  • Steven Sueppel

For 42-year-old Steven Sueppel of Iowa City, suicide alone wouldn’t ensure a designated seat in this “Hell of Fame”. Neither would his embezzlement of approximately $560,000 dollars from the bank of which he was the Vice-President - Hills Bank and Trust.

But you know if Steven Sueppel was looking for a quick one-way ticket to Hell, murdering his entire family just might have gotten that for him.

Steven Sueppel had been indicted in February of 2008 on charges of embezzlement and money laundering and was out wandering around on a $250,000 personal bond. The Sueppel family was highly regarded in the area, with regular folks considering anyone with that last name to be “good people.”

    Karyn Adele Galila

Someone send in a picture of Karyn Adele Galila. Please.

We here at People You’ll See In Hell hate rape victims, after all.

    Can’t stand ‘em.

24-year-old Karyn Galila, a dental assistant, was driving around in her gray Jeep Liberty on the 12th of June, 2007 at about nine at night when, predictably, it broke down.

As Karyn Galila was sitting in her car, a Latino man and some of his friends pulled over behind her and approached her door. They insisted on helping Karyn and did so by pushing her Jeep off the main street and onto a cross street.

    Colin Norris

Colin Norris32-year-old Colin Norris really, really disliked working with the elderly, which may have been a sign that maybe…just maybe…nursing wasn’t the right career field for Colin.

Colin Norris wasn’t really suited for mortuary work either, considering that he’d been disowned by his father after being caught stealing his dead grandparents’ jewelry off their corpses during their funeral.

But nursing was the field that Colin Norris chose, however, and after his 2001 graduation from nursing school, Colin Norris began work in the health care field, working at two hospitals in Leeds where he cared for…you guessed it…elderly patients.

    Charles Lee Thornton

Charles ThorntonUsually people like 50-year-old Charles Lee Thornton live in Florida, the land of the hanging chads.

Charles “Cookie” Thornton lived in Kirkwood, Missouri (yes, that Kirkwood Missouri) and was one of “those” people. Charles Thornton was the type of guy who buys a house with a neighborhood association, knowing the association has rules, but he ignores those rules because he wants a purple house and wants to prove to himself that freedom of speech still exists in the United States. No purple house? No freedom of speech.

    Melissa Arrington

Melissa ArringtonIn November 2007, 27-year-old Melissa Arrington was found guilty of two counts of aggravated DUI and one count of negligent homicide.

These charges stemmed from her actions on the night of the first of December, 2006, when Melissa Arrington was driving around Pima County in Arizona with her blood-alcohol level at .156 - twice Arizona’s legal limit.

On that night, while driving around drunk, Melissa Arrington hit 45-year-old bicyclist Paul L’Ecuyer with her car. Paul L’Ecuyer wasn’t even on the road when Melissa Arrington hit him - she swerved off the road, hit the guy, then kept driving for 800 feet before stopping.

    Muhammad Parvez

Aqsa ParvezWe here at People You’ll See In Hell will be the first to admit:

We’re not big fans of Shari’a law.

57-year-old Muhammad Parvez, a cab driver in Toronto, Canada, is a perfect example of why.

A religious man who would stop his cab at least three to four times a day to pray, Muhammad was having a hard time bringing his 16-year-old daughter, Aqsa Parvez, in-line.

She was so problematic that he was forced to take slightly more drastic physical measures than usual to make sure she got the idea that he was in charge.

    Michael Vick

Michael VickThere’s all kinds of inspiring quotes.

Try this one: Pride goeth before the fall.

Or this: The higher someone is, the more it hurts when you hit the ground.

On December 23, 2004, Michael Vick, a standout American football player since 1999, signed a 10-year contract with the Atlanta Falcons that was worth $130 million - with a $37 million signing bonus thrown in as well. This deal made him the highest paid player in NFL history at that time and made everyone even slightly connected to Vick feel very, very proud.

    Robert J. Pavlovich Jr.

Robert PavlovichWith the hundreds of thousands of police officers working throughout the United States, there’s bound to be a few that slip through the cracks.

Smaller towns and counties often have to scramble to get even semi-qualified people to submit an application. Pay is usually the biggest factor contributing to the officer shortage, with smaller towns frequently paying their new officers less than $20,000 a year.

That being said, if you’re in charge, or know someone in charge, of hiring police officers in your neck of the woods, please don’t hire 39-year-old Robert J. Pavlovich Jr.

    Please.
