirds lived in a North Pennsylvania apartment with Peggy Miller, 26, a mentally challenged woman who met a man from Michigan with mental health issues on MySpace. Miller, who had lived in homeless shelters in the area, somehow talked the guy, Robert Loren Masters Jr., 36, into moving to Greensburg.

Also sharing the apartment, which had no furniture, was another couple, 20-year-olds Melvin Knight and Amber C. Meidinger. Knight, like Smyrnes, had just finished a bid in Westmoreland County Prison, on January 27th of this year.

These six misfits were a regular fixture in downtown Greensburg, walking to the library, thrift shops and a community center for the mentally ill. They slept on the floor of their apartment and subsisted on welfare checks and disability payments.

At some point after her call home Monday, Jennifer Daugherty entered that downtown Greensburg apartment. She had no idea of the enormity of the mistake she was making, or that she would never leave that apartment alive.

Sometime that night there was a disagreement, and Jennifer Daugherty lost the argument. The six occupants shaved her head and smeared her face with nail polish. They forced Daugherty to drink and eat urine, detergent, medication, spices and vegetable oil. They beat her with a towel rack, a vacuum hose and a crutch. They wrapped Christmas lights around her.

Neighbors reported hearing screams from a female and sounds of someone being slammed into the ground. This sort of thing went on for nearly 33 hours – THIRTY-THREE HOURS, and no one ever thought to call the police.

Finally, on Wednesday, February 10th, Jennifer assailants forced her to write a suicide note. Then, in the only act of mercy any of them would ever show this childlike woman who trusted everyone, Melvin Knight stabbed her in the chest, side and neck and Ricky Smyrnes cut her wrists, killing her.

Knight and Smyrnes wrapped Jennifer Daugherty in plastic, secured it with more Christmas lights, and stuffed their victim into a trash can. Then they dragged the trash can a few blocks to the parking lot of a nearby middle school, where the it was found about 6:30 a.m. Thursday by a truck driver.

It didn’t take police long to find out that Smyrnes, Masters, Knight, Miller, Meidinger and Marinucci were the last people to see Jennifer Daugherty alive, and even less time for these six morons to start throwing each other under the bus.

On Friday, February 11th, 2010, Ricky Smyrnes, 23, Robert Masters Jr., 36, Melvin Knight, 20, Peggy Miller, 27, Amber Meidinger, 20; and Angela Marinucci, 17, all of Greensburg, were charged with homicide, kidnapping, aggravated assault and conspiracy. All are being held without bond in the Westmoreland County Prison, Pennsylvania.

Cops wouldn’t speculate on each defendant’s degree of responsibility, but the did say that one of the six most likely was the ringleader of the group. I think the smart money is on Ricky Smyrnes; He already has an extensive record for hurting women and was a ticking time bomb, in my opinion.

Police did not comment on a motive for the murder, but the did confirm that Ricky Smyrnes was aggressively pursuing a sexual relationship with Jennifer Daugherty, even though he was supposedly in a committed relationship with the 17-year-old defendant, Angela Marinucci. According to Jennifer’s best friend, Robert Cathcart:

“Jennifer Daugherty didn’t like Ricky Smyrnes, but he would force her to do things with him,”
“He was being a bully toward her, but she wouldn’t let it happen.”

That gives us jealousy and rejection as possible motives, or both. Perhaps Jennifer Daugherty rejected Ricky Smyrnes, and true to form (He assaulted his wife over the exact same issue – he wanted to and she wasn’t interested), Smyrnes snapped and the game was on.

Whatever the reason, Jennifer Daugherty didn’t deserve this. No one does of course. But because Jennifer’s mental disability made her so trusting and friendly, that somehow made it so much more offensive to me. In my eyes it was a child killing, because Jennifer was so childlike.

Jennifer Daugherty’s family has been totally devastated by what’s happened. It seemed to me like they were torn between wanting to protect “Jenni” from the evil in the world, and letting her enjoy life. In the end, their worst fears were realized.

We are looking for a picture of this individual because Abel Aguirre is a rabbitfucker.

On the first day of of June in 2008 (a sacred day for rabbitfuckers), Abel Aguirre waited until his roommate had left their apartment for a while.

Left alone with his roommate’s bunny, Abel did what rabbitfuckers do – he took off all his clothes, put a condom on, pulled the rabbit out of its cage and made sweet, sweet love with that rabbit.

It’s hard to imagine a human, who probably weighs about 160 pounds or so and stands between 5 and 6 feet tall, having a small enough penis that would fit inside any of a bunny rabbit’s many orifices. We suppose Abel Aguirre fits the bill in that regard, though, so for all you women out there – there you go! Just wear some bunny ears to your first date and you’ll be good.

Aguirre was gone by the time his roommate came home – so when she went to the bathroom and noticed that there was blood, clumps of rabbit fur and a bloody rabbit claw on the bathroom floor she was understandably upset. You can’t leave a mess like that in a communal living area, after all. And you definitely shouldn’t leave your roommate’s pet shivering, injured and bleeding back in its cage for her to find.

After taking in the mess that her rabbitfucking roommate left behind, she checked out Able’s room. Any doubts that she might have had going into his room that he was a rabbitfucker were shattered when she found a used condom with rabbit fur on it in a trash can. Pretty solid evidence of rabbitbuggery there, yes sir.

Abel Aguirre was arrested and charged with animal cruelty.

And, of course, he insisted on a jury trial.

According to one jury member, who had to listen to the testimony of the people who had caught the rabbitfucker:

My jaw hit the floor.

We’re guessing Abel was hoping for a fellow rabbitfucker to be on the jury, but he was out of luck. Just normal people on the jury, people who are pretty much unsympathetic with rabbitfuckers. Especially as Jake Wark, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office spokesman, revealed that the rabbit died shortly after being raped of causes unrelated to it being raped.

It died of a broken heart.

That sounds about right for a normal person’s response to hearing about rabbitfucking.

Abel was found guilty of animal abuse. We’re waiting to see what kind of sentence he gets.

Just for further reference for all you rabbitfuckers out there, the phrase is “Fuck like rabbits.” Pay special attention to the word “Like,” please. Don’t cross it out and go with what’s left.

Mr. Treanor has, like many of us, a problem with boredom.

And really, boredom is a huge problem in America today. With the 300+ million people wandering around the United States, a sizable portion of them are bored at any particular time.

This could be blamed on any number of things, but it’s mostly because – thanks to the man – there’s absolutely nothing to do in America.

So, because America isn’t doing it’s job to entertain everyone at all times, sometimes people get tempted into getting involved in the wrong things. And when I say “people” I mean James Treanor and when I say “the wrong things” I mean child pornography.

James Treanor, a food-service worker at Walt Disney World, just happened to be caught on Christmas Eve, in a net cast by the good folks working for the Lake County Sheriff’s Cyber Crimes Unit.

Apparently there are people out there with badges and guns who have some kind of problem with people who produce, share and collect child pornography. According to rumor, these people with guns and badges investigate people who are bored and decide to share child pornography on the internet.

It’s hard to imagine why.

According to police reports, when police arrived to alleviate his boredom and search his laptop, James Treanor had more than 5000 images and more than 75 videos of child pornography in his possession. According to police, the images were of children clearly under the age of 12 and many involved the sexual abuse of infants.

Sgt. Chris Loyko had the pleasure of interviewing James Treanor and writing an arrest report, which contained the explanation that James had given police for his extensive collection of images that, in a better time, would have resulted in this particular Disney worker being drawn and quartered right on Main Street.

Mr. Treanor told Sgt. Loyko that due to his ever-present boredom, he was basically forced to collect child pornography and masturbate furiously to it.

America, you failed Mr. Treanor. Shame on you.

James also told police that he knew collecting child pornography was illegal. He also explained how he had deleted the really bad images a little earlier because a friend of his was coming to spend Christmas with Mr. Treanor and that friend might not understand about the whole child pornography thing.

James Treanor is now in jail, where he faces 200 counts of possessing child pornography.

They’ve only recently been arrested, and their victim, Shaniya Davis was only found yesterday, so we don’t even have an autopsy. Antoinette’s sister thinks the charges are false, and Antoinette has not yet entered a plea, so I do feel a bit uncomfortable about establishing a poll, but this is the sort of story that knifes the average reader of PYSIH in the heart. Why would I inflict this on you? My physical proximity to the case has already left a gaping emotional wound in my soul, and my mother always taught me to share.

This is Antoinette Davis.  She’s accused of offering her 5 year old daughter up for prostitution.  A judge informed her she’s facing 40 years in prison.  She does seem to have two jobs, and Shaniya was the product of a one night stand with Bradley Lockhart.  Bradley raised Shaniya for most of her life alongside his seven year old son, but had allowed Shaniya to live with her mother, starting about a month ago–a decision he now regrets bitterly.  Antoinette lived with her boyfriend, initially a suspect, but since cleared of charges so far.

Here we have the beautiful victim herself. We don’t really know what happened to her yet, but Antoinette’s back porch was littered with human feces, as was a blanket that someone threw away in her neighbor’s garbage can. Police found the blanket with a police dog, but forensic results aren’t back from the state lab, to conclusively link them to the girl. After finding the blanket, Bradley Lockhart made an impassioned plea on national television for his daughter’s safe return.

“Drop her off at Wal-Mart, anywhere, I don’t care – just so somebody can find her and bring her back to the people that love her,”

“She’s a precious, little angel, full of joy,” he said. “A little reserved when you first meet her, but once she gets to know you, she just runs around, plays and won’t leave you alone.”

His sister added:

“I just ask that, at this time, please just let her go,” said Shaniya’s aunt, Carey Lockhart-Davis. “She doesn’t deserve this. Have a kind heart.”

Heart breaking… just heart breaking, especially when you add Mario Andrette McNeil into this equation.

Oh him? He’s the man who is accused of kidnapping Shaniya, who Antoinette, Shaniya’s mother, may or may not have sold her to for sex. (click here for McNeill’s arrest record)

Yeah, makes you want to cringe around that blanket thing a whole lot more.

Are these folks guilty? Is there going to be a poll for them? Not yet. Not yet. I’m holding out hope that there’s a giant misunderstanding here. I’m holding out a little bit of hope that Mario carried the girl into his motel room and spent the whole night teaching her how to play Canasta, and that the disposal of Shaniya was a confused woman disposing of a body after a horrible accident…

I’m not holding out much hope, but stay tuned for updates.

Update:

Mario McNeill is charged with first-degree murder and first-degree rape of a child in his arrest warrant, which was issued after police said they collected hair and fibers, clothes, and a straw from his 1997 Mitsubishi Galant.

Damn it.  Just damn it all to hell.  Mario apparently raped, then strangled the girl to death.

Police say Antoinette Nicole Davis gave her daughter Shaniya to Mario Andrette McNeill for the puposes of prostitution. Simply put, Davis turned her five-year-old daughter into fucking sex slave in order to cover a large drug debt she had.

Mario McNeill was caught on a surveillance camera at the Comfort Suites hotel in Sanford, North Carolina, carrying Shaniya Nicole Davis into a room. An employee at the hotel thought he recognized the little girl from new reports and phoned police, but by the time they arrived McNeill and the girl had checked out.

On Monday afternoon, November 16th, 2009, police recovered the body of 5-year-old Shaniya Nicole Davis. She had been dumped along the side of the road about six miles from her home. She’d been suffocated to death.

God Damn it! God Damn it! God Damn it! Some days I wonder if I really want to do this fucking job anymore.

Antoinette Nicole Davis was charged with human trafficking, felony child abuse, prostitution, filing a false police report, resisting, delaying, and obstructing a police officer. Robert Melia Jr. used to be a police officer in Moorestown, New Jersey. There’s a very good reason why Robert isn’t a cop anymore.

Back in 2008, Robert Melia, 38, and his live-in girlfriend, the beautiful and talented Heather Lewis, were indicted for were indicted together on 45 counts of various charges related to the sexual assaults of all three juvenile females between June 2000 and January 2008. It seems Bobby and Heather had diddled a teenaged girl between August of 2007 and January of 2008, until she finally found enough courage to tell her stepfather about the incidents.

Needless to say, stepdad was a little pissed off, and reported Robert Melia to the Burlington County Municipal Police. Melia was quickly arrested, and suspended from the Moorsetown Police Department. As a matter of routine, a search warrant was executed for Robert Melia’s house, and his personal computer was seized as evidence.

Among other things, police found a large collection of child pornography and a video of Robert Melia sexually assaulting another young girl. They also found evidence that he and his girlfriend had assaulted a young boy, and a third teenaged girl.

By the time they were finished, Robert Melia and his girlfriend, the afore mentioned, beautiful and talented Heather Lewis, each faced nearly 45 charges: 11 counts of aggravated sexual assault, one count of aggravated sexual assault, four counts of aggravated criminal sexual contact, eight counts of criminal sexual contact, one count of endangering welfare of a child, five counts of endangering the welfare of a child, one count of invasion of privacy, and 14 counts of sexual assault.

Separately, Robert Melia was indicted on the following charges: One count of endangering the welfare of a child, and one count of official misconduct.

Lewis was indicted separately on the following charges: one count of criminal sexual contact, two counts of endangering welfare of a child, and three counts of sexual assault.

Score one for the good guys. But the same detectives who nailed Robert Melia for sexually assaulting young girls also found something they weren’t expecting to find. Never in a million years would they have been expecting to find this.

According to documents filed in Superior Court by the Burlington Count District Attorney’s Office, detectives found videos of Robert Melia committing acts of animal cruelty. Specifically, Bob-O here filmed himself being (Jeez, how can I put this delicately?) um, well, being pleasured orally by a calve. A little baby cow that is. Gives a whole new meaning to cow milking, doesn’t it?

Yes, that’s right folks, Robert Melia enjoyed having oral sex with Bossy’s baby. He must have enjoyed it, because police wound up find a total of 5 such videos, and each time there was a different calf involved. Melia was charged with tormenting the beast, “specifically by having a cow perform fellatio upon him,” which translated into 4 counts of cruelty to animals

According to Burlington County assistant prosecutor Kevin Morgan, forcing a young, innocent calve to give him a blow job is the definition of animal cruelty. During a hearing where Morgan attempted to prove just that to a judge, he had this to say:

“I think any reasonable juror could infer that a man’s penis in the mouth of a calf is torment. It’s a crime against nature.”

Like I said people, you can’t make this stuff up. But it gets even better.

State Superior Court Judge James J. Morley presided over this hearing and his decision would make legal history – well, maybe I’m exaggerating, but it did make Bizarro Land history. Basically, what the judge said was that there was no way to know if the calves felt tormented or just “puzzled”.

“If the cow had the cognitive ability to form thought and speak, would it say, ‘Where’s the milk? I’m not getting any milk,’”

He also compared baby cows to little children, and wondered out loud if they felt comforted by the sucking, as a child is with a pacifier.

“They [children] enjoy the act of suckling. Cows may be of a different disposition.”

At least His Honor let us all know he that doesn’t approve of sex with calves, although you could have fooled me, judging by his ruling

“I’m not saying it’s OK. This is a legal question for me. It’s not a questions of morals. It’s not a question of hygiene. It’s not a question of how people should conduct themselves.”

Judge Morley ordered the animal cruelty charges against Robert Melia Jr. be dropped. And so they were – there will be no justice for those five little calves who were so terribly violated. It’s a travesty of justice.

The good news is this decision doesn’t affect the sexual abuse charges in the least. Now all we have to pray that Judge Morley has nothing to do with Robert Melia’s other cases. I’d hate to have to listen to him wax poetic about the hypothetical benefits of early sexual intercourse.

Brian Hopf lived with his girlfriend, father, stepmother and stepbrother in a nice little house that his parents owned in Chandler, Arizona. On Monday morning, September 8th, 2009, his girlfriend woke to find their newborn daughter unresponsive in her crib with a deep bruise on her forehead. She immediately called 911, and paramedics rushed the baby to a local hospital, where doctors sent Isabella straight to the neonatal intensive care unit.

After further examination, doctors found multiple skull fractures, swelling to her brain, broken ribs and other body trauma. That “other body trauma” must have been the injuries to her inner thighs and genitals that police mentioned in their report, although they were awaiting the results of more tests before they would come out and say three-week-old Isabella was sexually assaulted. I, on the other hand, don’t have a problem saying that Brian Mark Hopf probably raped his own newborn daughter.

The cops, of course, were anxious to interview Brian Mark Hopf. They wanted to know how such a helpless little child managed to get herself so badly injured. According to Brian, he was feeding Isabella at about 4 a.m. when he accidentally poked her in the eye. The girl cried so hard, he said, she stopped breathing for about a minute. He started chest compressions and she began breathing again, but he didn’t call 911 or tell any of the other four adults in the home.

When police told him about the skull fractures, he responded that he tripped and fell while holding Isabella. How convenient. Doctors disagreed with Brian Hopf’s story. They said the skull fractures were from multiple blows to the head, which caused irreversible brain damage, swelling and bleeding.

No one expected the little girl to survive her injuries, and a week later, Isabella Hopf, 4 weeks old, died.

Violent behavior is nothing new for Hopf. He has a history of domestic violence, and in fact was arrested a month before Isabella was beaten for just that charge. He also has convictions for Marijuana Sales and Identity Theft. He still may face a sexual assault charge for the rape of Baby Isabella.

On Wednesday, September 16th, Brian Mark Hopf was indicted by a Maricopa County Grand Jury on charges of First Degree Murder and Aggravated Child Abuse. If convicted on the Murder Charge, Hopf will face the death penalty.

On January 17, 2008, he found Denise Amber Lee, a beautiful 21 year old married mother of two boys.

Michael King didn’t flirt with her, ask her for her phone number or invite her on a date. He instead chose to come on really strong and abduct her from her home at gunpoint, leaving her two terrified children in the house alone. Three hours later, her husband came home to find his sons crying for their mother who was nowhere to be found, with her purse, cell phone and car still there. He called 911 and filed a missing person report with Northport police officers at 3:29 PM.

At 6pm, Michael King showed up at the home of his cousin Harold Muxlow. He asked him if he could borrow a shovel, a can of gasoline and a flashlight. Good old cousin Harold obliged him and gave him the items despite noticing something unusual in Michael’s car, a frightened-looking woman he’d never seen before who was tied up. She begged him to “call the cops”. Harold also noticed that after loading the shovel, gas can and flashlight in his car, Michael hit the woman and knocked her back down into the back seat then took off.

At 6:14 PM, 911 dispatch received a call from Michael King’s cell phone. A frantic woman was heard pleading with a man shouting in the background, at one point saying “I’m sorry. Please let me go. Please let me go. Oh God please please help me please let me see my family again.” The call lasted 6 minutes before being cut off. Incredibly, the police officers searching for Denise because of her husband’s 911 call were not told of her desperate plea for help.

Less than 15 minutes after Denise’s 911 call, the daughter of Harold Muxlow called 911 to report that her father told her he saw Michael King struggling with a woman in his car after borrowing the gas can, shovel and flashlight.

Three minutes after Muxlow’s 911 call, another call was received from a woman describing a dark Camaro beside her on the road, with a man and screaming woman inside. The caller was put on hold because there was a shift change happening at the 911 center. 8 minutes later the call ended when the caller told of Michael King’s car turning down another road and out of her sight.

Police officers arrived at Michael King’s house just 3 minutes after that 911 call, having located his address using the cell phone number recorded during the call made by Denise Lee. They entered the house and found several pieces of evidence indicating a likely kidnapping, one of them being long hair stuck on a piece of used duct tape.

Yet another 911 call was made shortly after that by Harold Muxlow in which he said he’d seen Michael King 15 minutes earlier in another location about 5 miles from where’d he’d been spotted driving around with a terrified woman in his car by the previous caller. By this time there was an all-points bulletin out describing King and his car.

Three hours later a Florida Highway Patrol trooper stopped Michael King on Interstate 75 and arrested him. He was alone, his pants were wet from the knees down and a roadside search of his car revealed a dirty shovel and duct tape. He exercised his right to remain silent and did not answer any questions at all, including any about the disappearance of Denise Lee.

Two days after Michael King’s arrest, the naked body of Denise Lee was found buried in a shallow grave a half mile from where he’d been stopped by the FHP. Denise had been tied up, blindfolded, raped and shot in the right temple.

Michael King pled not guilty to charges of kidnapping, rape and first-degree murder. During his week-long trial in August, his attorneys maintained that another man had committed all the crimes King was charged with, despite the fact that King’s semen was found on Denise’s body, her blood was found on the hood of his car, one of her rings was inside the car, her hair and DNA were found in his house and duct tape proven to be torn from the roll in his car was still stuck to her hair when her body was found.

Thankfully, the jury didn’t buy the bullshit story the defense gave and took only two and a half hours to find Michael King guilty of Aggravated Kidnapping, Aggravated First Degree Sexual Assault and Premeditated Murder on August 28, 2009. The following Friday the same jurors unanimously recommended he be executed for his crimes.

I’ll be waiting for the day I can bid you “Adieu!”, Michael King. I’m going to celebrate the moment you leave this Earth forever, as will the family of Denise Lee and many others.

Editor’s Note: I have nothing for admiration for Denise Lee. My wife and I watched a great deal of this trial on TruTV these past couple of weeks, and IMHO Denise did more to convict Michael King than any other one person. Not only did she make the 911 call, she also had the presence of mind to leave her wedding ring in his car. Also, when you listen to her beg and plead for her life during the infamous 911 call, and you here Michael King’s own voice taunting her, basically telling her she was going to die, you will realize, as I did, that she was testifying from the grave. She was making sure there was no chance Michael King was going to escape this courtroom with his life.

As for the 911 dispatchers who handled the call from the driver who heard Diane’s screams for help and saw her pounding on the car windows begging her for help, they were damned. They somehow screwed up so badly that although the call came in a approximate 6:35 PM, a Sarasota County Deputy didn’t respond to the spot where King’s car turned off the main highway until almost 8:30 PM – nearly 2 hours later. The only good that has come from Denise’s death was that the entire 911 system for the State Of Florida is now scheduled to be updated.
