As a little girl I think we all dream of becoming a dancer, a model or maybe even a big movie star. I know I did. My father, during one of his many times of attempting sobriety owned a carpet store. I was in his local TV commercial, it wasn’t a speaking part but during that time I just knew it was the start of my acting career. I was only about 10 so it didn’t take much to excite me back then.

Anyone who knows anything about Haiti knows that it is an extremely poor country. In fact, the UN’s Human Development Index puts it as the poorest country in all of the Americas. 80% of the population is estimated to be below the poverty line.
The country has also had to deal with frequent political turmoil and recent destruction from tropical cyclones and a potent earthquake. Needless to say, Haiti needs all the help that it can get.
Enter Douglas Perlitz. As a student at Fairfield University in the late 80s and early 90s, Doug did some missionary work in Haiti and was so profoundly affected by what he saw that he decided to do something about it. In 1997, he founded a school called Project Pierre Toussaint in the city of Cap-Haïtien.

I lived in the Houston area for about 6 years, I absolutely loved it. I loved the different cultures, the great food, the historical landmarks, shopping and never got bored or ran out of things to do. Yes, the traffic was horrible and it was hot and humid.
We also had to evacuate for Hurricane Rita but aside from that I had no complaints. I traveled into the city for work and lived about 30 minutes out, if there was no traffic, which was rare.
Inside the Houston city limits there are plenty of seedy areas that most people would try to avoid if at all possible. There are lots of gangs and crime in general. The National Gang Threat Assessment group reports Houston has more gangs than any other city in TX with 225 different documented gangs. Houston has a population of 4 million people, not including the undocumented residents, so I guess it’s no surprise.

For most decent human beings, children are blessings. After having a child, you may find yourself drawn to other children around, and maybe even have some maternal instinct to want to protect them as your own. I know that’s what happened after I had my son.
I never really liked kids, but after having my own, I had this overwhelming feeling of compassion for all children. Stories about child abuse hit me especially hard after the birth of my son, and I know I am not the only one to feel that way.
Now, maybe this is a far stretch, but all good parents would not want any harm to come to a child, whether it be their own or someone else’s. Agreed?

Burnaby, British Columbia, art dealer Kenneth Robert Klassen, when interviewed by police, confessed he was “guilty of loving women too much.” Is that a crime? That bit of boasting kind of makes him sound like a Casanova, a real ladies’ man. And in his mind, I’m sure the divorced father of three did consider himself a great lover of women.
The problem is that in his twisted little mind “women” is defined differently that it is for the rest of us. The rest of us think of women as adult females. For Kenny boy here, “women” are female, preferably prepubescent. Yup, Kenneth Robert Klassen likes his “women” as young as he can get them. This would make his idea of “loving” closer to our idea of child molestation and rape. Closer? Spot on, I would say.

The novelty of giving life to a new human being is sometimes more joy than people can take and they go absolutely giddy. Most young parents we know are so slap-happy with the birth of their baby that we are inundated with photos and videos of their new offspring.
Some couples are so caught up in the whole procreation thing that they videotape the actual birth and then show it to friends – now THAT is a couple that is still in the WOW phase of parenthood.
The point is that couples and new babies give us something that we can relate to, take joy in and leaves us generally with a warm feeling.
But what happens when thoroughly evil beings partake in the creation of life? What then?

This is 54-year-old Kent Peter Frandsen of Salt Lake City. In September of 2010, this guy made a mistake; he decided to sell $40 of meth to an undercover cop.
So it looks like ol’ Kent has a bit of a drug problem, and I guess he wasn’t bringing in enough money at his day job to support it. According to their website, Kent is the founder and president of Aspen West Publishing and Distribution. He has authored two books, “survival guides” containing recipes and budgeting tips for young men and women adjusting to living away from home. How…wholesome. Apparently, the books have sold over a million copies since the company was established in 1984, but if the prez of the company is a drug dealer, I guess they haven’t been doing well lately.

Is there a form of life lower than that which rapes members of its own species, sets the victims on fire while they are alive and takes an item of their clothing as a souvenir? For three years I would have said “no”, but once again there are wastes of skin found below the bottom of the barrel. Rather than going into detail on the original crime, please Google or Bing “Petit Cheshire”. Warning – some of the crime scene photos Satan found disturbing.
Sounds like the case is open and shut – the 2 perps were caught in the act at a crime scene surrounded by cops. No one else could have possibly committed this crime and after some review of the gruesome details, it’s not like one of the victims could have accidentally caused such carnage. Even Santa Claus would have faced the death penalty.
