“Call me, live your life, love it.”

These were the last words of thirty-year-old Lechea Crawford. They appeared in the form of a text message sent to her father, Lamar Arnold, moments after she had been shot during an argument with her husband. During his rampage she had also watched him shoot her sister and every one of her sister’s four young children. Her sister and three of the kids were dead, and very soon it would be Lechea’s turn.

That was the scene in Cleveland, Ohio. It began Thursday night, March 6th, 2009, around 8PM, when a child knocked on his neighbor’s door. He’d been shot and was critically injured, but was still able to tell police what had happened to him.

Ervin and Ana Lupoe. of Wilmington, California, were fired from their job. It’s been happening alot in these days of financial crisis. Mr.and Mrs. Lupoe felt like they could no longer go on, and as the parents of five young children, twin 2-year-old-boys, twin 5-year-old-girls, and an 8-year-old-girl, a decision had to be made about what to do. Do we leave them behind and put their fate in hands of the Department of Children’s Services, or do we murder them and take them with us. Sounds like your typical murder/suicide scenario more and more Americans face every day. But if you think I’m going to make an argument that parents such as these deserve hell, you’d only be partially correct. Even I’m not that cold hearted. But I do believe Ervin and Ana Lupoe and very cold hearted, and very, very Hellwortly.

As I sit down and prepare to write this story, I find myself confused. I’m comfortable with the idea that Glendol Bush is hellworthy, there’s no doubt in my mind there. Well, you know what, let me tell you the whole story, and maybe you will understand my dilemma.

Glendol Bush recently became a father, usually a cause for celebration, except that in this case the mother of Glendol’s new daughter is only 15 years old. Since Glendol T. Bush is 44 years old, the girl’s mother and the state of Wyoming took a dim view of the relationship, especially after it was revealed by the teenager that Bush had been having sexual intercourse with her since age 13.

Banaz Mahmod, 20, was from a strict traditional Kurdish family. She was 10, when she and her father fled from Iraq to Britain in order to escape Saddam Hussein’s regime(Her father once served in the Iraqi army.). At the age of 17, she entered an arranged marriage with a man from her clan, whom she had only met on 3 occasions before the wedding day. She was expected to be a traditional subservient wife and mother.

However, Her husband was ill educated and old fashioned. Banaz Mahmod told police in September 2005 that she was raped on at least 6 occasions and she was beat regularly by her husband. In one assault she claimed one of her teeth was almost knocked out because she called her husband by his first name in public. At one point depressed Banaz even attempted to hang herself. She told her family that she wanted out of the marriage, but, her family persuaded her to stay with him.

It’s not everyday that our significant other leaves us… But when they do, Ben & Jerry’s should certainly send us a gift basket to show how appreciative they are of our support!

That is unless you grieve like Daniel Tice (left). You see, Danny boy here is already getting sympathy for what he has done as his mother has just recently died rather unexpectedly and the poor man was receiving medication for depression after her death. Medication that he was not on when he decided to act out in a most extreme way.

Thirty-two year old Michael Merrifield is a real stand up citizen of Dunbar, WV. On September 6th, 2005, just before Logan Goodall’s third birthday, his mom Pepper Dawn Eren unfortunately had to go to work.

As she had many times in the past, Pepper left her son in the care of Michael Merrifield. During the past few months Merrifield had dated and lived with Pepper Eren

On that day, Logan was sexually abused and beaten until he died.

During the autopsy, the medical examiner noted the following injuries:

Is it just me, or is something seriously wrong with the way we protect our kids? Stories of children being abused physically and sexually, starved and beaten to death fill our media networks everyday.

And then there’s the story of Karen, Jack, Maddie and Bon Bell.

Karen met Gary when she was just 18. He was 29, good-looking, charming, and funny. But within two years the charmer had turned violent, often taking out his rage on Karen.

And yet Karen stayed. She stayed through fat lips, chipped teeth and bruising from being kicked and punched by Gary. She stayed for 15 years. Over those 15 years they had three beautiful children.

Things have been pretty heavy here at PYSIH for the last week or two, haven’t they?

I mean Joseph Koney, the Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs and the Baby “P” Case all hit the site at about the same time. Jasmine Richardson and Jeremy Steinke were back in the news again and we all know how popular they are, especially young Jazzy.

It seemed to me that the mood was darkening in our little online community, and that worried me, because, as editor, I’m kind of like the morale officer of a cruise ship. If you were to all riot and rip each other’s throats out, well, it wouldn’t speak well of my job performance. I’ll tell you my good friends, I was at the brink of despair. admin has entrusted me with the welfare of PYSIH and it’s emotional wellbeing was in danger of going into the shitter.
