45-year-old Jack McClellan is a pedophile who freely admits his attraction to little girls (or LG’s as he likes to call them) and has, in the past, created a series of websites that served as “How-To” manuals for other pedophiles.
Mr. McClellan, while living in Washington State with his parents, had staked out public places that parents might take their kids to and snapped some photos of little girls and little boys. He posted these pictures on his websites, often with little endearing comments.
He is fond of hanging out in places like parks, fast-food restaurants, public libraries, and school play areas.
Jack McClellan has stated on his website that, “Most libraries have frequent programs and events for children, and sometimes you can get quite close to LGs there.”
Jack has said that his purpose is to promote association, friendship and legal, consensual hugging and cuddling between men and pre-pubescent girls. His “age of attraction” is for girls between 3 and 11 years old.
“I guess the main thing is I just think they’re cute, a lot cuter than women. I admit there is kind of an erotic arousal there,” McClellan said. “It makes me happy simply. Like I said, I think girls are cute, beautiful, just children in general make me happy … being around lots of them. … I’m doing what anyone else would do with a hobby. If someone’s into birds they’re taking pictures of birds. I’m convinced that none of these images are illegal.”
Jack McClellan doesn’t think pedophilia is anything to be ashamed of and wants to bring pedophiles out of the closet. By teaching pedophiles how to go out and be around little girls, he hopes that these grown men will “get some relief and be able to control themselves.”
“I really think a lot of this pedophilia hysteria is overblown,” McClellan has said. “I think there are a lot of people like me. They have the attraction but they’re not going to do anything physical because of the laws. It just makes me happy to attend these events and take pictures.”
Isn’t that wonderful?
“As disturbing and offensive as we find this, there’s no evidence of a crime, or even suspicion of illegal activity,” said the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Department, up in Washington State.
Jack McClellan doesn’t think parents of little girls really understand him. He has insisted in interviews that he would never actually touch a little girl sexually, or at least he doesn’t think he would.
In a recent interview McClellan said, “I guess there is some small chance maybe someday I might be able to get some sort of friendship with a girl and maybe then I might worry would I cross the line,” he said. “But right now, no. There’s no doubt in my mind I wouldn’t.
Regardless of how much Mr. Jack McClellan feels that he’s misunderstood, on Friday, August 3rd of 2007, he was ordered by Superior Court Judge Melvin Sandvig to stay at least 30 feet from any Californian under the age of 18.
On August 24th, there will be a more in-depth discussion between Judge Sandvig and Jack McClellan regarding the matter.
McClellan did not show up in court, claiming that he didn’t hear about the hearing until it was too late to show up.
He was served with the court order by Anthony Zinnanti and Richard Patterson – two attorneys who, being parents of small children, have a problem with pedophiles.
They served him while he was boarding a plane to Chicago so he could be interviewed on a television show.
Jack McClellan’s response? “That was granted? Oh man, I didn’t think it would be.”
McClellan feels that his constitutional rights have been violated by this order.
It might have been hard for McClellan to hear about the court date because he’s recently moved to Orange County from his parents’ house in Washington State.
Understandably, it’s hard to hear about things like court dates when you live in your car and are unemployed, living on SSI.
