With the hundreds of thousands of police officers working throughout the United States, there’s bound to be a few that slip through the cracks.

Smaller towns and counties often have to scramble to get even semi-qualified people to submit an application. Pay is usually the biggest factor contributing to the officer shortage, with smaller towns frequently paying their new officers less than $20,000 a year.

That being said, if you’re in charge, or know someone in charge, of hiring police officers in your neck of the woods, please don’t hire 39-year-old Robert J. Pavlovich Jr.

Way back in 1995, Robert Pavlovich worked as a police officer in Manheim Township in Pennsylvania…for a while. He was charged with indecently assaulting a teenage girl, but acquitted. Even though his jury found him not guilty, he was still fired.

Judges serve an important duty to the community. They serve as the hand of justice, weighing evidence and passing sentence. Their decisions affect thousands of lives, protecting the innocent by punishing the guilty.

Some judges are influential enough that their opinions can change the course of history.

Judge Julian Hall could have been that kind of judge, but he didn’t study hard enough in judge school.

Keith Fenn, a 25-year-old window cleaner, had sex with a 10-year-old girl in a park.

As the drinking wound down, Nathaniel Lundquist and James Karelas figured that they’d continue the party elsewhere….together.

So at about two in the morning, the young twosome left the bar together in Lundquist’s car, with the intention being intending to drive over to Karelas’ house and engage in what folks in Council Bluffs, Iowa call “hot gay sex.”

Considering Iran has refused to even entertain the idea of stopping their nuclear weapon development program, and how the United States and its’ allies would respond to active aggression towards Israel, I would have to say that, should push come to shove, Mr. Ahmadinejad would probably be wise to live in a very deep, very secure bunker for a while.
