Who hasn’t heard of Dallas, Texas? It’s a major southern metropolis, there is an iconic 80’s television show named after it, it is the home of the Dallas Cowboys, the Dallas Mavericks, and the Dallas Stars. Historically, it was the center of the oil and cotton industry in America. Sounds like a nice place, huh? Abneris Santiago and Alfred Santiago (no relation) thought the same thing.

Abneris, 30, and her live-in boyfriend, Alfred, 37, moved to Dallas from Florida, in search of the American Dream; tagging along for the ride were Abneris’ daughter, her two sons, and a daughter the couple made together. Forgive me for saying, but I think their sights were set a little lower than the typical “American Dream as they took up residence at a Budget Suites of America extended stay hotel, directly off a major freeway in Dallas. The family stayed in the confined quarters for just about a year, until the beginning of July, when their journey together came to an abrupt end.

Pacts made in earnest with friends that everyone’s virginity will be lost by prom night (think American Pie). Take these three clowns from Dodgeville, Wisconsin. Apparently desperate times called for desperate measures as far as 20 year old twin brothers Nicholas and Alexander Grunke and their friend, 20 year old Dustin Radke were concerned. Perhaps that’s when they decided that if looking for girls at the local mall wasn’t going to work, maybe they should take a look at the local obituaries instead.

As you read this story; do me a favor, keep the idea of “irony” in mind. Hopefully, you will see what I mean at the end.

Let me tell you the story of Darryl Littlejohn. Born in 1965, it didn’t take this little guy long to fall into a life of crime. In 1977, at the ripe old age of 12, Darryl went to a parade. Hey, I probably liked parades at 12, too. Well, I don’t think Darryl was having too much fun at the parade because he decided it would be a good idea to rob a 70 year old woman for $49. Good take for a 12 year old, huh?

This is 25 year old William Lorenzo Page, of Braddock, Pennsylvania. One winter morning in 2007, William took his 23 month old daughter Nyia out for a walk. Most would consider this an act of love from an adoring father. But this was not an ordinary act of bonding. This walk was the climax to a night of abuse, and sadly, it was the last walk Nyia would ever go on.

Nyia Miangel Page was reported missing the early morning hours of Saturday, February 3, after a family member alerted her parents that she was not in her sleeping area. Police were called and an Amber alert was issued and 70 police and rescue workers, along with neighborhood volunteers and bloodhounds, began a search for her in the snowy 20-degree weather.

In early 1979, young James Trotter had plenty to look forward to in life even though his parents had just divorced and he was living in a hotel while his mother was in between apartments. Despite the social and economic stigma the popular good looking kid with braces must have been going through, he had discovered that his friends would stick by his side no matter what. Thirteen is a difficult age too but the Costa Mesa beach kid was street smart and knew how to navigate his way through his urban environment. On the morning of April 19, 1979 “Jamey” grabbed his backpack and skateboard, told his mother he loved her and would see her that night, and headed out the door of the hotel room towards his bus stop. On his way to school he was murdered.

I’d like all of you to meet 26-year-old Justin Shine. Justin Shine likes children, and he especially enjoys playing silly games with the neighborhood kids. Wow, it sounds like Justin Shine is a really sweet guy, doesn’t it?

On June 29th, 2009, Justin Shine saw a six-year-old girl who lived in the same Hanover Woods apartment complex as his ex-girlfriend. Shine’s ex-girlfriend, Holly Hersh, kicked Shine out of the apartment two weeks prior to the attack after he became hooked on drugs and she found a hypodermic needle in the apartment they shared with her young son, but he broke in over the weekend.

El Modena High School in Orange County, California. What a place. First there was Principal Brent Bailey, 56. Principal Bailey was forced to resign from his position in the year 2007. This stemmed from an incident which occurred one sunny afternoon in a crowded park in December 2006. Principal Bailey was lurking on a trail which was known to be frequented by prostitutes. As a man approached Bailey, the principal began touching his genitals, then pulled out his unit and started masturbating. What Principal Bailey didn’t know was that the man who he thought was a prostitute was in fact an undercover police officer. Oopsie. Looks like Principal Bailey unwrapped his Christmas package a bit too late. Or maybe too early?

As a rule, I get several suggestions a day for candidates to join the People You’ll See In Hell Allstars. It’s not that unusual for two people to nominate the same person, but it is very unusual when SIX people nominate the same dirtbag. That tends to get my attention. In fact, until today, it’s never happened before.

Until Arnold T. Ross came along that is.

Arnold, even at the tender age of 17, is quite the man’s man. His rap sheet already includes arrests for drug possession charges; obscenity; battery on a correctional officer; three counts of battery on a school teacher; theft; weapons charges; and assault. Our high school drop out is just the guy I’d want to babysit my 8-month-old baby while I was working my full time job, wouldn’t you?
